The first time everything went really well. The second time however was not very good. I had trouble communicating with the crew that came out, they broke a couple of blinds in my bathroom and the cleaning was not as thorough as the first time.

horrible, I tried to contact the company daily for a refund and after a week i got someone on the phone, no refund and then no returned calls so I reversed the charges on my credit card and won.
Description of Work: Hired them for a deep clean, two maids showed up and cleaned for 45 minutes. smeared the dirt around and missed large areas. there was still streaks on my hardwood and a cockroach in my bathtub. it was horrible.

The experience wasn't that good. Initially, they responded well and they sent a particular cleaner. I set up the service for an extended period. It went well for a while. Their particular cleaner quit. I don't know the reason why he quit. I struggled finding somebody else. They came out within 2-3 days and I discontinued with the service because of my situation. I have an apartment in Houston as well. I wanted someone to do a deep cleaning. I am a consultant, so I do come here and stay in my apartment. They used to just pick up the rug and do some cleaning, that's it. The service wasn't what I expected. I used to pay $83 a week for cleaning and additional services. They used to be there for an hour and a half. I didn't do any price shopping. They responded well.

I used them pretty consistently a couple of years ago. I like them very much. They sent three people over and they were in and out of here in a very short amount of time. They did a really good job cleaning. One of them scratched the countertop in my bathroom while she was trying to get nail polish off; she tried to scrub it off rather than using a nail polish remover. I called the company and let them know and they knocked half of my service off. They only charged $50 for a $100 cleaning. They addressed the issue right away. Obviously they couldn't fix it for $50 but I was satisfied that they took some action. I think they showed up on time when they said they were going to. I don't remember being unhappy with the time. When I get to a point where I can spend a hundred bucks again on cleaning my house I will call them again.

I've used private cleaning contractors, large cleaning companies and occasionally had full-time housekeepers over the last 25 years and this was a really disappointing experience by comparison. When I booked I was told that I would receive 4 hours of cleaning including baseboards, blinds, etc. The two girls arrived late and only stayed 2 hours. I told them I didn't need the entire house done, just specific rooms such as master bedroom and bath, dining, living room and kitchen including the floors to be swept and washed downstairs and vacuumed upstairs. Not a huge amount of work. Underneath the stove burners was not cleaned, the fridge wasn't cleaned, the floor of the master shower was not cleaned, no sills or blinds were dusted or cleaned. General floors were swept, washed and vacuumed well, including stairs. I had a broken shoulder and apart from the floors and shower walls I could have done a better job myself. I was surprised that the cleaners were leaving so quickly and was about to get on a conference call so only had a minute to review their work and didn't realize just how sloppy it was until an hour after they'd left. I'd originally booked the company for an ongoing bi-weekly service but promptly cancelled after this experience and despite being told when I booked hat if I was unhappy with the service they would take care of me, when I responded to their quality survey expressing my dissatisfaction, I never heard back from them.

Did not go well. Once when cleaning staff did not show up, we called after several hours to find out if they were coming and if so when. The man we spoke with was quite rude, and seemed to blame us because several of his staff did not show up that day.
Description of Work: At first the company provided satisfactory cleaning services, but as time went by they became less thorough in cleaning. There were areas of the house never dusted and some rooms had only cursory floor vaccuming. A major problem was that they regularly showed up late for appointments, and never called to let us know they would be late--often we did nit know if they were coming or not. Although they assured us initially that the person cleaning the house would be fluent in English, often the cleaner did not speak or understand English, so we could not communicate special needs.

Poor quality, poor customer service, and poor attempt to reconcile a very easy mutually exclusive arrangement!
Description of Work: I would like to rate the "cleaning of my home" that was scheduled for today 1/7/13 at 1:00, however the maid that I SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED NUMEROUS TIMES MUST BE ON TIME did not show up to my house. After my initial contact today at 1:07 pm because she failed to meet the 1:00 scheduled time I was told by dispatch that she would call me back within two minutes. At 1:28 pm I called back after NOT RECEIVING my call back. The dispatcher (Salina??) stated the maid's other job lasted longer because the house before mine was dirtier than expected and she could probably be here by 2:00, but had not left her other job yet. This will not work for me as I stated when setting up the appointment because I needed a deep cleaning with primary focus on dusting and she needed to leave by 4:00 (I went into EXPLICIT DETAIL that the maid would not need to clean my restrooms, make my beds, do laundry/dishes....basically just dust because I am allergic to it otherwise I would have taken care of it like I do everything else.I was offered a 10% discount for my troubles and told that I could leave the house and "trust her." Like I "trusted" your company to be here at the appointment time?!? I was NEVER TOLD THIS WAS AN APPROXIMATE TIME for the maid to show and again and again mentioned my time constraints! I even tried to reason with them and say that she could come to my house for two hours, but they still wanted to charge me full price because according to them they do not charge by the hour, but until the job is done. Since she wasn't here yet and had not started, I am sure she would have been spending the night!I will be filing a complaint in all avenues readily available and the Better Business Bureau. ONE WORD: UNACCEPTABLE! NEXT WORDS: DO NOT USE!!

