Except for a bit of phone tag and some scheduling issues due to weather, it went as smoothly as hoped for. The results, especially on the live oak that hadn't had any serious maintenance in 20 years, were great. The curb appeal is much higher now.

It went great. They came quickly, did exactly what we asked and did not try to sell us any more tree work. The charge was reasonable.

American Tree Service showed up very quickly after I called. They looked at my front and back yard and gave me a quote of $600.00. I thought this was very low and was nervous about the quality. They came a few days later and did exactly what we discussed. They did an excellent job and my yard looks wonderful. So glad I used this service and I will definitely be calling them again.

I thought the pricing was fine and I didn?t have anything to complain about. They clean up after their mess.

Tim provided a quote for both requests on the same day that I contacted him. The work was completed the very next day as advertised. They did a really nice job & left no signs that they had even been in our yard. Extremely pleased. Joe

The guy seemed very nice. I explained everything. He told me that he would get back to me but he never did. He was pleasant. He looked everything. Maybe, he does only tree service. Maybe the problem was that I was very specific that I needed the yard work done along with the tree service. He didn?t quote me any prices. He told me that he would check with his boss and get back to me. I gave him my e-mail address and other contact details. However, he was on time for the appointment. He didn?t followup. I will not use this company again.

They did a good job, I was happy with them. I had no problems with this company.

They came over a few hours after I called to give an estimate. They were on time, reasonably priced (and were willing to work with me on cost) and extremely thorough. They did more than expected and our yard, which has several big, obtrusive trees looks amazing! I am so pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them and will use them in the future. They stuck around to make sure I was happy with every bit of it.

The crew worked quickly and did minimal damage to associated landscaping. All the debris was removed. This is the second time I've used American Tree Service and I understand why they get such good reviews.

I called Tim on a Saturday and in an hour he came out and gave me an estimate. I was on a tight time schedule and he said he could have a crew out there on Tuesday. The price seemed fair to me so I asked him to come out. On Monday I called them because I had not yet been given a time that they would be coming out. We set up a time for Tuesday afternoon and they agreed to call me an hour before they were to come. They called and showed up on time with a 2 man crew and finished the job in an hour. They managed to get all of the hard to reach branches by climbing trees and tying themselves to the tree for safety (my roof won't support somebody walking on it). After they were finished, I walked around to look at all the work. I was pleased with what I saw, and was pleased with the clean up. The bill was exactly what Tim had given me for an estimate. The whole process was very painless and I would definitely use them again.

The price was good. The worker did not clear the patio roof off. I caught that when they were here so they took the blower and cleaned that up. They also took too much off a large branch on the front tree. The owner responded promptly. I called one day and they came the next. He always answered the phone when I called. He also came out promptly for the estimate.

This is the second time we had American Tree Service perform a large job for us. We called Tim the morning of the 9th and he said he would be here at 11:30am to give an estimate. We didn't tell him that American Tree Service already had the job. He arrived on time and provided an estimate that we know from past experience was an excellent price. We voiced our fears that due to the rains of the previous weeks that the hackberry trees would be dropping large dead limbs on our home and those of our neighbors - or that the trees would fall. Tim had a crew to our home by 12:30 and by 2:00 the trees were down. We are talking massive hackberry trees - I don't know how they did it. By the end of the day they had cut the trunks and limbs into pieces and we slept well that night. By 9am the next morning, the crew was back to haul off the pieces. They raked and removed all the saw dust that could possibly be remove. Next, they moved on to the oaks and did their usual fantastic job. Working with professionals takes the worry out of big projects such as ours. We couldn't be more pleased with their work.

Great service from start to finish. I'll be using American Tree Service as my tree guys as long as I am in Austin. The estimate was scheduled and David was early for the appointment, he was extremely informative during the appointment. On the day of the appointment Charlie was the team leader and he was terrific. He answered all our questions, got the job done quickly and professionally. The team even noticed that I had some brush piled up (I was waiting for bulk brush pickup day) and they took it off my hands for me. They were just great! Thanks guys!

Response to my call was quick, Tim, owner, personally gave me an estimate. Work crew started a few days after and completed work on time. The job was thorough and as described. We are pleased.

Tim was early to give estimate. We discuss his thoughts and what I was wanting. He gave me an estimate and had his guys come out the same day. They were efficient and very polite. They did all the work that was requested. Right before they finished I asked them to do one more thing in my back yard and they did at no extra charge. The only reason I gave them a C on price is because I have had the same work done before for cheaper, but that company had a long waiting list. I would definitely use them again if there estimate is competitive. Also, on my mistake, I did forget to use the Angie's list coupon, so I would have saved a little more.

They were giving an estimate for trimming our neighbors' oak trees, so we had them give us an estimate for trimming our oak treees also. We pointed out a ligustrum which needed to be removed among a few additional trimmings which needed to be done. They returned the next morning and as they did the scheduled trimming, they also cleaned up some other branches on our elm trees which improved the overall look.. They did a great job of cleaning up the debris and as always, painted the wounds on the oak trees to prevent oak wilt. This is about the sixth time we have used this company and we always have been pleased with their work and professionalism.

He did a really good job. There was one tree we had talked about that he missed, and I just had to call him and he came right out. He was very responsive. I was very happy with the work and I would use them again.

David arrived on time to give me a bid and then said he could get the work done the same day. Since the price & timing were perfect, I said yes. The workmen were friendly and cleaned up everything but the sawdust (which was in the grass & mud so couldn't really be cleaned up very well. I'll be calling them again for future tree services.

The job went well. They removed all debree as promised. They did not paint over areas where limbs were cut off. I didn't think to ask about that when I received their quote, so I guess that is my inexperience.

The crew showed up when they said they would and demonstrated remarkable skill and expertise in doing the job. They really knew what they were doing. They completed the job at the quoted rate in spite of the fact that it took more time than expected and a crane was unexpectedly required for taking down the trunks. There was no damage done and the site was cleaned up when they finished. Great Job!!!

Workers arrived on time and completely the job efficiently. Even stacked sizable logs for us to keep and use in the fireplace.

Everything was done on time, from appointment for estimate to actual work. Work crew seemed knowledgeable and did some extra trimming that I requested without adding to the fee. The day after the final trimming, a clean up crew came by to make sure that no debris was left on the ground.

They showed up on time and even worked in the rain. I didn't expect they would come because of the weather! They removed both trees and cleaned up and removed all the debris. They also trimmed some dead limbs from other trees in my yard. The entire job took them about 2.5 hours.
