Emerald Lawns

They were very unresponsive. They got back to me and said they would send someone out to measure. They wouldn’t honor the original deal and tried to up-sell me over the phone.

Said they do not come out to my area. Offer stated differently, not specific enough.

They showed up at the appointment time and started work. I would have liked them to ring the doorbell to let me know they were here because we have a dog which has free access to the back yard. The work was done as expected and they did a lawn analysis of what else it could use. I told them I would think about those services. A couple months later they started doing a bug treatment they recommended without prior approval and again starting without letting us know so we could corral the dog. They did fine work, but I gave them a B due to these communication issues.

Came on time and took estimate. Technician arrived after 3 days for the treatment, everything went as expected

The lawn at our one year old house was looking a little brown and ragged. It looks better after one Emerald treatment. We were so pleased we signed up for yearly service. They were courteous and professional. And on time!

They came out and did a thorough job of inspecting my lawn. They showed me their yearly treatment plan and how it would help out my lawn and save money on water. Since this initial visit I still have them treating my lawn with great success.

They were really nice, punctual, and did a really good job. They were also easy to get in touch with. I also liked that they followed up with me and really took care of business.

They were very responsive. I was so impressed with them I hired them for further work.

Everything was fine, they did what they said they would, no problems. They tried to upsell some other services, but were very professional about it and not pushy at all, which I appreciated. I would use them again and would call them if I had a need for the other services they offer.

I purchased my house in July of 2012 and our first child was born in June of 2013. I had neglected the weeds for a while and when I attempted to try to start to pull them and kill them, they seemed to just multiply. After spending more money at the big box stores to try to kill them I decided to give Emerald Lawn's a chance. I knew that I had grassy weeds but figured if they could just kill off the Broadleaf weeds that it would be at least one step closer to getting the yard back to healthy. I was very satisfied, and shocked, when they also took care of the grassy weeds. They had to come back for a follow up visit which was free of charge. Now my yard is weed free and I couldn't be happier. I do have brown spots in the yard from the dead weeds which I was informed was going to happen. The fertilization seems to have helped as well as the grass looks ten times better than it did two months ago. I feel that since it is now Mid July and my yard looks better, that is a win. Granted I do know we have had a lot of rain this summer that is not usual but I give credit to their team. I am going to move forward with their annual plan and hope that by this time next year, my yard will look that much better. Best $25 I have ever spent.

It was a good experience. They took care of the back and front yards, and came while I was at home. They sent out one tech to do the work.

They were excellent. They did an excellent job of making the lawn nice. They were prompt. They gave good quality for the price. I would give them A all across the board.

It was good. The girl who came out for the evaluation was very professional, and I impressed by her knowledge. They were also easy to get in touch with.

They are good and their service went pretty well.

I haven't interacted with them much since they do the work when I'm not home, but they've been very communicative by email and phone. The lawn looks much better too. They've been doing so well, in fact, that I purchased yearly service from them.

Excellent. Very quick and effective

I purchased aan Angies List Big Deal. Emerald Lawns contacted me and scheduled an initial consultation in a timely manner. After inspecting my lawn they made several suggestions of additional services that would improve the condition of my lawn, all of which I am sure my lawn needs. However, when I told them I only wanted the aeration at this point, there was no pressure of any kind to purchase additional services. I really appreciated this response. they came and did the aeration. I was very pleased with this interaction and would use them again for lawn work.

It went well, I really like the company. They were on time. They deliver what they promise. No complaints.

The scheduling was a little later than I anticipated but, I'm sure the Angie's List pre-sale was a pretty hot item. They did show up when they said they would. I had a drip line that went from my planting beds to my oak tree that got punctured but, it's not their fault since I didn't warn them that it was there. All and all a great value, and I can see the results on my lawn. I'm not watering any more than I ever have and all of the bare patches are covering over in grass. Even a large patch that they said was dead due to fungus. They will call you back and upsell you on anything that they observe needs doing, which isn't a bad thing.

They were fine. I had various services, so it hard to say I have worked. They were very professional and responsive.

Emerald Lawns - so far I can't say enough good things. I sent in an email request for an estimate on the cost and I got a call back the next day. Treatment started, if I remember correctly, within 2 weeks. Extremely good customer service, plus my yard looks great. I was using Scott's before and they were just horrible - no customer service. So, Emerald Lawns is like a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend.

The normally-priced $46 service was performed 3 days after we bought the deal. The lawn is in bad shape- we just bought the house- so it will take some time to determine if the treatment worked. The Emerald technician leaves a statement of service and an invoice on the front door each time they perform a service. They accept checks and credit cards. They offer a discount for pre-payment of services for a year in advance. We subsequently purchased Emerald's annual grub-worm control package.. In addition we have asked them to provide future lawn applications 6-7 weeks apart because we decided that the $46 per application price was reasonable versus buying the fertilizer and applying it ourselves as we did at our last house.

They came, they saw, they conquered. Second I have used Emerald Lawns and I plan to use them again.

Emerald Lawns came out to assess my lawn. I opted to do the aeration and added top soil to the back yard. In addition, they are doing the regular fertilization of the yard. I would highly recommend the company. Honestly, my yard has never looked this good! We have received some rain so that helps but I believe the aeration proved most beneficial. I'm glad they recommended it.

I received a call back from my initial request within a few hours. They came out within 2 days to start my season of service. They so far seem to be very prompt and professional.