They responded quickly and compared to other estimates gave the best rate. I did not find this company on Angies List at first so I am surprised by the poor ratings but some have been in other cities. They met my schedule requirements with no problem and showed up on time. I met 2 women at the house and they seemed nice and polite. I left them and came back later and they were hard at work. The house was cleaned just fine. The only one area that could have been better was the bathroom. I was hoping they could have gotten out some of the water stains at the drain but maybe they tried and it wouldn't come up. I have not tried myself. But overall good experience I would hire again.
Description of Work: One time cleaning for a move-in on a rental house. Over 2400 sq ft with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

A friend had used Just Cleaning in Dallas and was quite pleased. The North Richland Hills office was the office that serves my area so this review pertains to that office in particular. During my first phone call to Just Ceaning, in mid-October, I talked with someone from the main office, in Austin. She was quite helpful and explained a deal where I could get 3 3-hour cleanings for a reduced price. She emailed a list of rooms and tasks and explained that I was to prioritize rooms/tasks and that was the order in which the work would be completed. When the 3 hours was over, the cleaning would cease, regardless of whether the list had been completed. With the exception of the first date, I was not given my future dates but was assured they would give me a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to their visit since I was required to give them 48 hours notice of a cancellation. My first cleaning date was 10/19/2012. I was initially pleased since it appeared that the maid had completed the things on my list and more. As I began looking more carefully, however, I realized that many of the basics had not been completed. For example, the top of the chest of drawers in my bedroom had not been touched, nor was my headboard. Most of my dresser still had dust on it as well. I decided to fulfill my 3 month commitment but that I would not continue service afterwards. I wasn't informed of my second cleaning date until the maid was en route to my house. Since I was at work, I did not get the voice mail until several hours later. Because I had not been given the notice they promised, the house had not been picked up and my dog was not contained - that being the case, I knew the cleaning would be sub-par and even worse than the prior visit. I called back as soon as I got their message and had to leave a voice mail for Just Cleaning. I told them to get the maid out of my house immediately since I had not been given the appropriate notification and that any money I spent on cleaning would be wasted since much of the 3 hours would have to be spent simply straightening things. I demanded they call me immediately to discuss and told them that I should not have to pay for any work done since they had not fulfilled their notification commitment. I did not receive a call back and I was charged. I was extremely unhappy. A maid appeared at my door this morning for cleaning #3. Thankfully I was home this time. I turned her away and made her return my key on the spot. I then called and, once again, had to leave a voice mail. I told them I had refused service and that I would not pay for the visit, nor would I allow them to complete the 3rd cleaning. I did get a return call this time - simply to confirm I wanted to cancel all future service. No apologies, no explanations...not even an attempt at an excuse. My only regret is that I imagine the company did not pay the maid for her time since she did not clean. A reputable company would "make things right" with their employee, but based on my experience with them I highly doubt that to be the case here. I highly discourage anyone from using this service. Again, my experience was with the North Richland Hills office so I cannot comment on whether all of their offices are as inept as this office.

My issue is with customer service more than the cleaning of my house. I have had 2 terrible experiences with them. The first involved improper billing which was rectified but it took over a week and multiple phone calls and constantly being told the payroll person was not in,out sick or unavailable.When I finally connected with them, the person on the was relaying what I was saying to someone obviously standing there who would not come to the phone. The second involves a picture broken by the cleaning team. When I called and expressed what had happened I recieved the following response "So what you want to make a complaint" (not in a courteous manner at all) I was then put on hold and spoke with someone else who stated"well accidents happen" after several other unagreeable statements they agreed to give me a discount on my next cleaning or if I had a receipt for the picture would reimburse me a portion. However, the attitude of the customer service people is rude and condescending and they attempt to make you feel as though you are wrong for expecting good service.

I'm surprised by the reviews I'm seeing. I couldn't find an "A" rated Angie's List company who could fit me in on short notice, so I just googled some companies and came up with "Just Cleaning." They were responsive, fit me in quickly and gave me two pricing options - a full clean or a "block" (of time) cleaning. I chose the block option for @ $120 + tax for 3 hours. They emailed me a list (which is on their website) asking me to check off everything I wanted. Everything was done thoroughly, looked great, smelled great and I was very happy. I intend to call them again and refer others to them.
Description of Work: I requested a "block" cleaning (3 hours) in which I had them clean two living areas, the kitchen and one bath.

