Service was easy to schedule, performed professionally and on time. Analysis of lawn was performed with recommendations for care (adding mulch, adding soil where it had eroded, etc) and I was impressed enough with their services that I've signed up for their annual service of 8 various applications throughout the year. Very pleased.

The lawn was put in 37 years ago with St. Augustine grass when we built the home. It had lost its former healthy beauty, with a variety of weeds, wild grasses, and stickers invading, and an unhealthy color overall. Emerald's representative walked the yard with me, naming the various invading weeds and grasses, and explaining what the Company would do to rid the lawn of the invaders, and what they recommended for Spring and Fall. The first visit was for the aeration, then the lawn treatment on the second visit. Within two weeks I could tell a difference in the lawn. Now, less than a full month later the lawn is truly an "emerald green," so much so that the young man with the lawn sprinkler service commented that our lawn and one other had the healthiest and darkest green St. Augustine grass he has seen. The lawn is flourishing, so much so that instead of having it mowed every other week, we now have to have it mowed every week, which we are happy to do! Emerald saved our lawn.

So far, so good! Look forward to continued good service with this company.

Bought an Angie's list big deal. They called me and scheduled service within the week. Work was done well.

They did a great job, yard looks great

Everything was fine. They were prompt when I called them and I did not have any problems with them.

Emerald Lawns I have been very happy with them. My lawn looks great. I use them quarterly. They come out quarterly. They came out last time about a month or two a go. They due back in a month or two. I have been very happy with them. My lawn looks good so I hired them to do it quarterly. They are charging I think it's around with tax it's $38.97. They came out in April, April 16th was the last time. They have been fine to work with. If I have weeds or things in between, I've called them and they come out and treat them. You know you can have things pop in in between. So they have been very cooperative. Very helpful.

So far, so good. Emerald Lawns has come out and done an aeration on my grass (per my request) and followed up that service with the weed control and lawn fertilization. It's too early to tell if my grass is going to have a big turn around but so far I've been happy with them an would have no problem recommending them to anyone wanting these types of lawn services.

The process took two visits. The first was to check if the aeration machine could fit through a fence gate. The actual aeration was scheduled for Thursday 5/9 (3 weeks after the first visit). I watered the night before as instructed. Bad weather forced a cancellation on 5/9. The expectation was for it to be rescheduled for 5/10, but apparently the weather was still too bad. I had no further contact from the company after the initial cancellation. The work was finally completed on 5/13. According to my wife, the technician blocked the driveway with his equipment. It would have been nice to get a call saying that the work was rescheduled for 5/13 after the second apparent cancellation. That way I could have told my wife to expect the work and I could have watered again.

Emerald Lawns person came by and provided an evaluation and quote for signing up for their service, which includes 8 or so visits per year to provide fertilizer and weed control. I requested aeration and top dressing to help the yard get some nutrients and survive the heat better than it did last year. I got a confirmation email, listing the services that we had discussed. Emerald Lawns also called me prior to their first visit. They applied fertilizer and weed killer on the first visit. They used a leaf blower to clean the sidewalk after applying the fertilizer. I could see a response to the weed killer by the next day or two, with the weed leaves curling up. The next day they came by and did a thorough job of aerating the yard and applying a generous top dressing with Dillo Dirt. The small yard and patio makes it hard to maneuver equipment, and they used a wheelbarrow to provide top dressing in the areas where the machine-driven applicator couldn't reach. They leave special instructions on the receipts, like advice to water heavily after the top dressing. I was told that if there were any issues to give them a call and they would make a visit. The people involved in both treatments were polite and professional, and their trucks are clean and branded. They left a receipt with the person's name and time of day written on it. I was able to pay the bills using a credit card through their Web site, and got a receipt from them in email. So far so good. I'm happy that the yard is finally getting some professional care, and we'll see how it responds over time.

The $25 Big Deal is primarily a vehicle for them to give you an estimate for annual service. That actually works out into a $50 discount if you sign up, which I did, so that's fine.

I did not notice any improvement in my lawn, tree's nor shrubs after their services. Plus they seriously tried to up-sell products and or services.

Excellent as always. On time, On Task, Excellent Communications, Competitively Priced

First of all it was difficult to get someone, and actual person, to answer the phone, EVER. After leaving numerous messages, someone finally called back and told us they would come by and do an evaluation and the weed/feed treatment. They did come by and left an evaluation of the yard's condition and what they did. We decided to use their services for grub treatment and aeration. Again called, got a machine and they never called back, even after leaving several messages. Finally, they called and said they were coming on Thursday to aerate the lawn and we needed to soak the lawn the night before. We called back and told them that we would need to reschedule as our water day was Sunday, we were not allowed to water any other day. Again with the messages and waiting for someone to call back. Finally spoke with someone who said they would change it to Monday. So we watered the entire yard Sunday and they did not show up Monday, or the next day. Again more talking to the machine and leaving messages and finally get a call that, "No they were not supposed to be there that Monday, they would call and let us know when they were coming." A week goes by and they say they are coming the following Monday. We had gotten some rain, the yard actually felt spongy so we did not do additional watering. We get a call mid-week after it was apparent they did not come on Monday, he said that our yard was too hard to aerate. My husband works in the golf industry and they aerate the greens all the time without ?soaking them beforehand?. We called and told them to not come out anymore. About 10 days later, on a Saturday morning I go to do laundry. We have a grey water line from the washer. My laundry room flooded because someone had tightly rolled up the line and placed it next to the house. I asked my neighbor if he had seen anyone in my back yard. He?s outside a lot because they are doing some remodeling to their back porch. He told me he had seen a guy from Emerald Lawn in my back yard sprinkling something in the yard. I called Emerald and told them to never, ever set foot on my property again. We had no idea they were coming that day or why, when we had told them not to come anymore. More evidence of very poor communication within this company! They called back saying they hadn?t been there. Then they called back saying, oh, yeah, they had been there and the guy had rolled up the hose. This company needs to get a full time receptionist and reconsider how they communicate with people. We will never use their services again, and told our friends and neighbors about their poor service.

Seems only front yard got serviced, not bad yard. We only spent $29.50 for coupon so I was too lazy to follow up anyways.

That was a waste of time and money. I didn't think they knew what they were doing. I asked them to plant some St. Augustine grass and they simply threw it on the ground and said water it for three weeks. I did that and it died by the end of the summer. The price was reasonable but the work for that price was rather poor. They tend to show up without warning, without calling ahead. I thought that that wasn't a very professional way of running a business.

I signed up for a "Big Deal" on Angie's list. The company came promptly and was ready to treat my lawn, but I stopped them because I don't want "weed and feed" products around my trees. In the end they put some organic fertilizer and that was all they could do for me because I do not want anything but organic treatment in my yard and garden. I did not sign up for further service. They were very polite and understood my issues with chemicals.

Good consultation before work was done. Effective treatment. Options for future service explained well.

It went okay, they didn't put down a whole lot but for $25 it's fine. They were very nice. I tended to have less weed than I usually do. It wasn't perfect but it was better than usual.

They're a good company. They called me immediately and came out within the week. I was super impressed with them and I wish more companies would act like them. They were on the ball and my lawn is starting to look pretty good!
