I very recently moved to Austin and had only been in my new home for a little over a week, so when the electricity in half the outlets in my kitchen went out I was fairly upset. I tried resetting the GFI button which appeared to reset fine, then I tried turning on and off the breaker to the kitchen, to no avail. Due to a pending delivery, I was working from home and needed someone to come and look at the issue that day, which I knew would be tough on such short notice. After trying a few electricians on Angie's list I finally spoke with Jeremy at JC Electrical. He was wonderful. During our initial conversation he helped me troubleshoot the issue to be sure that it was not something that I could correct myself before spending money to have him come out. When he realized an electrician was needed, he told me that he was on his way to job in Georgetown but could stop by on his way and take a look. He showed up at the time promised and identified the issue within a few minutes. Turns out the GFI outlet in the kitchen was no longer functional and within 15 minutes the work was done. He advised me of the warranty on the work, the life of the part, and despite having a job waiting, he also took the time to give me tips on how to approach electrical issues in the future should I run into problems again. Jeremy is one of the nicest people I have met here in Austin. He was kind, patient and genuine. If I have issues in the future I will definitely call Jeremy again without hesitation. Angie L.

With Jeremy's upfront pricing, I knew exactly what I would be spending. When he arrived, we discussed the placement of the lights since I was replacing an 80's style florescent light box with the LED lights. He wanted to make sure they were in the best possible locations for how I work in the kitchen. Once we got it figured out, he got right to work. He finished quickly and did an excellent job. He was beyond patient with all my questions and never once made me feel silly for asking them. He's also extremely nice and very professional. A please to do business with!

Jeremy was great and I felt the pricing was fair. He explained everything and was very knowledgeable.

He arrived when he said he would , and got right to work after discussing what I wanted and what problems I had been having with the garage outlet. He completed the new outlet and new breaker quickly and cleaned up the small amount of trash, moved the fridge into place again, and then went to do the hall lights. He explained everything including what problems he might encounter, proceeded carefully, and informed me about all steps. He got that job complete quickly, vacuumed up the sheet rock debris and asked me if everything was cleaned to my satisfaction. He was polite, friendly, quick to explain things, and happy t o answer my questions. The two lights were an afterthought I had because he originally was here to do the garage outlet, but he had what he needed in his truck and got right to it. He also gave me a quote on cost prior to proceeding. We plan to call him back in the near future to trade out two more lights that are in a difficult area to access. I had also showed those lights to him and after discussion on how it could be done, he wrote a price quote and left it with me. I was very pleased with his care to detail and his professionalism. If you need an electrician, you could not choose better.

As usual, Jeremy and his crew did a great job; were personable, professional and the cost was reasonable for the amount of time it took for the job.

Jeremy met me at the house on a Friday evening to give me an estimate. I asked when he could do the work and he said he could do it all right then. When he was done, he walked me through his work. When we were in the attic, he discovered an additional old wire that had been damaged, so he went ahead and fixed it at no charge. Jeremy is a Master Electrician who definitely knows his stuff. Very prompt and courteous service!

I had installed a dimmer switch incorrectly for my kitchen light and ended up getting so confused (none of the wires were colored and I didn't know how to tell them apart anymore) that I knew I needed a professionals help. I called a few different companies earlier in the week and was having trouble trying to get someone out before I left town in a week, I even had one company tell me they were booked until November. If I didn't have live wires just hanging out of the wall I wouldn't have been so concerned about getting it done so quickly before I left town. I called Jeremy and he was very nice and professional over the phone. He even offered to help me out over the phone, but I was a little nervous to take this task on without someone here, so he told me he could come out at the end of the day depending on when he finishes his other jobs. I was beyond excited about that, gave him my address and was looking forward to seeing him later. Within the hour he gave me a call and let me know he finished up a job early and saw that I was right around the corner and said he could stop by now if convenient, which definitely worked. He got to work quickly and showed me what I had done wrong, and even got me a quote for recessed lighting since I had mentioned it was something I was looking into doing. All in all I'm very happy with my experience with JC Electrical and will definitely be a repeat customer.

Jeremy was working an hour away from my home but took the time to contact an electrician who could come out within an hour and honor the same pricing agreement. This level of exceptional customer service and going above and beyond for a customer puts him at the top of my go-to list for future projects.

I called him on a Friday afternoon to get an estimate. He came over in less than an hour and gave me a very reasonable price (I expected it to be much more) and we scheduled a date for him to come out to do the work. He was right on time to do the work and even handled extra work while he was on site and we agreed on an extra $50. His attitude and professionalism was off-the-charts good. The work was done completely in an afternoon and totally met my expectations. I would recommend Jeremy and JC Electrical to anyone needing electrical work in Austin. He was terrific.

