Timely, friendly Luke gave me good advice and what to do and not do for my new lawn and older trees

Hard to tell if treatments were effective. I picked the worst drought year in history to pay for a lawn maintenance service.

We are on a yearly contract and have been happy with them. Their pricing seems reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

I got them off Angie's List. I called them out because I am having a big party. I was having some problems with my front yard because of the heat down here. They came out and they were very nice. They told me what was going on and they put some peat moss on it. I did use my Angie's List discount coupon. They were up front with me and told me it was going to be a slow process. There would be treatments throughout the year. I haven't heard from them anymore. I don't know if they come back when the treatment is ready. They came out, told me what the deal was, put the peat moss, and sent me a bill. I sent them the check and I have not heard from them. I haven't called them because I was busy. I thought I will see if they come back and do another treatment. If I never hear from them again, then I can only say that they were nice and told me the problem, but that I haven't heard from them. Right now I would have to say that they did what they said they were going to do. The price I paid was with maybe a 20 percent discount. They did give me some discount. They were fine. I had a onetime experience to go by. They did answer my call when I called them and they were very nice to me. I would consider using them for now.

They tell me what they are going to do and then they do it. They give me a heads up the day before they come. That works conveniently for me because I know when they are going to come. The lawn has been decent since I gave them the contract.

First of all I must say that we have had issues with our lawn since we moved here five years ago. We've had three other individuals who said they could "treat" weeds, or that we best learn to live with the weeds because "this used to be a pasture". Our prior lawn services charged about the same as Emerald lawn and we never saw positive results. The price we paid was for a yearly contract (yes, we were desperate, yes we trust Angie's List, and yes we decided to trust Emerald Lawns as a result and we're very glad we did). We have had a completely different experience with Emerald Lawns! They are extremely polite, professional, and after just 6 weeks our lawn looks like a whole new lawn! It is amazing! We have very few weeds, it is lush and green and looks beautiful! We are aware that after fertilizing most lawns will improve, but not only has ours improved, the weeds are nearly gone. We have had other weed treatments, yearly contracts for pre-emergent etc. but nothing ever changed the way the lawn looked and within 2-3 weeks the weeds were back with a vengeance! We had Emerald Lawns aerate the lawn first (they recommended) and we also had them apply the fire ant treatment which is supposed to last a year. We haven't seen a fire ant, and as I said the lawn is so much better! If our lawn can look this good after just a few weeks we're looking forward to continued improvement. We think we'll continue to see improvement and if anything changes we will report back after more time has passed

I have been using Emerald Lawns since late last summer. In this short period of time I have seen a tremendous improvement in the appearance of the turf in my yard. Since Luke's initial assessment (which was pretty bleak, but seemed reasonable considering the condition of the grass at that time), their treatments appear to be on target for addressing the problems. While the yard is not back to optimal condition, the progress to date seems to advancing much more rapidly than I had anticipated. Luke cautioned that it would take some time for the yard to get back to good health, so I wasn't expecting an instant turn around, but things have been progressing nicely. I am impressed with the reasonableness of their prices, the services they offer and especially by the fact that on several occasions they have come out and done small treatments for no charge. I am also impressed with the quality of Luke's technicians, particularly Jose Luis. I have used a large commercial lawn fertilizing service in the past and was highly underwhelmed. Emerald Lawns shows there are still good people in this business.

I found them through Angie's List. I thought they were very competitively priced. The gentleman who came out was very professional and thorough. They did a really good job and we got exactly what we paid for.

With Emerald Lawns help, my lawn is now lush and weed free. I have been with them probably 1 1/2 years and will continue to use them as long as I own this house.

Owner made appointment, arrived time, assessed my needs and didn't try to sell more than I needed. My service started this week and I am very pleased.

They provided great service. We have called with questions and they always answer. Will continue using them for our lawn. It has never looked this good!

They have been here four times and the lawn has gone from spotty grass with many weeds to lush green grass.

We have been using Emerald for lawn services for a year now and are very happy with them. They have really helped us get our lawn back in shape after our horrible neglect of it last summer. Unfortunately, our backyard was so bad we had to put down sod. We got a couple different estimates but as always, Emerald's was the most reasonable. Our backyard now looks fantastic and we are concentrating on getting our front yard up to our standards. I cannot recommend them enough. They have been professional, reasonable, and best of all - they've been affective.

Everything was wonderful. The owner came out and looked at the grass with me. We recieved a discount for our first treatment since we are Angie's List members, which was great.

We have hired them, but haven?t yet got the first service done. My husband was happy with them. They were on time and they may come out any day now to get the work done.

They were highly rated on Angie?s List and they were phenomenal. I would rate them highly too.

The difference is amazing!!! Our yard is looking the best it ever has!! The customer service is fantastic. Luke is wonderful and very responsive to customer needs. Wonderful to deal with. We have no issues with brown patch, which had been a major issue in the past (even in dry years). We didn't even use brownpatch applications (I had to use these in the past). The key is changing the fertilizaiton mixture to prevent issues.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. Their pricing is reasonable as well. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

The owner seems knowledgeable and they do very good job. The price is comparatively very reasonable.

They are very good. They are still doing what they are supposed to do and we will find out more about their work as the year unfolds. I am satisfied with their services this far.

Luke came out the same day we called to look over the yard. Seemed like an honest guy. He walked us through the yard and explained what really needed to be done vs things that would fix themselves over time. We have had two applications done on our yard and the yard is starting to look better. His rates per application were quite similar to other quotes we got (around $50+tax per application), but we hired Luke due to his reviews on Angie's List, and also his professionalism.

Our lawn was out of control so we had them come check it out. They were very nice and courteous. Two different guys came out and we were happy with the work them.

I don't know yet. Luke convinced me that he would personally work with me to make my lawn healthy again, based on his 15 years of experience working for his competitors. He's local and the owner so I chose to do business with him directly. So far, he's done a few extra things to earn the business and he's timely with follow ups.
