We had used David Leonard a few years ago and was pleased with his work so I gave him a call again. After leaving several messages, he finally called back. I told him we needed a toilet and faucet replaced and scheduled him for that Wed. He said usually he can just replace the insides of the tank and save us on replacing the commode. He arrived on time on Wed and looked at the tank. This was an old commode so he said he'd have to get the part from a store close to where he lives and that he'd be back the next day. I wondered why he didn't at least replace the faucet, which we had purchased. After he left, I looked in the tank, and he had taken all the parts out. We could use the toilet before but not after he left. He had turned the water off to the commode but it kept running anyway. He never came back or called. Haven't seen him to this day and don't want to.

He's the plumber everyone wants: professional, friendly, dependable, reasonably priced, and honest. He even turned down a job once for us that he could have profited from by showing us another direction to go, after he'd already assessed the situation.
Description of Work: Replaced blown exterior faucets. On previous occasions has done a variety of plumbing work for us, both emergency and non.

I initially called Leonard Plumbing to install new shut-off valves since the old ones started leaking during demolotion of my old kitchen sink and cabinets. He first spoke with me by phone to help diagnose my problem so he could stop by a plumbing supply company and pick up any necessary parts to avoid having to come back later and have me wait for him to return with the right parts. He was prompt in responding to my initial call, which I appreciated, since my kitchen shut-off valve was leaking. After my cabinets were installed, I called him again to hook up my sink, kitchen faucet, dispose-all, and dishwasher on temporary counter tops. During his installation of said items, he showed me in advance where he would have to drill new holes in my cabinets, which I appreciated. Additionally, he cleaned up any water spills immediately, and cleaned up all wood shavings left in the bottom of my cabinets caused by drilling holes. He was prompt, neat, courteous, and always kept me informed of any delays he was experiencing or what he had to do during installation. He also told me what to do to uninstall my sink for delivery of new counter tops. I will have to call him again to reinstall my sink ( for an additional, nomimal fee) once my counter tops are installed, which I will gladly do.
Description of Work: David Leonard installed a new snk, kitchen faucet, dispose-all, and dishwasher on my kitchen remodel. Since the cabinets were new, he had to drill several holes in the cabinet sides.
