Description of Work: LAWN AERATION. ONE COMPLAINT AND I ADMIT I DID NOT INQUIRE ABOUT THIS BEFOREHAND. AFTER AERATION ALL THE LITTLE PLUGS WERE LEFT IN THE GRASS AND WHAT A MUDDY MESS AFTER WATERING THE LAWN. I THINK THE JOB SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED REMOVAL OF THE PLUGS. WE GET BIG GLOBS OF MUD ON THE SOLES OF OUR SHOES EVERY TIME WE WALK IN THE YARD.

Description of Work: lawn treatment and will do aeration in future which is what i purchased on ANgies LIst for appx $59. Arrived within time period and we will see how the lawn is doing this spring. i did sign up for their service, which is $42 per treatment.

Description of Work: I purchased an aeration deal from Angie's List for $55. Yvette came to my house on 9/22/14 to measure and discuss the other services offered by Emerald Lawns. Because my yard was large, it cost $65 for the aeration which I still thought was reasonable. Their other lawn care services include adding pre-emergent, fertilizer, etc. to customers' yards at the appropriate times of the year on a regular schedule. I was interested in that program but I'm currently involved in several other projects that are priorities. A few days after Yvette did the measuring, another gentleman came to do the actual aeration. It took him about an hour to complete the job. Both of those folks were friendly, knowledgeable, and readily answered questions. I was very happy with the service and would use the company again in the future.

Description of Work: I hate to be harsh... these people were 'nice', but as a lawn service, the only impact they had was on my wallet. I gave it a year and followed their advice re: mowing/watering/applying peat moss to a 'T'. One year in, my front lawn looked no better than any neighbors', and my back yard had slowly, but surely, all but disappeared. Ironically, the last note they left on my door said "lawn looks GREAT!" - not sure whose lawn they were viewing. I wrote them an e-mail and received NO response... hence the low rating on responsiveness and professionalism. Hey - otherwise, they were great - but I'm left to look for a service who'll bring my lawn back to life and stand behind their service.

Description of Work: I have used Emerald Lawns for several years and am pleased that they will offer an Angie's list deal for current customers. They have done an aeration for my yard for the last two years. My yard looked better than ever this past summer in spite of the drought and no watering other than that allowed by the city.

Description of Work: The "deal" was for lawn aeration. They did a great job. They also gave me an estimate for ongoing lawn maintenance (fertilization, weed control, etc) and tree and shrub service. I was very impressed with them and their program, so I signed up.
