First off, Tim answered his phone and came out for an estimate on a Sunday. Who does that? I wasn't in a real hurry to get the work done so we scheduled the appointment for Thursday, though Tim indicated he could come earlier if necessary (it wasn't). He even ripped up for free a root that was creeping towards the house. His men had left a limb hanging directly over where I normally park my car (the car wasn't there, and they had no way of knowing that), and when I asked them if they could trim that too, they didn't consider it an imposition at all. The lawn was very clean when they were done and everything looks fabulous. I am very impressed with their work.

Tim came out with his crew the day before to make sure they knew exactly what to do. They showed up early and immediately got to work. They removed a small and a medium size trees that had died last summer, and dug up the stumps. They prumed 3 trees in the front yard and 6 in the back yard, removing a few very large low limbs and generally raising the canopy and 'cleaning them up'. Top branches were trimmed all around the house roof line. They hauled off everything and swept up all debris from the back patio and driveway. The work was done on time, as agreed upon, and very professionally.

Mr. Pruett was great to work with. Showed up on time, finished the work on time and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend him!

It was a great experience. Not much to tell. They showed up on time and did exactly what we had discussed. When I wasn't quite satisfied with one tree and asked that a little more be taken off one side, they did it quickly and pleasantly with absolutely no hint of anger or frustration. We were also told that if the trimming wasn't enough to allow adequate sun on the pool once it's pool weather, they would return and fix it for free! We extremely satisfied.

I should have haggled a little more on price than I did. They had a great attitude and they did a good job. I would sue them again in the future.

I set up an appointment for an estimate with Tim. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate. I told him I would contact him later in the week too set up an appointment. The crew arrived at the appointment time and finished the job in about six hours. I was amazed at how quickly an efficiently they completed the job. The trees that were removed in the back were close to the fence and overhanging a patio cover and they were careful not to damage either. This was a very hard working crew of 4 guys. Tim also stopped by to check on progress at one point. They did a good job of cleanup also. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I called Tim, got voice mail, left a message. He called back within an hour. He was able to give me an estimate by midafternoon. Before quoting a price, he asked questions to understand what I wanted. He gave me his recommendations - with options (depending on how agressively we wanted the trees trimmed.) Then he quoted the price. (He gave me $25 off for mentioning Angie's List.) My husband arrived home after Tim had gone through all of this with me. He graciously repeated everything for Dave's benefit. His crew arrived the next day (as scheduled.) Within (approximately) 3 hours, they had trimmed the live oaks EXACTLY as we'd discussed. They also "cleaned up" the Bradford Pears that we'd trimmed ourselves. I didn't think that they could look much different but I was wrong. They are once again "naturally shaped" and quite nice. The smaller limbs were removed to a trailer for hauling away. The ground under the trees was raked of all debris (except the sawdust, of course.) The larger branches from the Live Oaks were cut into fireplace sized lenghts and neatly stacked in our wood pile for drying and use next winter. Tim's crew was very efficient, polite and did exactly what we hoped that they would do. I was very concerned that the trees not look harsh or unnaturally shaped. I need not have worried. The man doing the actual cutting had a very good eye for shape and balance. We were DELIGHTED with the work, the company and would highly recommend them to our friends and neighbors (many of whom have complimented our "new" trees.) Thanks Tim and crew.

We have worked with Tim Pruett before for tree trimming and found his service prompt, efficient and very helpful. They always seem to do a bit more than you even ask for. We had never had our naturalized area cleaned up before by a service, and were a bit nervous that they would just scalp everything, but this crew was very careful to trim around the red yuccas, mountain laurels and other things we had planted here and there. It looks great and was well worth the price we paid. American Tree Service saved us tremendous time and back pain!

This was a very good experience. Mr. Pruett personally called me the same day that I emailed him--which was amazing given it was a Sunday. He came out on that Sunday and gave me a quote. They began the work the very next afternoon and finished up the next morning. When he brought his workers out, he came with them. That was very much appreciated by me. In addition, he had two very knowledgeable (and personable) supervisors that went around the yard with me once they completed the work. They both spoke English and were able to answer my questions. We also have a pool close to where a lot of the pruning was taking place, and they were very careful to be sure that limbs and leaves didn't fall in the pool. They were also very careful to clean up after themselves before leaving the job site. I will definitely be recommending Mr. Pruett and his company to my friends and neighbors, and they will definitely be asked to do work at my home again.

