Would not discount the price even though he has 10% on Angie's List. Also, he said that he quotes high because he is so busy and then tells us that he doesn't want the job. Why waste our time by coming out and quoting if you are too busy to do the job. He has 10% on Angie's List and all I asked for was $200 off a $5400 bid. I DO NOT recommend this company as they are very unprofessional.

Andrew and his crew did an awesome job! Will definitely hire again. Now looking at getting the outside of house painted.

From start to finish, I had a great experience with Gregory Brothers Painting. Andrew was prompt in returning my initial phone call and subsequent e-mails. He called about 1 hour before arriving on time for an estimate appointment. I had two other companies provide estimates and his was very reasonably priced. The day before the job, Andrew e-mailed to confirm the appointment. Today, he and Domingo arrived on time, covered the work area, and worked diligently to get the repair done in a couple of hours. Domingo cleaned up the area after the work was done. From what I can see so far (paint is still drying!), the repaired area blends into the rest of the surrounding ceiling and wall. The door jamb also looks almost as good as new. To top it all off, Andrew repaired another small area of drywall around a ceiling fixture. I did not mention this area to him at all! I would happily hire this company again for future drywall work or painting!

It went extremely well, They showed up on time and took care not to track in dirt. We had moved most of the furniture ourselves, but they helped, cheerfully, with the rest of it. The paint job is totally fantastic! Caulked all the corners, even. My husband was so impressed with the job they did, that he gave them extra money at the end!!!! I have since recommended him to two of my friends who have also used him and they had the same high quality experience. Now they are recommending Andrew Gregory to their friends!

I contacted Gregory Brothers Painting via Angie's List. Andrew responded by email the next day and set up an appointment to provide an estimate within 2 days. He arrived about five minutes early. We looked over the job and discussed in detail what they would do. There were some odd aspects of the wall and he provided me two prices based difficulty of work and desired finish. He told me he would work up a quote and email it to me that night; it was in my inbox by 9pm. He also broke the entire job down into specific prices so I could have him do some, most, or all the work. His crew did a fantastic job on my wall. It was a small job, and it only took a little over half a day, but he treated me like a valued customer. They really did a good job of protecting the house and a lot of office equipment from drywall splatter by putting plastic and drop cloths everywhere! After the project was done and painted, I can not tell where the builder's work ends and Andrew's begins. It's just perfect! I was planning to have him do it all, then I had an unexpected car bill so I did the painting part myself. Andrew did not mind me cancelling the rest of the job at all. He warned me that the French door would be difficult to paint and gave me a few pointers.(he was right, it was hard) I highly recommend Andrew! His estimate was a little higher than some of the others, but I still gave him an A in price, because I think he did superb work for a good price, and you get what you pay for!

It was great and they were excellent. It was like they were never here because they cleaned up really well. The price is right and they did an excellent work. They were really, really on top of it. They came and compared to another quote that I got, they were about the same or better than. They were early.

2nd use of this company, Both absolutely superb A+++. I will look no further on future needs.

They completed the job in a timely manner. They came out professional. I'll use them again. I've no problems with them.

I received an immediate response to my inquiry and had a quote within 24 hours. I was able to schedule my job within two weeks of initial quote. The day of the job the guys were on time, early even, and fully prepared. I left a key and felt totally comfortable because they are insured. Throughout the day I was emailed updates and questions which I loved. The job was no easy task. the colors were super dark and very loud. they covered it perfectly. They installed a fan which was not on the initial quote and took the old one off. When I returned home the areas of work were clean and tidy. The furniture was back exactly and the tv was rehung. I have had lots of painters and done lots of painting myself....these guys are great, knowledgable and professional. Not easy to find in the painting industry nowadays. I will definitely use them again and will recommend to all my friends.

