Emerald Lawns

The service for the big deal for Emerald Lawns for 25 dollars for fertilization and broad leaf weed spot treatment was okay. They up-sold me, it was an annual thing and it was 150 dollars or something so the whole thing was maybe 200 dollars. It didn't work. I don't know, it just didn't work so I stopped the service.

Our representative, Chris, was prompt and responsive in assessing our yard. We received a detailed estimate and the work was completed as scheduled and promptly to our satisfaction. They were easy to deal with and very professional.

They showed up on time every time. My yard is green as ever.

From the first appointment when the salesman/technician arrived, I felt good about the company. He was polite, professional, friendly, and--above all--knowledgeable. Although they are based in another city, they have recently begun servicing customers in my town. What I appreciated about the salesman was that he took me around my yard to explain the different weeds, so that I would know what was being treated and when. He has done this with me twice, as I had questions after the first application. We were able to get a reduced rate on the services, by prepaying the entire amount. There is also a senior discount and a military discount. You cannot get both, but you can get one or the other, if applicable, on top of the prepayment discount. Emerald Lawns also provides service calls, at customer request, in between scheduled visits. They have been very good about this, as I needed them to come out once after the initial application. My scheduled day for visits is Friday, at a pre-scheduled interval. If it rains on that day, they will come out the following week. The only thing I've been frustrated with is their office staff. Because they've only recently begun service in my area, the office staff hasn't been as knowledgeable about scheduling as they should have been. The salesman/technician gave me his direct number and said I could direct questions to him if needed, which I have done. Overall, I am happy with their services and with the way my lawn is shaping up this spring.

They were prompt, professional, and did a great job with the aeration. They had asked us to mark the sprinkler heads before the service and we were able to mark some of them, but didn't get around to all of them. They were careful and we didn't have any issues with broken sprinkler heads.

The office manager told me they will not give me a 48 hour notice of when they will come out to spray, so I have given them my days off, but they called tonight asking for permission to come in the morning giving me a little over 12 hours of notice. I need them to notify me at least 48 hours prior to spraying for weeds or to go by my days off.

They came and fertilized and weed spot treatment. Very nice people, he informed me what to look for that the weed will turn brown. It never did turn brown, probably because he came when it was misty rain outside. I told them I didn't want them to come until after March 20th but they came within a week of me purchasing the Big Deal.

Did what they committed to doing at a very reasonable cost.

They are doing my lawn and I like them very much. I’m just satisfied.

Jim was both the sales representative and the technician who did the aeration. He outlined all the services available through Emerald Lawns on the first visit and explained that the other services could be accessed when we were ready. Since we only wanted the basic aeration, we scheduled a day and time for Jim to come out. Work was done efficiently within an hour. Jim was skilled in operating the aeration machine and I am pleased to say we are seeing the great results already. We will have them back next year.

The gentleman who called to schedule the aeration explained the process and what to do in preparation. The rain caused a change of date and were rescheduled without any delay. On the day before the aeration we received a confirmation call. When the gentleman arrived, he rang the doorbell to inform me that he would be starting the work. The job was performed as well as expected. Emerald Lawns has friendly and polite employees.

Total farse. Not what was advertised and agreed to on Angies List.

They are very responsive when I call and always take care of the lawn when they say they will. Their prices are very reasonable.

I am quite pleased with them. We have been using them about 3 years. They are very professional and will knock on your door and you can walk around with them and point out weeds and flowers. They are willing to do the job as you wish it to be done.

They showed up when they said they would did a good job of aeration as best I could tell. Did not leave a mess or cause any damage to sprinklers. I also decided to use them for weed control/fertilization ongoing. They always call the day before as I requested since I need to have the dog in the house. The tech is professional and courteous. They are also proactive. When they saw I was starting to have an issue with some weeds in a specific area they came out and treated them separately a couple times for them to go away. I would recommend them. I guess my only real "complaint" and it not that big of a deal to me is their billing process. They really don't have an online billing system. You are able to make payments online but there is no way to see how much you owe. If you want to pay online you need to know how much you owe or guess at it. Overall I am 100% satisfied with this provider.

The service is good. The workers are good. It takes about fifteen minutes to fertilize. They have their own schedule to follow. They come out about every six weeks for the duration of the program. They do eight applications. This is my third year for using them.

The service went fine. I use them for regular lawn service about 7 times a year also. I paid an additional fee to have them cover all of my lawn since my lawn was bigger than the coupon offer. One technician came out and completed the job in about 45 minutes. He was polite and made sure to completely cover the lawn. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

We call them when we need them and they come out. We pay $50 every month. They are very prompt. They don’t come if we don’t need them and we don’t have to have a contract. They came when they said they would. We are about to call them back because of the weeds. They are supposed to come out if we have some issues and take care of it. So far it’s been just fine.

Services delivered as promised. Great results already :)
