They have done excellent work and I have hired them 3 spring seasons in a row. They know what they are doing and are very professional. I will continue to use them and would highly recommend them as well.

They removed two trees out of which one was 36 inches in diameter and the other one was bigger than that. They trimmed the other trees and cleaned up after themselves. They did a wonderful job.

They were amazing and this was a lot of work. They had a team of seven people with tree trucks to haul everything away and got it done really fasts. They have most of the same employees each time. they clean up are fast efficient and professional.

My expectations were very low from dealing with other tree service companies so I was extremely appreciative of the work American Tree Service did. I contacted the top 4 tree services listed and American Tree Service provided the quickest service (gave me an estimate the same day I called and did the work the next day), the price was cheaper than all the others (literally $400 less than one I was submitted by another company). They were also willing to work with my budget, which was nice. I dealt with Gilbert and he was a lot more courteous and professional than most of the people I spoke to at other companies, for example one woman was cracking jokes and having a great conversation with a co-worker and acted like I was inconveniencing her, and I received an estimate from another company about 2 weeks after they said they would send it. No thanks! To top the whole experience off, Gilbert and his crew even removed an 10 ft pile of dead branches that had accumulated over the last year or so in my backyard (not from their work) and I didn't even ask them to do that. That was a real bonus! I can honestly say, don't even bother contacting another tree service. American Tree Service won't let you down.

They did an excellent job of cleaning up the mess from the storm and they cleaned up well with themselves. They most recently removed a limb that was growing out into the street. Another part of the canopy came off on the cedar elm and they additional work in the back.

Tim came out the day after we called him because we told him that there was no hurry in what we needed done, but then they completed the work that afternoon. They removed the fallen limb, pointed out other large branches leaning over our roof that could cause damage and then removed those. They also cut down a small cedar tree and trimmed back a crape myrtle that had become misshapen. This was the 4th time we have used this company and as always, they cleaned the debris out of our yard.

First, let me preface my remarks with I believe B, the overall grade I am giving, is a good grade. The estimators showed up in the morning to give me a bid and said they could do it the same day. I asked that they do it while I was there. They sent someone out but I didn't know they were outside working. They knocked on the door when they were done and asked for payment. I didn't see how they removed the trees but I believe they used pick axes to loosen the root b**** and then they pulled them. We discovered on our next watering day that they'd broken a sprinkler line as water came shooting up from the dirt. I called the office and within a week they sent someone out to repair the sprinkler pipe.

Great! They showed up at the exact time they told me they would. The gentleman were very professional. I live in a condo with a small backyard. The tree is just as old as the condo and unfortunately is dying. I wanted to save it but remove the dead branches in an attempt to prolong whatever life is left in the tree. They had several suggestions on what I could do after the trim to make sure that it got the nutrients it needs. We agreed on a price and the work began a short time later. The tree provides some privacy from the building behind my condo and they seemed to really understand that I wanted to keep as much of the tree as possible. As they climbed in the tree (it is like 25+ yrs old), the trimming began. I had no idea how many dead branches were hiding out of view up top until my backyard was filled with dead branches. They were careful to save the lie limbs and only cut the dead ones. With a small backyard, some of the branches fell into the neighbors yards on either side of me. They asked me to ask my neighbors if they could access their backyards so that they could pick up whatever was dropped. It took them two hours to clean up the tree. I was very impressed with them. They never stopped moving either. The tree is next to a carport so they also cleared everything off of that too. They even used a blower to get everything out of the gutters on the carport (from not just mine but my neighbors too). They raked and used the blower to get every last scrap out of my yard. They were also nice enough to do it for my neighbors as well. I have not used my blower to blow dead leaves out of my yard in a while and even though the leaves were there when they arrived, they cleaned those up too. All in all, I had no idea so much of the tree needed to come off but as limbs came tumbling to the ground, I was shocked. Every limb was dead. When they hit the ground, they would split into a million pieces. I am so thankful that I had the sevice come in to clean it but before it crashed into my house or carport and caused serious damage.