Contractor: Andrew was very responsive and a professional in every sense of the word. From the moment I first met him for an estimate to the point he finished the job and reviewed the repairs with me, he was an absolute pleasure to do business with. His personality was very laid back and put my mind at ease. He didn't talk 'rough'. He didn't give me a sales pitch. He didn't add any 'fluff'. He just explained the problem and what he could do to fix it in simple terms. Job: After taking the time to run the numbers, Andrew emailed me the quote a couple days after our initial meeting. He explained upfront that he was busy and that it would possibly be a couple of weeks before he could get to the job, which I appreciated his honesty for. A couple weeks later, he informed me that it would probably be another week before he could get to me, which was fine as I was still waiting on my insurance company to get the claim through. When Andrew was ready for me, it turned out I had to put him on hold as I was still waiting for my insurance company. He understood and asked to just let him know when I was ready for him. Once the job started, he was there promptly at 9:00am as he said he would and began working. I checked back in with the tenants later that day and was surprised to see Andrew had laid a 3ft wide covering on the tile floor from the front door to the room where the damage was - approximately 75ft in length. The second day, I was not able to check in until the job was finished. Andrew called me with a time to meet, and I notified the tenant we would both be there to review the repairs. The tenant's first words were "It looks absolutely great!" I met Andrew at the house and he showed me the repair. I was expecting to see a nice job with a few imperfections due to the extensive amount of damage that was there before. I was shocked when I saw the repair as there were absolutely no imperfections anywhere. It was like the damage never happened. Andrew then explained that they had some paint left over, so they went ahead and painted the walls of the room as well since a couple of them had some marks and dings. This was extra work not itemized and Andrew did not charge extra for it. He even gave me the left-over paint in the can with the mixture numbers in case I needed it in the future. Overall: Hands down the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. Andrew is one of those rare professionals that truly understands things from a customer's point of view and puts 110% effort into everything he does - from his work, to his communication, to his friendly charm. If I could give him an A+++++ I would.

With price they were a little bit on the high side but we were willing to do it because they were flexible and they did good work. The people that were there communicated well with us which we did not always find to be the case with some of these that we have used. They did some extra things without being asked which we liked and they were able to fit within our schedule. They worked out very fast and they were able to respond and work us in. So all those things were pluses for us and we didn't mind them a little bit more than they would be the cheapest guys on the list.

Do you start with the big guys with the most reviews, or do you scroll down and toss the dice on down the list? I decided to scroll down and Gregory Brothers Painting jumped out at me. Maybe it was because his location is close to my home. Did I hit on a gem with this company! I knew within 5 minutes of talking with Andrew that he was my guy for this job. He knew what he was talking about. I have a decorative plaster and faux finishing business, so I know a good painter when I see one. And there are lots of average painters out there, but very few great painters. Andrew Gregory definitely falls into the great category. I will have to admit he was not my lowest bid, but I fall into the "you get what you pay for" category. Usually I am never completely satisfied with the final product when I have work done at my home. That was was not the case with Gregory Brothers. Andrew is worth every dollar you will spend. This guy has an eye for the details and takes great pride in his work. He was prompt to call me back when I initially contacted him, and made an appointment to come by and see my job the next day. We were in the the process of repairing interior cracks from foundation issues which involved new drywall work and plaster. I needed the painter to be able to fit into the schedule between drywall and a new window installation. Andrew assured me he could make that happen, and he followed through on the promise. In fact, Andrew and Angel when far beyond what I has asked them to do for me. He did little fine tuning tweeks that the majority of painters out there would not even think of doing. I know he does referral work for Louis Shanks, so that should tell you volumns about his quality of work. He and his crew were on time, neat and clean, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I would not think twice about using Gregory Brothers Painting again in the future. I had him come back a few days later and look at some trim paint repairs that I need after the window install, so I will be having him do that job for me soon. Yes you might spend just a little more for his quality of work, but you will not be disappointed when he is completed with the job and you hand him a check.

I hired Andrew Gregory's company because his bid was very clear and included several options for the work that was to be done. This was going to be a fairly extensive project and Andrew worked patiently with me to flesh out all the details. I also liked his communication style and his personality. Andrew and his crew delivered excellent work. In sum, I would describe Andrew Gregory as a very competent painter, excellent communicator, and a man with a lot of integrity. I would hire his company again in a heart beat. Hiring him was the best hiring decision my husband and I made during our new house remodeling. Andrew and his crew were all very polite while they were working on our house. They worked hard and delivered very good work. Andrew always made sure he involved me in the decisions that had to be made, be it the type of texture, type of paint, or the order in which work was to be done. Andrew was very easy to communicate with. He was honest about what was possible and what was not. He explained why certain things were best done in a certain way. He was absolutely amazing. And his pricing was fair and reasonable. I loved working with him. Andrew is one of a kind, and I feel very fortunate that he was the man who did our extensive paint work. I am very happy with how things turned out. Our house looks beautiful inside and outside!

Andrew Gregory (owner) was most polite, timely, efficient and paid close attention to detail. His trained eye noticed places that needed caulk that we had not seen. When we needed to contact Mr. Gregory between the initial walk around to the first day of work, he was available to answer our call or returned our call in just a short time. Andrew and his employees went beyond what we were expecting. They were an exceptional group of men to have work at our home. We will also hire Gregory Brothers Painting to paint the interior of our home.