Have had Just Cleaning for almost 2 years and in the last 6 month the service has really gone down hill to where it has reach a point it is unacceptable. Couple things about this company, you never get the same cleaners so there is no ability to set any consistent expectations. The amount of time they spent cleaning my home was shorter and shorter over the last several months and this was after calling to express dissatisfaction with the cleaning. The last visit they spent 1 hr (two cleaners). The quality of services they provide are minimal at best I do not believe they are using any disinfected when cleaning the bathrooms as there was abosutly no scent of any cleaner (used to have a scent when they cleaned). I suspect they skipped over much of the services because my home appeared clean. If your considering a cleaning service then you should just avoid Just Cleaning. The quality is poor, there is no consistency with cleaners, there is a complete abensce of any Quality Control. I don't consider their premium cost of $68 hr for sub par cleaning a good value.

I have been using Just Cleaning Company for a couple of years. I selected this company after "testing" 3 different cleaners after I had to let the last cleaning company go. To be fair, the majority of my issues are with the company and overall customer service as opposed to the cleaning service. When I evaluated the cleaning service 2 years ago, I signed up based upon the cleaner who did a fantastic job. I said that I would choose JCCo if I could have the same cleaner. I was told that would be fine unless she was out sick/holiday/etc. or called away because she was a supervisor. That was acceptable and for the first year, I had the same cleaner almost every time and I was very happy. My preferred cleaner has not been here for the last 3 cleaning visits and the quality is just not the same. I contacted customer service on a couple of incidents and did not receive a response. The most recent incident involved an issue with the alarm while I was out of the country and the Police responded to several false alarms in one day and left me a note regarding a possible $1000 false alarm fine. To be fair, the company did try to contact me and left a message when the cleaner had a problem with the code. I called to discuss the situation with customer service when I returned to understand better exactly who the cleaners were and what issue they had and I was told that the computers were down and they would have to call me back. That was 3 weeks ago. Today, one of the cleaners accidentally broke a small inexpensive bud vase and contacted me to offer to pay. It was of no value and I told them not to worry about it. However; when I came home, large and small fragments of the glass littered the counter top so some of the larger pieces may have been picked up but it was evident that much of the glass was left behind. We have instructions in our file that is to be shared with each cleaner about handling of pets, etc. as well and in addition to the glass, the door to the laundry area where the litter box is located was shut when the instructions specifically ask for it not to be. Several other minor things including several bed pillows being left on chairs instead of the bed as well as the sofa and love seat not being vacuumed just added up to enough for me to decide to terminate this company.I feel as if I tried very hard to work with this company and I believe that I have been very patient working with different cleaners to explain where things were; etc. I contacted customer service today and asked to terminate my service. The representative asked for the service address and told me that my key would be returned within a week. At no point did she ask about why I was terminating.

I was told from the beginning that the cleaners would have the block cleaning list with them each time they came. Every time I was home when they arrived, they NEVER had the list with them. For the first cleaning, I had to try and explain to the cleaner in my broken Spanish what I wanted cleaned and what I didn't. I felt sorry for her because I'm not sure she could understand me! More often that not there was something they did/cleaned that they weren't supposed to. If their best cleaner, Flor, couldn't come I knew they would do the wrong things. I had to start putting up signs around the house when leaving the list on the front door didn't do the trick. Yes, I am very particular, but it seems so simple to me to FOLLOW THE LIST!!! Plus, I wanted to make sure they had time to clean as many things on the list as possible (things I didn't like doing... dusting baseboards, blinds, etc.) I did not want them to: 1. Clean my kitchen2. Clean the hardwood... our baby is always on the floor playing, and we like to use our own cleaning products. One time they put up dirty dishes that were in the dishwasher and threw in ones that were in the sink. I litterally mean threw. Cups and glasses were laying on their side, and bowls were stacked on top of each other. They can't get clean when there is another bowl inside of it! They also broke one of my glasses. I called and spoke to customer service, and they assured me it wouldn't happen again. I never put on the list to have them clean my hardwood floors. A handful of times they did it anyway. They use a solution of Minwax Oil and water, which makes them very slippery. I fell while holding my 2 month old son. Luckily we were okay. The last time they came, they had either cleaned them again or spilled something on them to make them very slippery. My son slipped and hit his head on the floor. I also fell and hurt my foot. I responded to the comment email they send out each time your house is cleaned. No one called back. I had to call them so I could discuss this with them. We decided to cancel our service, and they told me they would bring our key by the house. They ended up MAILING IT!!! Why in the world would you mail a key to the house it belongs to? What cleaning they did was good. Flor and Aricely are wonderful and really nice. However, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, especially if you only want them to do certain things.
Description of Work: I was signed up for the monthly block cleaning. I completed their list, ranking in order the rooms i wanted cleaned and within each room ranked in order what i wanted cleaned. They sent one cleaner to clean as much of that list as possible in 3 hours.

