The representative was knowledgeable and explained the companies services in detail. The technician was proficient, came prepared and completed the application quickly.

Estimator came by and took a look around and recommended a plan. He scheduled services and I received a call that evening telling me when they would be by. Pest and fertilizer crew came first and the next day the aeration crew. They left confirmation of the work done on the front door. Easy to deal with. Will use again.

I purchased the $25 coupon for weed control after reviewing the companies website. There, they claim to serve the "greater Austin area". However, the following week I received a call stating that they do not go to Manor. Being closer to Round Rock (where the business is located) than many many areas in "greater Austin", I can't help but wonder why Manor is off limits. It's too bad ... with my new Tifsport Bermuda lawn being across from the model home in my still being built neighborhood they could have gotten tons of referrals from my existing and soon to be neighbors.

I didn't know that they fertilized. They could have left a note or called. Aeration incomplete. They are redoing.

We've had challenges with our lawn since our house was built in 2007. The soil was not prepped prior to sodding and the actual sod leaves much to be desired. Drainage issues combined left us with a weedy, weak lawn. After meeting with several consultants, we knew we needed to aerate and add dirt, so we purchased a "Big Deal" for aeration for $50. When scheduling the appointment, I asked about topsoil and arranged for them to do that in addition to the aeration. The team was so repsponsive and did such a good job, that we signed up for their annual fertilization and weed treatment service which brought our total with Emerald to roughly excluding the "Big Deal" purchase. The folks at Emerald hand pull weeds as well as spot treat, and our lawn this year has never looked better. We will definitely continue with Emerald and hope they don't get so many clients that they lose their "mom & pop" appeal. Thanks!

I purchased a special offer through Angie's list to aerate my yard. They were quick to contact me and set up a service date. They came on the day they said they would. They did a thorough job and closed my fence gates afterward. They followed my instruction to avoid the area where the TV cable is buried since it is only three inches below the surface. I learned my lesson because I cut it once aerating my yard. Aerating has been the best thing I have done for my yard. The cost to rent an aerator and the wear and tear on your body from doing it makes $50 a great deal!

The service has been good, but we have not had the work done yet. I have purchased two Big Deals. They have been very communicative and proactive.

emerald lawns were prompt with there analysis of lawn condition. initial application of weed control and fertilizer was about a week later, but was not adequate. a few weeks later another technician returned and agreed that a reapplication was necessary and did so. however he left a $50.00 invoice on my door. the landscape manager contacted me a week or two later and said that invoice was a mistake and he personally came out and reapplied a liquid weed control on two separate occasions without charge. did i say my yard was in really pitiful bad shape, but now i have a greening lawn. we have aeration and other applications planned soon at reasonable rates and i would recommend their services.

Simple service they did not make a mess and aerated the lawn as they said they would.

Emerald Lawns performed all lawn care bought in an outstanding manner. This included top dressing/aeration service, application for grub worms, and 6 lawn applications for a healthy lawn. The owner and all employees were very helpful in improving my lawn and made appropriate recommendations for needed services. Charges were reasonable. Would definitely continue using this company.

They lawn aeration was adequate only. Their interest is continued fertilization and lawn care (go figure).

slow to get it scheduled but there had been periods of rain

I purchased a Groupon for Lawn Aeration services from Emerald Lawns, they did an excellent job. Although I expected to have to wait a while to schedule the service, I contacted Emerald Lawns via email, within a day I recevied a response explaining that they had a huge response to their Groupon offer and it would take them a few days to contact me for scheduling. As per their email, I received a call within 3 days to schedule the service. Within a week, they were here and did an excellent job. In addition to aeration, they also performed an analysis on my lawn making recommendations which was very helpful. I appreciate their efforts and the fact they weren't pushy. This was a company that actually delivered what they advertised in a professional manner, unlike many experiences I have had w/service companies in Austin, they were responsive, they actually seemed to want my business.

No hard-pressure follow-up sales pitch, just description of firm's services, pricing, and invitation to consider. I'd definitely use them again, or would consider very seriously if I were contracting yard services.

Too soon to tell, but I believe lawn is improving in general

They took our lawn from mostly dead to beautiful and keep checking on it to provide weed eradication. This company is great to work with. They come when they say they will and call if they won't. Best contractors I've had experience with in a long time.

I beleive the weed and feed was done quite well and I was able to mee the tech on his second visit. He willingly walked the yard with me and took note of some of my yeard's special features that he was going to take care of, even came back a few weeks later to add to the weed control...a very nice gesture that was not requested by me yet definitely indicated that he rtook the results of my yard as his own professional work. Bed mulching was done on time and within what we had discussed. The only issue i have is that some of the flowers and ivy are missing...not certain if they werecovered up (yet I did check for this) or mistakenly pulled up thinking they were weeds. The main tech appeared knowledgable, the helper appeared to have a low level of knowledge.

It went great. They did a little extra and spoke to us about some trees and our irrigation. They showed up on time, worked quickly, and were perfectly pleasent. Would use again.