Good job overall. Quick service, called and they came out and gave an estimate the same day I called. When work was agreed upon they came when they said they would did what was requested and a bit more. Finished job in one day with good cleanup

I called and spoke directly to Tim Pruett. He came out the next morning and gave us different options for trimming the trees back. He provided us with information on an aggressive approach and a more passive approach. We chose a more passive approach understanding that we will probably need to revisit the growth in a couple of years. Tim was a great listener and was very easy to work with. We were able to schedule very quickly and have the work done on the next normal business day after New Years Day. Tim arrived early in the morning and instructed his team on exactly what to do. The team did a fantastic job of trimming back enough but not being overly aggessive as we had wished. They also removed many dead limbs and cleaned up the yard really well. There was a lot of work to be done, and it was completed within just a few hours. I would definitely recommend Tim and his company and will use them again when the time comes to trim back the trees again.

Tim Pruett responded to my email sent from my Angie's List account within four business hours. He called and came by the same day to do a walkthrough with me and provide an estimate. He is a likeable, low-key guy. After agreeing on a scope of work and price, he said he could have his crew out the very next day. That was agreeable to me as I could be around for most of the day if issues arose. His crew showed up promptly at 9:00 a.m. as promised and Charlie (crew boss) did another walkthrough with me to make sure he understood what I wanted. Tim had a previously scheduled appointment and showed up perhaps an hour later and made sure his and Charlie's understanding of the work to be done were in sync. Tim's crew (four plus him) were very experienced and worked together extremely well. They had to drop some of the cuttings onto my neighbor's property, but did not damage anything and they cleaned up thoroughly. They (twice) hauled away a tremendous amount of brush and wood to be ground up elsewhere. They worked steadily throughout the day and finished a little before dusk. The work delivered was complete: all the trees and limbs I wanted removed were done so and the cuts on existing oaks were sealed. Cleanup was thorough as well. I spent more than I wanted, but I had more work to be done than anticipated before contacting Tim, so I was pleased with the value delivered for the money.

The work was fast and well done. I thought the price was a bit high, but may have been justified given the height of the tree. They did work for me a couple years back and did an even better job.

The owner, Mr. Pruett, answered the phone. When I asked him to come give an estimate, he said he could be there in 20 minutes, so I left work and met him at the house. After we reviewed the work, he gave me an estimate and said the crew could be by later in the afternoon. They showed up on time and did almost all the work as promised. I did point out one item that was missed when I came out as they were cleaning up and they promptly took care of it. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and will definitely call them again next time I need similar work done.

Tim Pruett, Sr. was at my home about an hour after I called. I told him what I wanted done, and he gave me a bid that I believe was quite reasonable, which I accepted. His crew started two hours later and stayed until the job was completed to my satisfaction. It took them 3 and a half days, and I feel blessed to have found American Tree Service.

American Tree Service provided an estimate and performed the work at our residence. I am very pleased with the result and would use them again. Mr. Pruett provided me with an estimate and when I asked for a breakdown for more price options, he provided it. His business card shows Angie's List affiliation as well as memberhip with the BBB. After checking ATS's status with the BBB, I scheduled the service. I was present the entire time (it took about 6 hours) and the foreman encouraged me to tell them if I had a suggestion/request that I wanted them to do. They aim to please and did a meticulous job. The 4-man crew was efficient and professional, and the clean up at the end was great. Three of my four adjacent neighbors have scheduled tree service with ATS as a result.

It was great. Mr. Pruett came out within hours of my call, evaluated the tree, told us that the tree is actually fine, and charged nothing at all. I will definitely call him whenever I need work on my trees.

I was talked into hiring the crew for the entire day at a cost of $1750. I had a lot of work to be done and judging by the confidence of the owner, the reassurance that his crew would give me my money's worth, and the score they recieved from Angie's list, I said sure. The crew didn't show up until around 9AM, I came home for lunch to check on them and they left for lunch at 11:40 and didn't return until after 1:20PM. When I got home they had barely accomplished anything in the back that I was assured they'd get to. I talked to the owner and he had apologized ans sent someone back out to finish the job as discussed. In the end, they gave me my money's worth and did a really great job.

They are excellent. Tim was very responsive and professional. I feel like I got good value for my money. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to a friend.

Extremely well satisfied. I could not ask for better in all respects. See above for details. After the trees were down, the debris was inflitrated into the grass in both front and back, but the crew removed the large stuff by hand and the small stuff by first raking it up into manageable piles. They even used a blower after finished to clear sawdust, etc. from the walkways and drive. When they took a lunch break, they asked if they needed to move their truck so I could get out of the garage and driveway. Mr. Pruett provided a discount based on my Angie's List membership. The job was terrific, the price great (beating a competitor's estimate), and the overall experience one I can recommend.