My husband contacted Just Cleaning Co for a quote on how much it would cost to clean our new home, that we just moved in to. The manager gave a move-in cleaning quote based on square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms. They called in advance and asked if they could come earlier. Two ladies came in with their tools and cleaned our house. They were quick, nice and punctual. I liked how they asked where to clean first, what other places to clean. I did have to go back and ask them to wipe the doors one more time, because it seemed that they had dirt spots on them.Overall I am satisfied with their work. Our home felt crispy clean after them.

They did show up on time, but that's about all that went right. We were finishing clearing out the garage when they showed up and then had to leave so we weren't there to inspect the finished job until later the day after they left. At that point we found that the master shower had essentially not been washed at all. I could tell the did something in there, but I could easily wipe remaining dirt off the shower with my bare finger and this was a problem through out the shower. Additionally many of our countertops were not fully clean, spots remained. They didn't do a great job mopping either. Obviously this was frustrating, but since they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee we called to have them come out and at least clean the shower. My wife called and told them it was time sensitive as the new owner was coming by to inspect it in the afternoon the next day. They said they would check their schedule and call back. They never did call back. We ended up having to go back and clean the shower and counter tops ourselves and it made a world of difference. It was very clear that they did not put any effort into cleaning the shower. At that point their call back was unnecessary, but the fact that it's now been over a week and no one ever called back shows exactly what their 100% satisfaction guarantee is worth.
Description of Work: Cleaned house after we moved out in preparation for the new owner. Was to include all floors, counter tops, blinds, bathrooms, inside cabinets, etc.

They did a really good job. I liked them. However, they did upsell me to a deepcleaning, which I wasn't very happy about because I thought I was getting that at first. There was some clarity issues about the aspects of the service. However, when I called in for a refund they were responsive and understanding about processing the refund.

Description of Work: UPDATE: After I wrote this up, I finally got a response. They apologized and offered to send another person out to do the deep cleaning that I was promised. This time, the quality was wonderful. I appreciate the offer of coming to re-do the house and I'll stay with this service for now. I have been a Just Cleaning customer since June 2009. As a new customer, I was extremely pleased with the outcome. In the past year and a half, I have noticed a DRAMATIC drop in the level of service and quality. My cleaning in February 2012 was horrible and, when they asked for feedback, I let them know all the things that had not been completed. Instead of refunding me or offering to re-clean (as is listed on their website, they offered to upgrade my March cleaning and I accepted that offer. Stupid me. First of all, when I returned home from work last week, they did not do the upgrade as promised. Additionally, the floors were not swept or mopped, the house was not dusted well and there were other items from their checklist that were not completed. As always, after the service, I always get an email for feedback. I sent that email on the same day as the service, but have STILL not got any responses.

I had out-of-town guests coming for a wedding. We had just remodeled the kitchen, so there was sheetrock dust everywhere. The crew of two women arrived promptly and went straight to work. I didn't even have to tell them what to do! They brought their own cleaning supplies and vacuum cleaner. They were quiet and efficient. They cleaned each room thoroughly...ceiling fans, baseboards, wiped down cobwebs and blinds, dusted the furniture and then cleaned the floors. It took four hours, but when they were finished my house looked and smelled clean! The only thing that I noticed later was that, even though the furniture was dusted, they did not dust anything sitting on the furniture. It would have been nice if they had... But YES, I will recommend them and use them again.

This is a good agency cleaning service. The drawback of all agencies is the turnover of staff. It's the reason you can count on someone always showing up, but also the reason you get a constantly changing cleaner. You have to take the good with the bad. Every cleaner who showed up did a good -- to very good -- job of a basic house cleaning. My only real problem was that I need an early cleaning...the first appointment of the day. I can be flexible about the day, but it has to be started by 8:30 so I can get to work. That didn't work well with the agencies arrival window of 8:00 - 10:00 AM.
Description of Work: Bi-weekly house cleaining. Kitchen, bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, etc. Baseboards and inside of appliances are add-on services and not included.

They have a good guarantee, in particular if they don't do it right they will come back and do it again. They are very honest.
