Description of Work: Recharged the Kinetico Water Softener and changed filter in the unit under the sink.

Description of Work: There was a water leak under the sink & I thought it was coming from their equipment. The tech came & determined it wasn't their equipment so there was a $165 down the drain! The tech was very nice & tried to find where the leak was coming from but couldn't pin point the leak

Description of Work: They do a complete check and service on our water treatment system every year and a half since it was owned by previous owners. Their employees are intelligent, punctual, and very professional. And they are very precise about wha any why they are doing work. Very patient and usually have ideas for how to cut price when we can. However, their prices seem high and as I live in Bastrop county and they are north of Austin they used to charge a travel fee.. I'm not sure they still do as for a few years their technician lived in our area and we scheduled so he he could start at home.

Description of Work: They replace the water filter cartridges in or under the sink water filteratration system. We have them come out once a year to do the replacement as they installed the original unit. We have been exceedingly happy with both the service and the product.

Description of Work: Initially a guy came over, who was the representative, and made all kind of false claims. Later on the technician came who had to dig the French drain and he put it in the wrong place where the grass died and the lawn would be soggy all the time. They installed the softening system in an extremely wrong place which was exposed directly to the outside. During winters there was freezing and the system got damaged irreparably. I contacted them and after a lot of deliberation a representative came over, but they were very rude and did not help a bit. They started to referred to the contract did not cover freezing. However they installed at a place where the system could be potentially exposed to freezing. It was waste of 4000 precious dollars. I would not recommend their services to anybody.

Description of Work: We've had our Kenetico water softener and whole house water filter for over 4 years. It's one of the best on the market. We bought it from American Water at the Austin Home & Garden Show with a good discount. They've had to service it 2 times since we got it. One was just a checkup. We've always had good service from them and recommend them to anyone else.

Description of Work: I bought a water softener tune up package through Angie's List. They suggested that I add a whole house carbon filter to filter out chlorine because the chlorine would damage the softener. The problem is that they use chloramines, not chlorine, where I live to disinfect the water. This type of filter does nothing for chloramines. The tech was unaware of that and even said otherwise. How do you treat the water when you don't know what you're treating?