I spoke to Tim and he said he would go by my house the same day to look at the trees. He called me later the same day and described the work he would do, and for how much. Since I was waiting on a quote from another company, I asked him to follow up the next week. He did call back and I let him know I had got a better quote - he was very courteous and if it hadn't been for the significant price difference, I would definitely have gone with him.

Tim and his team did a great job trimming some trees and opening up a view from our house. Tim was very focused on making sure the work was right. His team did the job and cleaned up great, even blowing away the sawdust from our deck. Great professional job and a real value for the dollar. Neighbor liked their work so much they engaged his team to do some work for them the same day.

They did a great job, were puncutal, courteous, and left the site clean. They even mowed the lawn before they left. I would recommend them highly.

My husband called Tim for an estimate and he was here in about 30 minutes (sooner that we expected him). The crew arrived an hour or so later to trim trees. They were here at least 6 hours and worked very hard. Everyone was very professional and Tim answered all questions we had. The cleanup was fantastic. The next a.m., I was trimming a smaller tree and I believe it was the foreman came to pick up the trailer (as they were doing my neighbor's house after ours) and he came over and loaded the limbs on their trailer for me. Very good customer service. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Great job. Very impressed with all the workers. Tough job dealing with electrical wires and protecting our roof and neighbors newly planted trees but they did it with expertise. Hired them over a year ago and they also did a great job for us. Only improvement would be confirming time would arrive for job. I had asked for them to arrive as early as possible and had to call to find out when they would come at 10:00am when I hadn't heard from anyone yet. They were running late on another job but should have called to give me an estimated time of arrival. I called the owner, Tim, and they arrived about 1/2 hour later. Otherthan a short lunch break, they worked straight out hard to get the job done. Very impressive!

showed up on time, professional through and through. One guy made a special trip to drop off the insurance information that I required before I'd go with them (they are insured!)

I had a 30-year-old Arizona ash tree that needed work done, but I wasn't sure if a good trim would be sufficient. I talked to Tim and his wife on Thursday to give information about what I wanted done. Tim said he would come by and take a look at the tree in question and give me an estimate. Tim called Friday morning and said he had already looked at the tree. He recommended removal because it was at the end of the normal lifespan for ash trees and it had a lot of dead wood all through it. His workers showed up a little after noon on Monday and immediately got to work. This tree was in excess of 40 feet tall, but they started taking off smaller limbs quickly. It wasn't long before there was only one major limb left -- hanging directly over their trailer. They managed to cut it so that it fell into the trailer. Once they had the limbs down, they got to work on the trunk and cut it down almost to ground level. This three-man crew worked hard for several hours with very few breaks. Once they had all of the tree in the trailer (I was amazed that they got it all in there), they took the time to rake the yard to clean up twigs and sawdust and blew the debris out of the street. They were very friendly and took the time to explain anything I asked about.

Excellent. Tim responded immediately to my message, and someone came by my house the next day to provide an estimate. The work was done two days later, and the yard looks wonderful. After trimming the trees around the pool the workman cleaned the pool and pool decking completely; all areas of the yard were cleaned as well. The company owner called the same night to make sure that the work was accomplished to our satisfaction.

Tim came over to the house early to do another "walk through" with me to confirm the job, since it had been a few weeks since he'd come over to do the estimate. He was back with his crew shortly thereafter and they began work mid-morning. These trees had never been pruned before, and they did a great job clearing out the branches, removing the ball moss. They were also careful not to let limbs and debris fall over the fence into neighbors' yards. They dragged all of the branches to the front and raked the yard -- it was in great shape by the end of the day. All of the branches -- and there were a LOT of cut branches -- were hauled off by the end of the work day.

it went very well. i contacted austin tree service and someone came out for an estimate the same day. the work was scheduled for the following week and they came on the date scheduled. they actually worked in the rain that morning. when i came home i found both trees cut to the ground and the other tree trimmed with all the trimmings and debris gone. the only problem i had was that we agreed that a 30" stump would be left in the backyard so i could use it as a plant or yard art stand. when i came home it had been cut all the way down. i called them and they gave me $25 off but i'd rather have had the stump.

