The technician was prompt, polite and performed the service in a timely fashion. He called me ahead as promised. The work was complete and to specifications.

They come out to do a free analysis and the guy that came out and talked to us was very knowledgeable about all things yards, the type of grass, they type of weeds and so on. He talked about other services that they could provide for us if we ever needed them. He said they would be out the next week and they did. The gentleman who did the treatments for us was very professional and respectful. They left the invoice for us under the door and they have the online payment service, which is really nice. This was the first service so we haven't seen the results of it, but the weeds aren’t as tall as they were before so that is good. We have an annual contract so we are definitely going to use them again.

They are excellent. I like their communication, price, and promptness.

Came for the Big Deal to do a lawn fertilization and treatment. Person came to check out lawn, I mentioned I wanted the front lawn redone. Wrote me an estimate on the spot. I was very impressed with how professional she was. Emerald Lawns came and did the treatment on time and efficiently. I called to set appointed for front lawn. Came on time and was again very professional. So impressed, I also signed up for their every six week treatment service.

It was an overall excellent experience. I plan to get on full service in the future.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. The service was great and as expected. They showed up on time. They were quick and thorough. They gave me an estimate on some other services and haven't followed up on it, but I was pleased with the work they did. I would give them a high rating. I spent around $60-$70. There was no dislikes. The technician seemed very competent. The pricing was attractive.

It went very well, I would purchase this service from them again.

Note: This review has been revised to reflect the companies excellent response to my original review. Originally, my weeds didn't die. I called and asked for a repeat treatment and they said 'ok', but weeds still didn't die. I originally gave them a poor review. Then the owner saw the review and he showed up in person the next day and assured me he would keep after my yard until the weeds were dead. I must say that I wish every business I worked with stood behind their work like this one. I am very impressed and now highly recommend using this company. If you want to keep your yard in good condition then you should contract with them for continued service.

This is the second review. One day after I submitted my first review, Emerald Lawn called me. They explained that there was misunderstanding and offered another free service. A service technician just came and provided a service. He was very courteous. Although I haven't checked their performance yet, I am satisfied with their responsiveness to my concern. I'll use Emerald Lawn again if there's any need.

Professional, courteous staff was quick to call me to arrange an appointment for services. Lawn technician was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and made suggestions to improve my lawn. I had a lot less weeds as a result of his advice this spring!! Would highly recommend.

I called and set an appointment with them. They arrived on the time they said. They gave me a call to remind me of the appointment, which I appreciated. They did the job as described and returned as few days later to check out how the weeds were responding. Then a few days later they called and came out again to re-treat the weeds. Wow was I surprised. I thought that I would only receive one visit for the price I paid. They called again to let me know that again they were coming out to check how the weeds were responding and re-treat if necessary. All in all they were out three times to make sure everything was working right. They are very thorough. They are a keeper and I will use them in the future.

Emerald Lawns has been providing fertilizing services for my lawn for the last year and a half and have always done an excellent job. They are very responsive if there are any issues with weed treatment etc. The lawn looks good.

I bought their Big Deal coupon. Nothing really stood out, the work was kind of as I expected. There is nothing negative in my comment. One thing is that a lot of people do not call back when they say they do but Emerald Lawns did; they were prompt. Dealing with them as a company was great and their work turned out to be great as well. They were nice people; they were friendly, helpful, and to the point.

Excellent and timely service.

I scheduled an appointment with emerald lawn for top soil and compost plus aeration in spring to kick start the health of my grass. I saw the work that was done by the neighbors and they involved 3 hours of manual labor. I was at work when Emerald lawn came adn did my yard. My dad who was at home told me with alarm that the Emerald lawn person completed the job in 20 or so minutes ! Naturally I was paranoid and called them from work. They explained they have a machine to do this spreading in a even fashion and the soil has already been added to the machine before arrival, so you cannot really see the pile of dirt in front of your home. I came home in the evening and was impressed that soil has been spread out very very evenly compared to my neighbors. So overall, I was happy, but my only gripe is, if they are using a machine and if it takes them 20 mins to do a lawn, I would expect a discount in the price compared to the manual labor. Of course they are not obligated to give a discount, but doing so would make me a repeat customer that much faster.
