Geek Squad - Best Buy

HORRIBLE Went into Best Buy to go to Geek Squad desk & after waiting in line was told I could ONLY SCHEDULE over phone. Called and after long wait times was able to get a person & sched appt. Received 2 emails and a text message verifying and reminding of appt BUT ON DAY OF APPOINTMENT NO ONE SHOWED OR CALLED. Took 2 days to get a person to talk to Rescheduled for 4 days later - same situation -received emails/texts but once again after taking the entire day to stay home on day of appointment NO ONE ONCE AGAIN CALLED OR SHOWED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Unfortunately I am forced to start this process over AGAIN TODAY as my TX is under warranty with Best Buy. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE BUY ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY

Showed up on time and did excellent job of mounting TV, hooking everything up and setting up system.

It was good. The only problem was getting the date scheduled for the installation. When I bought the dishwasher I requested a morning installation and the teller said that she couldn't put it in the computer as such. So when they called me about the installation they said they were coming in the afternoon, and I said I couldn't do that. So I had to wait about another week to get the installation done in the morning.

I wanted to purchase a higher end dishwasher but was willing to buy a item that was returned or "scratch/dent" in exchange for a discount. They had a unit that was just returned marked down and they were also running a sale on new dishwashers. I asked if they could apply the sales discount on the marked down unit that was already marked down due to it being a returned item. The sales person said no....however when I asked a manager he said "sure...no problem". They sent out an installer to install it and they did a great job. They found some problems with the counter installation which caused a problem for the installation but they fixed that at no charge and I was good to go. Great installer...very willing to go the extra mile. Wish all installers had his attitude.

They had poor customer service. They did not care to service anyone unless you were there with a computer. They had a "don't bother" us attitude. I waited a half hour and no one acknowledged me. I left.

The product was delivered damaged. The company agreed to make it right, but when the people arrived to change out the microwave and ventihood, they stated that they were just the delivery people and not the installer. All they had to do was switch the two out, as the installer from the original delivery had basically done all the work. The installer was supposed to call before arrival to assure we were at the house, but didn't. I missed them by no more than two minutes (admittedly my fault) on the second installation attempt, but since they did not leave a message, I waited around all day for them to show up before calling them and finding out they weren't coming. Customer service at Best Buy was rude. In essence, I have been trying for three weeks to get this properly installed and now , it still Is not right. Ive asked for my money back, and will never buy from them again.

It was great. The Geek Squad agent was on time, professional, nice to my dogs! He did a very good job, was polite, and worked quickly. My computer is now running correctly and is fast again. I was very happy with their work and would call them again.

THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND HAD VERY HELPFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE IN WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. QUALITY WAS OF THE HIGHEST STANDARD.