I noticed a tree had fallen in our yard. I called and emailed American Tree Service. One of their managers called me back, came the next day and gave me an estimate and told me they could do it on Saturday, 2 days later. The estimate was $300, but I used the $25 coupon they offer for Angie's List members, so I paid $275. The manager started the work and then called 3 more workmen in to help him finish the job. I believe they were busy for about 4 hours. I think it was a bigger job than he had anticipated. I have had the manager here before on 2 other jobs and he and his crew did another fantastic job! I maybe should not write this down, but I like American Tree Service so much, I don't even bother to get other estimates, anymore. I trust them to give me a fair estimate and will do an excellent job for me.

Great responsiveness. All their responses and efforts were timely and professional. They started the work during the day and by the time I got home the work was done and they did exactly what I asked for the quoted price.

I contacted American Tree Service initially by email. I received a reply within an hour, and was advised to contact Tim Pruett by telephone as he could schedule an estimate soon after he was contacted. I called Tim, and he came to our place to give an estimate the same afternoon. Please note that I called Tim after 5 pm - he still came right over to look at the job an do an estimate. After we agreed to the work and price, Tim scheduled the work to begin the very next day. He originally gave a completion estimate of about two days. We were very happy with the work, so we had Tim continue to add trees and sections of our small ranch over a period of several days. Our son who lives next door was also impressed, and asked us to have Tim give him an estimate as well. Tim and his crew were always happy to look over additional work we considered, and was very accommodating in adding new work and estimates to our project. American Tree Service continued to make our property feel like a priority throughout the two weeks they were here. I was always informed when they would be on another project which was previously scheduled (since we added more work than originally scheduled), and they were good about letting me know when they would be on our property to work. They arrived at about 9 am each work day, and completed the work and cleaned up each evening at about 530. The crew was conscientious about closing our ranch gates to keep livestock where they belonged. After the job was completed, Tim Pruett gave me the name and number of an arborist to look at two trees that I had health concerns with. When I had the arborist out the next day, he recommended that two trees be removed. I called Tim with the news, and he sent a crew out the very next day to completely remove the two trees at a nominal cost. We thought this was very impressive, as they had already completed our project, and had been paid in full. This is an example of how I was treated throughout the project. American Tree Service always made me feel like our property and tree work was the most important job they had.

We had an enormous limb crack right over our house. Called a few companies -- American Tree Service was the most reasonable priced and the most responsive. They came out and removed the big limb -- did a beautiful job. Also made great recommendations on additional limb removal over our neighbor's house that would have caused us trouble. Charged way less than we thought it would cost.

We called the main number after seeing the rating on Angie's list. A quote was given over the phone for $950. We called back and said that was a little high, could they just cut the oak tree. The quote was $500, agreed and scheduled. At the site, after seeing the cedar tree, they dropped the price to $900 for both and I accepted. The workmen were very careful lowering heavy logs to the ground to keep from damaging the wooden deck. They originally said that they would cut the stump down to 2" below ground level, cut slots in it about 2" deep and poor salt into the slots. They did this without reminding them that they had committed to do it. There were also a number of small toys in their work path in the yard which they moved to one side and then moved them all back exactly where they were before they came. There was even a solar powered yard light that they needed to move and one of the workers stuck it back in the same hole it came from before they left. They brought a big box trailer to haul off two loads of tree cuttings. They also had to stop because of rain, left the trailer in an out-of-the-way concreted area until they could return. The workers returned promptly the next day, worked through a drizzle and finished the job. They swept the deck and blew as much of the savings as possible off of the yard, picked them up and put them in the trailer also to haul off. Overall, an outstanding job and great attention to detail. I highly recommend American Tree Service.

They did a really good job. I plan on using them again soon.