I'm completely useless when it comes to home improvement and I needed someone to replace a bad light switch and investigate a couple of GFCI outlets that no longer worked. It did take him a couple of days to get back to us but we are glad that we waited. His prices are reasonable and he does great work. Also took the time to explain some things to me about this stuff that I never knew. Will definitely use again.

Called JC Electrical for an appointment and Jeremy was able to come out the same day! He was friendly, knowledgeable and charged a fair price. We will use him for all of our electrical needs and recommend him to everyone we know! A++

I would love to be giving a rave review like everyone else on this page. However, I called on Wednesday morning and spoke to a gentleman about my need to have a portable building wired. He assured me that they do this kind of work but let me know he was stuck on a job at that time. He took my contact information and said that either he or his scheduler would get back to me that day or the next so that I could get a bid and get started as I let him know that I wanted the job done quickly. Unfortunately, neither he nor his scheduler called me back, effectively wasting two full days.

The service turned out fine. They were professional and friendly to work with.

Jeremy receives much praise from us. Not only did he do all of the work with great professionalism, but he was eager to do the work and seemed to be happy about getting the job. When we first called, he stated that he would get back with us in a couple of days with a quote and he followed through. We were very happy with the work that was done and would call him again if needed. Thanks Jeremy!

I also needed him to do further work which required him to crawl under my deck. He had back issues and physically couldn't!

I called JC Electrical after looking at the Histogram and seeing virtually no dissatisfied customers (and reading a few reviews that were all positive) because I needed an electrician after a severe lightning storm in the area. He scheduled me for a certain day and called and came by exactly when he was scheduled for the work. I had him install a whole house surge protector in case of another bad storm like we had just had. I also pulled out a two year old inspection report from when I had bought the house and showed him the suggestions on correcting any electrical problems since I decided I wanted that done while he was here. He went through the house looking at all the plugs and corrected the minor problems and installed the GFCI switches where they were needed. He also replaced dimmer switches that didn't work with the light bulbs I use and I wanted that corrected. Jeremy explained everything as he went along and did not try to suggest work that didn't need to be done. I liked the fact that the person that I talked to on the phone was the person who did the work. Since I am involved with rental property it is very important to get good, honest, hardworking, reliable people that I can use and count on and I will definitely be using JC Electrical again when I need electrical work done.

I've used Jeremy several times before, and he's always bid an honest price, been on time, done the job well, and cleaned up after himself. Having been a contractor in the past, you don't know how rare this is. I strongly recommend his services.

We had JC Electrical services come out and replace 4 energy inefficient lights with new LED motion activated lighting fixtures and are thrilled with the results. Our detached shop/garage had 4 old lighting fixtures on them that used a lot of electricity. We had JC Electrical services come out and take all the old ones done and install new ones. The technician (Jeremy) came out when he said he would and was very helpful. He very quickly changed out the lighting fixtures with the ones that I had purchased from Costco. 2 of the units I had purchased from Costco didn't have all the parts in the box (some screws/nuts etc were missing). Amazing Jeremy was able to find the necessary parts in his supplies and made all the fixtures work - saving me a trip back to Costco to return them and then schedule another trip out for him to install them. I was really pleased that he was inventive/caring enough to do this - we have had repair people in the past roll there eyes in such situations and walk out but not Jeremy - he just did the work and everything was great. He spent time with me showing me how to adjust the timing on the motion sensors and cleaned up after he was completed and made sure I was happy with the job before he left...just a really really pleasant experience. I would most definitely recommend JC Electrical services for anything you need done electricity wise...good service, reasonable prices, strong can-do attitude.

Answered the call on a Saturday an was out within 3 hours. The work was done quickly and professionally. Offered to show me a few tips for some other projects I had coming up. Will definitely be using again.

He can't come out, he keeps giving us excuses why he can't come out. When he finally came, he broke the timer box for the lighting, which we found out the next day. When Jeremy came out and was supposed to fix it he caused the box to short out whenever it rains. He has been giving me problems ever since. He told me not to call him again. Jeremy Clarence is the one who actually cares and really does a great job. He is the one to contact. He is in the process of branching off from this company. I would highly recommend Jeremy Clarence to others. I would give Jeremy all A's.

Called to make an appointment. The young man was so friendly, nice, and accommodating. Was prompt to the appointment. Did an excellent job. Left no mess. I love my recessed lights.

Priority Electric, LLC were real good, they did a great job. He was very fast and efficient and personable. He was really good to deal with. He listens to you and does what you want done. He is very professional. He was here 5 minutes early. I would recommend them, and I would use them again if I had need.
