Jeremy is a personable professional who takes pride in his work and guarantees the work for one year. His first visit was on a $99 Angie's Deal, installing two outdoor light fixtures. He came back to check on the installation when I thought the motion-sensor on one of the lights wasn't working. (It actually was.) We then hired him to install the new fluorescent fixtures in our kitchen. He even went to the trouble of locating and buying the correct fixtures to save us a trip (we are in our 70's). The cost includes the fixtures and bulbs he purchased. He applied a $50 Angie's discount. We recommend him highly.

When the remote control failed to operate, he diagnosed the problem. He offered us a choice of installation option to serve in the interim until the manufacturer could correct the problem. I had no complaints about the installation.

We took advantage of the Angie's List deal for a ceiling fan installation for $69. We purchased the fan ourselves, and the electrician came out a couple days later to install it. The installer was very friendly and helpful, and worked very quickly to install the fan. It took him less than 30 minutes to bring down the old one and install the new one. Scheduling the installation was very easy, and the entire experience was very satisfying.

Jeremy was very eager to perform the work, punctual and very fast and efficient in completing the job. He arrived on time (even a few minutes early). He stayed to make sure the light detector would actually go off after it was set for 5 minutes. He was done in less than 30 minutes. Jeremy is very friendly and professional. He has everything in his truck to get the job done so he should rarely have to go to the store to purchase a needed part. I would highly recommend this company.

How did it go? It never got off the ground. Jeremy did not call-back.

Talked to the secretary, who paged the owner. He called and said he was booked, but had someone who could help. That guy called back promptly and scheduled for the morning. 8:00 the owner called back, making sure we were being taken care of. He came on time, figured out the bad breaker, ran for the supplies, and got us cooled down fast. He took the time to talk through our next steps for upgrading the last-legs HVAC, and we'll follow up with him to get a bid (he seemed bright and knowledgeable). Then, the owner called back again, to make sure it all resolved well! Amazing. :-)

We had varied electrical problems in our home and there were a few updates we wanted to make, the installation of new ceiling fans, before we put our house up for sale. Then, after the inspection on our home was completed we found we had even more electrical work that needed to be done that we were unaware of before. We were given Jeremy Clarence’s name (Austin Priority Electric) and were told he was a very good electrician, fair priced, and on time. All of that is true, several times over. When we first call Jeremy he made the appointment and was there at the exact time. He went over the entire electrical part of the inspection and explained exactly what the problem was and what was needed to fix it, and he included the price of everything as he did so. He then gave us time to discuss the options and check with someone else. Because of his knowledge and experience I felt very comfortable that he was more than qualified so it didn’t take much discussion to decide we wanted him to do any electrical work we had. We trusted him. We made an appointment for the actual work and Jeremy was there at the agreed time and had everything done in one afternoon. Then just before we were set to close we had a minor problem with an outlet and I called him to see if he could come and fix it. I knew my husband could do this work, but when you are selling a home you want to ensure you can truthfully say your home is safe because a qualified electrician has completed the work. Jeremy came as soon as I called him and had the repair made in about five minutes. Now we are buying another house and I will again call Jeremy (Austin Priority Electric) for any electrical problems I encounter with it. He is trustworthy, honest, and has integrity….things that are essential when doing business.

We recently bought an older house (built in 1947) that had a few long-neglected issues. None of the outlets were grounded, the aluminum wiring going into the riser had its insulation shredded, etc. We had three companies give us on-site estimates. While Priority Electric wasn't any cheaper than the next guy (it was practically identical), Jeremy had an enthusiasm for his work that the other folks didn't. I'm really glad we we went with him. We scheduled the work for a week or two out. Jeremy and his help showed up on time and plowed through the project. I don't mean that they rushed anything, but they worked really hard to get it done within a fairly short window of time. He explained everything they were doing (because I was interested, not because he was trying to over-share) and really went above and beyond what he was paid for. While this was my first experience working with an electrician (outside of corporate projects), I feel qualified to say it went great. If I could rate this guy higher than an A, I absolutely would. I've already recommended him to everybody I know that might possibly need electrical work. Now this list includes you.

Arrived on time and quickly assessed the jobs. I thought the repairman might just dismiss the lamp repairs, leaving me to replace the expensive items rather than change out small parts. But he'd brought a replacement socket and pull chain along and fixed both the floor lamp and ceiling fan. The ceiling lamp replacement was routine. He was not able to fix the bathroom heater only because it would require a specialized part. But he showed me that the repair would be a plug-in job once the part were located. He simply did a quick, honest, and efficient job and cleaned up after himself (even brought a hand vac). The simple repairs saved me money: I didn't have to throw away a still serviceable floor lamp and ceiling fan. I'll use Austin Priority Electric again.

I started to replace a defective 3 way wall timer. My electrical expertise consists of connecting new red wire to old red wire connection, etc. The new timer had more wires than the old one and the wall box appeared to have several circuits connected together. Yes I did turn off the power. I had used Jeremy before, and decided to call him rather than try to guess my way through the installation. I called about 4:00 PM on a Thurs and left a message. Jeremy returned my call immediately. After telling him about the timer, he suggested that he talk me through the installation.. I installed the timer in the manner Jeremy had told me to but with no success. About the time I decided to call him and tell him no luck, he called me to see how it was going. After telling him what i had done, he said he would come over. That was around 6:30 PM. Jeremy come over and had my timer installed and working in in no time. I highly recommend Jeremy for any electrical job. He is very punctual, and professional. His rates are very competitive.

I called Priority Electric early on a Monday and got an answering service. About 8:30 Am Jeremy called because the service had told him that I had no power, which was incorrect. I had lost power only in the front part of the house. He told me he would try to get to me that day but would definitely get to me the next day. He called around 4:00 and said he would be there shortly. Upon arrival, he immediately tested the breaker panel in the garage. That panel was OK. He then said I had a loose neutral thus creating an open circuit in the entire loop. the only way to find the loose wire was to inspect every switch and outlet affected by the power loss. After inspecting several connection in the house without finding the problem, he started looking in the garage. There he found, tucked away between the garage door openers, an outlet which had a loose neutral. Jeremy was a very pleasant individual who takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend him for electrical repairs.

I found him on Angie's List. The price was a little higher than I expected, but the quality of work was really good. His scheduling was good and he worked around my schedule. He was here when he told me he would be. They cleaned up after themselves.

He was very courteous and the company was very responsive. He wasn’t here very long, only about twenty minutes. He gave me a discount because I got his name from Angie’s List. The price seems like it's about what everyone charges; however, I would always like it to be cheaper.