Andrew came out and gave me an estimate which was lower than I got from anyone else. It took me almost two months to decide on colors and once I did I contacted Andrew and he came out that same week. The painting went great. Andrew showed up on time with his crew and started work right away. the work was done over two days and it came out great. the lines are all perfect on the bull nose edges and locations where two colors came together. After they were done they cleaned everything so well that I think the house looked nicer than it did before they got there.

This is a very detail-oriented, professional, careful, and pleasant company to work with. The bid I received from them detailed all they would do, including two optional repair jobs. I have vaulted ceilings in my living room and master bedroom. Where the beams meet the ceiling and walls Andrew (the estimator and crew boss) suggested caulking those lines to give the paint edge a cleaner look. He also noted all the stress cracks and explained how they would repair them. Those two details won him the bid. The estimated price was a little lower than the other two bids I received, but this company's estimate was the most comprehensive. The job took 5 days with a crew of 4 or 5 workers. All the workers were very pleasant. Because the whole house was done, it was a gigantic mess with furniture moved here and there, drop clothes over things and floors. That's just the way a job like this is. The nice thing was that they did the master bedroom and adjoining bath in one day so my husband and were able to sleep in our bedroom at the end of each day. This company was very concerned with keeping the mess from plaster dust and repairs under control. They uncovered most things at the end of each day and picked up all the drop clothes. They also swept the floor and mopped the bare floors that had debris on them. At the end of the job they even cleaned my wood railing to the upstairs and would have waxed it if I had let them. Really! That's going above and beyond! The repairs and painting was superb. Where they removed the light box on my kitchen ceiling they perfectly matched the ceiling knock-down texture. They also installed a three pendant-light fixture in my kitchen where they removed the neon light. Again, a great job. In addition to that they put new trim around a new attic ladder we had put in. All the rooms and ceilings received two coats of paint and I used 5 different colors in various rooms. They removed all the wood blinds and rods and then reinstalled them. All in all, I would strongly recommend this company and will definitely use them in the future!

I called and left a message. I week later I emailed him. No response to either. I understand if he's too busy but he should respond anyway to show that he's a professional.

They were punctual and very polite. They did a few things that we initially hadn't talked about. They didn't charge me for that either. They couldn't have been more friendlier. They were very diligent in their work. They made sure that they didn't mess up my house. They did an excellent job. They answered all my questions.

I have used Andrew(Gregory Brothers Painting) on several projects on my personal home, my parents home and on client homes. On this job, Andrew scraped the ceiling to remove popcorn, painted the ceilings, walls and wood work. He also pressure washed the exterior. His crew is always friendly and professional. Andrew supervises and does some of the work himself. His pricing was reasonable and the quality of the work was excellent. Andrew provided the bid fast. He started the job on time and completed the project as scheduled. Andrew(Grgory Brothers Painting) is a contractor that you can trust to treat you fairly, do a professional job and that you will want to use again.

Andrew with Gregory Brothers Painting is a talented guy - the paint job he did for our media room is literally perfect, we're so impressed. Highly recommended and at fair prices, too. Very good at communications, one of the best out there. Don't hire anyone else, hire Gregory Brothers and get it done right.

They completed both jobs very quickly. They make really good ceiling lines; the lines are very clean and very nice.

Was a great experience. Andrew did many extras which I really appreciated! He made sure his men did everything flawlessly. And of course Andrew is a perfectionist himself!

As you can imagine, I wanted the patch, texturing and painting to be perfect or almost perfect. Andrew did a great job and the cleanup was as if they had never been there.

The job went very well. They arrived on time and finished in the time he had estimated. Furthermore, they were very easy to have in the house. Andrew was knowledgeable about the kind of paint we should use and let us use his discount when buying it. He was also very patient in answering questions, and always responded when I e-mailed him. He offered to come back if we needed anything. We will absolutely use him again, and I have been giving his card to my friends. No reservations about recommending him!! The only hitch was him getting here for the estimate, but his work more than made up for that small problem.

Andrew returned my call within an hour and came by 30 min. later on his way home from another job to check out our job. He felt he could work us in between two larger jobs.--had an estimate to us later that Friday evening. We accepted and he and his crew came Monday morning to show us samples and start the work. They protected everything that they worked around or walked on. They were a congenial group. We heard no swearing or off-color language. There was no wasted time, and they were able to finish in one day. They cleaned up every bit of mess, even to washing some white debris off the driveway. We are pleased with the quality of their work. We will definitely call them again.
