Emerald Lawns

In the fall of 2013 I contacted Emerald Lawns through Angie' List. Over the years and especially with the more recent droughts the yard has been taking a turn for the worse. Emerald Laws came out for an assessment. The good news was it was not a lack of water but grubs that were killing the lawn from underneath the grass. I agreed to a 6 month package that has Emerald Lawns coming each month - fertilize, grub treatment, weed retardant etc. Being that it is the winter months I do not know the outcome of the treatments. I am hoping for a lush lawn! What I can share is that Emerald lawns has been reponsive. They call the day before a treatment to let you know they will be coming. Each time they have arrived as stated. Crews have been friendly and shared what they are doing each time. I have never had a lawn service before. Until this past year I have treated organically on my own. The service is more than I would like to spend, but that is me personally. If the yard comes back it will be worth the expense.

They keep me informed and talk on a level that I can understand. They gave me their plan for the future and were assuring.

The company is professional and responsive to any concerns I have. I am changing my treatments to completely organic applications and I think my yard is recovering very well from the years of drought that almost killed it. It was full of weeds and beginning to have brown patch damage. I am looking forward to spring to see how it will be when it comes out of dormancy. Great service and professional company.

They arrived at the scheduled time and inspected my yards, front and back and counseled me on the issues and how to take care of them. They could not get the machine up the back stairs to aerate the back yard, but the said they could do the front yard. I am in a townhome. They scheduled the aeration and arrived on time for the actual service. They did a great job.

The service was great. They showed up on time and finished the job very quickly. They did not break any of my irrigation sprinkler heads and they were clean. The price was very reasonable.

They have done an excellent job. They have a seven-step program that goes from early spring until the fall and I did not catch them early enough to do step one but they started for me with step two and that went for the entire season last year. We have already done step one this year so I was very pleased with the service that I received from them. We set up a contract with them to do it on an ongoing basis until further notice. They have been very good. They communicate very well, explain information and give lots of disclosure about what products they are using and what the effectiveness is. It has just been a real pleasure to have that service and I am really grateful to Angie's List for giving us that lead on them. As a matter of fact, I have referred them to my neighbor next door who also is using them now. That has worked out very well for us. I did not spend more than the big deal price for the items that were in the big deal but we extended it and I ended up concluding a contract with them. Once they came out here and I had a chance to talk to them and see them do their work, I said that I wanted to go ahead and do a contract with them to do the entire series of treatments. I went beyond the original big deal but it was an opportunity to make a contract with a reputable contractor. That was the main thing. They came out in just a matter of a few weeks after I purchased the big deal. We came in contact with them and we got in their schedule and it was very prompt but I cannot tell you exactly when they did it. They were excellent. They were certainly good enough that I asked them to continue this year.

This is my second year with Emerald Lawns and still loving them. I have a huge lawn, 12,000 sq. ft. and since they have taken care of my lawn it has been healthier, greener, and more water efficient. My water bill has decreased by almost half! You just can't get better than that. In addition, they always call prior to coming out, are always on time, and always willing to take the time to discuss any concerns. They are always very willing to come out between treatments and will do whatever is necessary to treat the problem, if there is one. I have a designated serviceman who knows my property and is aware of the high standard that I require. I would highly recommend this company over others in the area (of which I have used in the past).

scheduling was challenging. I gave them the addresses, they sent me estimates for other services- I didn't want other services, just aeration. I had to call them back months later since they hadn't yet done the work. But once I called they scheduled and completed the work in a timely manner to my satisfaction.

They called, came as projected. The operation was quickly completed.

Very friendly company. Did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I am now using them as my fertilizing service year-round.

It was good. I didn't really deal with them, my husband did and he said that they were nice. They came out when we did ask them to kill the weeds. They were very timely about that.

As always, I had no complaints about these guys other than the wait time. They did the job professionally and to my satisfaction. I hire them every year whenever the Angie's List deal comes up, and they have yet to disappoint me.

They aerated the lawn, and then I have hired them to come every two months for lawn treatment. I was very happy with their service.

The service was professional in setting up appointment, on-time arrival and broadcasting product. |It seemed to me their intent was to sell a broader range of products and services. The product they spread made no difference at all-on lawn or weeds!

My experience has gone very well. The staff is very professional and friendly while visiting. I have used them for a few years now. The pricing is very reasonable and I would highly recommend this company to others.

Aerify the lawn. It was a bit difficult to get scheduled, but all went fine with the work. I think they probably had more business than they could handle timely, at that time.

I purchased a lawn aeration initially and from the start they were quick to respond a schedule. the representative that initially cmae out was very professional and knowledgeable. after he discussed other services they provide I signed up. they have only done 2 treatments so far so i can't comment on a full service cycle yet. overall I'm happy with my overall experience so far and would recommend emerald lawns to a friend.

It was good. I’ve never had this service done before so I can’t compare it, but the guy was very professional and did a good job.

Everything was fine with the Big Deal. They were very prompt, professional, and they did the work quietly. I appreciated their work.

Lawn aeration. Ad stated that cost was for lawns up to 1/4 acre. My lawn is right at 1/4 acre so thought that would be it for cost. They came and measured and was about 11,000 ft (just over 1/4). However, ad also states lawns up to 5,000 ft which isn't anywhere near 1/4 acre (10,890 ft). Charged me $60 more. I paid it because I didn't want to waste time looking for another company to come out.

The experience was good. They came out when they said they would. They could have been a little more specific in scheduling the work--they only said it would be within a week or so.

$49 Angie's Deal for lawn aeration. Tech Russel called first and did a great job. The aerator looked small, but is super powerful, Russel covered all the areas and we are happy with the results - a lawn filled with Tootsie rolls and holes! Just what we needed as it hard packed. We did flag all the sprinkler heads and assume they were avoided, will know for sure when we turn them on in the Spring. We will definitely use their service again.

I have used Emerald Lawn service for the past several months,. They have always been Professional and on time. In addition to the aforementioned aeration, they also upgraded my Sprinkler system. They do an Excellent job.
