Estimate was lower than the two others I received. When I had called back to schedule the work to be done the dispatcher informed me it would be 10 days. I had a deadline to meet for my renters and I said I would prefer to have the glass replaced in 9 days if possible. She said she would move me forward. They were out and had it done in 8 days. They did excellent work and were very professional. I will use them again.

Prompt bid, promptish work (they had business all over town after a hail storm), expert work, very professional and respectful without being robotic. We have used Anchor Ventana 3 times now.

They did a good job and were less expensive than the other 2 vendors we checked.

The Anchor Ventana guy said he would come out between 9:00 and 11:00. He showed up at 9:00, and it just took him a few minutes to measure the window. They called me with the estimate and ordered the new glass. It took about a week for them to get the glass, and another guy came out and installed the glass in about 20 minutes. They gave me a 2 hour period to expect him, and he arrived on time. Both guys knew what they were doing, and the repair was much easier than I expected. The installer just had to heat up the caulk around the old glass with his torch to get the glass out, and then he caulked in the new glass. The smell of burning caulk is pretty irritating, so we opened the other windows to get ventilation. He cleaned the new glass, and he cleaned the excess caulk off the window frame. The dividers in the new glass matched perfectly with the appearance of the rest of the glass in the window.

Excellent experience. I had broken window out after locking myself out. SInce we had been doing some remodeling recently, decided to look at replacing some or all of the windows in our home. I looked at and got bid for lowcost vinyl replacements but didn't like the look of the materials. I checked another installer, but they wanted to do the sit down with both the wife and I for a sales presentation. That wasn't necessary!!! I had known about Anchor Ventana from my days in the insurance business and more than twenty years in the community. I called AV, set up an appointment. Mike arrived as scheduled, he was clean and courteous. He took the required measurement and stated they would be getting back to me next day with the cost figures. Next day Linda called me and faxed over the numbers with a breakdown as requested. I discussed with my wife, decided not to replace just the broken window but replace the full set of bay and kitchen windows with Low e-glass because they are oriented toward morning sun and thus would eliminate glare and allow less heat penetration. ( I was not eligible for up to $1500.00 rebate because I did not replace with vinyl windows) We scheduled and install date, Gary and Jessie came out, got to work and completed the job in a timely manner. I was very pleased with the results. I will be using AV for another wall of windows soon.

All went very well. The installers were courteous, professional, took great care to be clean in my home, and generally did an excellent job. The estimate was done the day after I called. It was more than I had anticipated, so I got a couple of other estimates over the phone; Anchor's turned out to be lowest. During installation, when they got out one pane to install it, they told and showed me that there was a scratch in one corner, giving me the option of installing it anyway or getting a replacement(no added cost, of course). I picked the replacement. It was a small scratch in a corner, and I might not have noticed it myself; I was happy that they pointed it out. The replacement arrived in a week, and was installed the next day.

I had the double-pane glass replaced in two windows. Within a week, one of them cracked again. I have no idea why, but they came out again and replaced the cracked window with no hassle.

Nice salesperson. Seemed to know what she was talking about. Waited for over a week for them to get bricks and frame. Frame came in bent, so another 5-6 business day delay. Frame came in and we scheduled another install. Crew arrived punctually. Put frame into previous window's opening. Didn't fit, so they said the carpenter framed the hole wrong, plus he hadn't wrapped it in plastic sheeting. It was something the salesperson was supposed to tell us, but didn't. She also didn't tell us that the install team needs like 1/4" excess to fiddle with the brick to make it plumb. Carpenter dropped everything, got his crew out to my house and enlarged the opening by 1/4". Anchor Ventana's people came back, put frame in, started laying the bricks and found out the frame was too big for them. Therefore, it was the fault of Anchor Ventana (hereafter AV). The AV guy took the frame apart and sawed off the frame. He reinstalled it and it was then 1/8" too small. He wanted to just spread the frame out and go ahead and do the job. We said no. AV called their supplier, who told them it would be 5-6 business days. I called the office asking for the supervisor (unavailable), the GM (unavailable) and the owner (they refused to even give me his name). SO I called the President of the manufacturer in Minnesota. He said he didn't make the frames and sent me to a company in Houston. I got the President, told him how his product was messing up my project completion. He immediately offered to overnight a replacement - AS SOON AS THEY GOT AN ORDER. That's right, AV told me the time line when the apparently hadn't even called to order a replacement. We got the frame quickly, but because of what I did, not AV. The AV supervisor got involved and started to make things happen. The frame came in overnight and they scheduled to install the following day. The new crew came out and they were perfect in every way. Craftsmen who were cordial, helpful and wanted to make sure we were happy. We also found out that the prior crew was going to assemble the window without using the flanges that steady and square the bricks. SO maybe we were lucky they couldn't install it. We finally have a great installation, but with way too much drama. If you do use AV, ask them to send Kendal, the guy who finally did it right.

I wanted to replace my framed shower door and contacted Anchor Ventana for an estimate. They sent someone out in two days. He explained to me why a frameless glass door structure wouldn't work very well with my enclosure. So, I decided to get another framed door but with a different finish, a towel bar and a little taller. The estimator was helpful in suggesting that the new door could be taller and open in a different direction. The only disappointment was that the door took longer than the original estimate to order and install. Initially, I was told that it would take 5-7 days. However, a week passed without my hearing anything. I called and was told that the door was back ordered but I would hear from their scheduler in a day or two. Again, I waited but had to call when that time passed. When a scheduler did call, however, I was impressed that they installed it the very next day. The installation process went very smoothly and lasted no more than an hour with two workers taking down the original structure and installing the new door system. Aside from the delay, I was pleased.

Anchor Ventana originally installed the shower enclosure and it leaked due to faulty installation. Being under warranty, they assumed all responsibility including the costs associated with repairing/replacing the damaged tile and sheetrock. They brought in all new glass and hardware. Three people came to install the new enclosure. They were very meticulous and careful, taking their time to get it right the first time. We did call them back so they could adjust the door slightly from one side to the other and the same crew returned. The shower enclosure works perfectly and looks even better than when originally installed (we made an adjustment as to the locations of the clamps). Anchor Ventana is a superior company. They stand by their work. There was no dispute, no fights over responsibility for the repairs. They always returned phone calls and serve their customers. There may be cheaper companies out there, but knowing that Anchor Ventana backs up their work makes them the most affordable one around. Any future glass needs will get me to calling Anchor Ventana.

They are meticulous, knowledgeable and very reasonable. I am going to be having them come back for some more work in the future. They are extremely customer oriented.

They were late arriving at my home but they were courteous enough to call and let me know they were running late. They had great overall workmanship. They appeared very professional other than being late, everything else was great.

The original estimate given over the phone was $219-245, so I was a bit surprised when it came out to $285. Other than that, the overall experience was excellent and we would use them again in the future.

I found them to be very professional and good at what they did. The sales rep was very easy to talk to and the person who came out to install the garage door was hard working. He did a good job with the installation and we haven't had any problems with the new door. We also felt it was at a reasonable price.

They did a very good job installing the new windows. They measured each window separately to make sure they fit properly. The windows fit and looked perfect. They look like they belong in our house. They were able to match the other windows in the house exactly.
