Everything went well. No problems. This is maintenance this has to be done about every 3 years. Our system is over 20 years old and the technician said it was still in great shape and functioning well.

They were on time and cleaned up all the remaining parts wwhen they were done. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends

I've been using these guys since I built my house & they've always been good. Probably not the cheapest guys around, I'm guessing. But they are always very professional, prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and always willing to take as much time as you need for anything.

Service is mediocre. They just drop off salt in the driveway rather than ring or knock to see if someone is home. I would really like them to put the salt in the softener. I am 71, and lifting four forty pound bags to empty them into the tank is not easy.

It was expensive and the system broke. I will do my own system from Home Depot.

Serviced old reverse osmosis system. Poor water pressure. Service technician recommended a newer system called the K5 Drinking Water Station by Kinetico. Credited the service call towards the purchase of the newer system.

The service was prompt and went well. Water pressure was dropping in the house and the softener resin needed changing. After the service the pressure was back to normal. We have used this company for nearly 15 years and have always had a good experience. We also have a Kinetico R/O water filter installed by them. We like Kinetico products.

I moved from one house to another about 15 months ago. American Water was the company that had installed it and I called them to come and disconnect it so i could bring it with me to my new home. When I moved into the new house, I called and they came out the next day and installed it and did some routine maintenance on it that I had been waiting to have done until I moved. They came back about 3 months ago and replaced the filter in the unit under the kitchen sink and refreshed my memory of how to tell when it needed to be changed again. I have always been pleased with the service. They are always on time and I think they are very thorough in checking the system out to be sure everything is working as it should be. I would not hesitate to recommend Kinetico or American Water of Round Rock.

We have since moved out of state and are no longer in their active customer base.

perhaps unfair to rate American Water so long after non-customer-friendly service drove me away.

I had them out to check out my water softener and change the filter. The work was accomplished efficiently. I have used them for many years for my water softener and Reverse Osmosis system.

Installed a under sink water filtration system. It was done quickly and well. System has worked great since installed.

Great. Professional and on time

To the best of my ability to determine, the install was physically clean neat and well done. Installer tooks photos of his work for their records. Install was done at the scheduled time. The installer was pleasant and efficient. Even though I have been a customer for 16 years, the entire purchase ansd install process was filled with numerous issues that left me uncomfortable. All have been resolved to my satisfaction. However, had I not been personally diligent in pursuing technical issues, the new system controls would have been set so incorrectly that the unit would have recharged much more frequently than needed - multiplying the cost of salt and recharge water. Among issues that concerned me: Their web site did not show the unit I wanted, even though they had it in stock. Their focus seems be be on more costly units. I was told that the warranty on this unit was non-transferable but the printed warranty says otherwise. The work order for installation had my name incorrect. The installer did not know how to calcuate the needed control settings and phoned for assistance. The installer said that the unit recharges every night. However, when properly set, it will do so about every 8-10 days. The owners manual provided to me at installation does not show the unit they actually installed. Controls were set without any record of my water hardness. Setting information written by the installer on his work order was unintelligent and not understandable. After I visited the American Water office and showed my information materials and a photo of the control settings, David Sanchez, the facilities manager, made a personal visit to my home, tested the water, corrected the control settings, and offered to send me specifications on the actual unit installed. These have not yet been received at this writing. I did write a letter to the owner as listed by the BBB sharing the information above but primarily sharing how one customer sees and experiences his business. I am concerned about customers who are not as diligent for whom they made prior installations and have incorrect meter settings. I though he ought to know. At this time I am reasonbly well satisfied, but cautious.

Very friendly, professional and prompt. It couldn't have gone better! I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a water softener company or using a plumber and a softener brand, etc., and I am certain that I made the right choice.

My husband and I have just built a new home. We are from New England and first time home buyers so we didn't know anything about water softeners. After some internet research, we spoke to Donald Weitzman at a home show in Austin. He was professional and very knowledgeable and didn't try to sell us the most expensive units. When the house was close to completion, he came out and tested our water. He again reviewed our needs (how many people, how many bathrooms, etc) and helped us determine which systems would be right for us. Again, he did not try to sell us the most expensive unit, but helped us find the right fit for us. The installer, Laddie, was fantastic. He was friendly, thorough and really took pride in doing a good job. His pride in workmanship really showed especially with the job he did installing the water filtration into our brand new granite counters. I could not be happier with the installation. He also took the time to really explain how we use our system. We are very happy with our systems and with the service we have received.
