I have a couple of instances where branches were rubbing and they removed one at each location and cleaned up the rest. Outstanding! A team of 4 were here and finished the job in 30 minutes.

Horrible!! After discovering that there was a red tailed hawk family nesting in the palm trees and told to stop his crew continued to cut and trim. the end result is two out of the three red tails chicks had died from the 75 foot fall to the ground. the third chick has been taken to the wild life management office for assessment and brought back in a make shift nesting box's and placed in a tree to see if the parents will care for it. up to this point the parents are not accepting the bird box swap out. we will continue to monitor the red tail family and take the appropriate steps to insure the best for the family. The Game Warden along with wild life management has been notified and has responded quickly.

Tim came out within a couple of days to look over the job and give me an estimate. He was very professional and personable. He had some good recommendations as we walked around the property. He and his crew arrived a couple of days later and it took two days of work to get everything cut down, cut up, and hauled off. The trees and shrubs that were trimmed looked the best they have in a long time. I was very pleased with the work of his crew and would definitely hire him again.

It went awesome from start to finish. They started by answering the phone and making time that day to see what I needed. Several other companies just had voicemail and got back to me in the next few days. I got several quotes and this was the best. The work was completed as scheduled. I was impressed with the quality of work. They removed the tree and filled in the remaining hole with dirt.

We were unsure about what needed to come out & what needed to stay. They did a wonderful job knowing what to do. Very professional. Our yard has never looked better. Excellent company!

These guys came out on time, they were very professional, asked me what I needed to get done and within 1 hour they did everything. They had 4 guys total with them. Trimmed my 5 trees and also planted 2 small trees. All for $300. not bad I think. They also cleaned up everything. I'm so happy. Don't need tree service very often but if I ever do I'll call them again.

Called Tim to remove a tree trunk broken during a storm. Tim came out and gave me an estimate and talked about the other tree near by. Tim and the crew came and had the tree cut down and cleaned up the yard in a short amount of time. He also trimmed the other tree I had to make it grow better. The work was done in timely manner. I was very satisfied with the quality of work done. He also rearranged his schedule to do the work when I needed it. I would recommend American Tree Service if I need tree service again.

ATS was here early that day. They cleaned up the area after their work. It took 30 min to do what they did.

I thought the quality of the work was ok but the pricing was a bit ambigous and high.

The whole process was simple and quick. I was given a quote the same day I called in and after getting a number of other quotes I selected the American Tree to do the work. My only comment was that once the limbs were removed the the cut was not sealed, but I was able to do that in all of 5 minutes. Otherwise, the job was completed to my satisfaction.

Tim came out on Tuesday afternoon, took a walk around with me to see what I had that needed to be done. I thought it was a pretty big job, especially since a tree was being removed and another had a lot of pruning to be done. He told me he could do it, gave me the quote and said they could be out Wednesday morning. I work nights, so when I woke up the next day, they had already been to my property, removed and pruned everything and had left. I walked around the yard and was very impressed with the job they did. The large pruned tree looks terrific and you can't even tell anyone removed a tree from the front yard. Overall, fantastic job and I'll definitely use them again next time I need trees trimmed.

I contacted Tim via Angie's List because of the great reviews. He gave me a "drive by" estimate based on the work that I needed at my house ("drive by" because I was at work - and the trees are outside my house). I needed trees pruned and was not sure about one tree that I had. Tim called me back quickly with an estimate and gave me a prognosis on my questionable tree. Given that it did not do well with Oak Wilt and had a secondary fungus infection, Tim recommended it to be removed to preserve the health of my other oak trees. His crew arrived the NEXT morning and began to work quickly. Kenny was the main man on the job (I have yet to meet Tim) and he quickly oversaw the job and asked if there were any concerns that I had (the only being I wanted my neighbor's tree trimmed more). I was impressed with how quickly his crew did the pruning AND how well the cleaned up the work site. Within an hour the front trees were pruned and they began removing the back tree. I'm not sure how long the entire job was, but given the level of professionalism, I felt comfortable to go to work while they finished up the job. When I returned home, the trees looked fantastic and the sick tree removal was done so that there was not a stump above ground. All the associated limbs and brush were removed, the only trace that they were there were saw dust from the trimmings and great looking trees. I would definitely use their service again to maintain the look and health of my trees. A job well done and definitely in line with the Angie's List reviews.

Very prompt and professional. I called to get an estimate, the owner came out same day and explained each tree and gave suggestions. We got a plan and his crew was out this next morning and did exactly what we discussed. I would definitely refer to anyone looking for the no pressure/hassle service.

On time efficient - clean up after was great

It went well, they removed a couple branches and the trees look good. The tree service cleaned up after. You could not even tell they were there. They were quick about the work as well.

It turned out good. I do not remember how much the service cost but they were good overall.

Used Tim and American Tree Service four years ago to trim my 15+ cedar elms and live oaks. Was happy with past service, and while I selected another top provider because of price, was impressed with Tim's personal and timely communication. It was best of the three companies I considered this year, by far. I'll continue to recommend and consider Tim for any and all tree needs.

I was impressed with the man who came to give me a quote. He was competing against Brent's tree service. I called him back to tell him I had decided to hire another company, and he told me they were a good company. That made me feel good about my choice. I think American Tree Service is a good company and gave their name to my next door neighbor (along with the company I used for my tree trimming). They chose American Tree Service, and from what I can tell, they did a great job over there and were quite fast too. Both these companies are on Angie's List.

I was very pleased with their service. They did a good job. They were good and their price was fair.

They were great to work with. He was very professional and he gave great advice on how to handle the service as the trees were between two properties. They were able to do the work within two hours and the clean-up was very good, you could not even tell they were at my home. He was very cordial and he listened to me. They were not trying to sell anything at all. I plan on using them for the backyard of my home next time.

I used American Tree service before, found them thru Angies list--best buy service--everything, we have been thrilled!

We ended up selecting another service provider.

I only have positive things to say about Austin Tree Service. Tim arrived on time for the estimate, was very fair with his bid (I too three different bids) and when he came in second place, he lowered his bit to meet the lost. The crew was excellent. They worked fast and clean up everything. I had 4 trees trimmed and one dead one cut to the ground level. It was all done in less than a day. Good crew, good work and good day.

I purchased additional hours of work, and they ended up leaving early. I don't know how tree trimming services really develop their estimates, then pass that work order on to the staff doing the work. There was a lot of miscommunication, and a staff eager to wrap up and go home.

Tim and his crew (three other men) showed up on time and we all walked the property to go through exactly what needed to be done. Afterwards, Tim left and his crew did a great job cutting down the large Hackberry, cutting down several large branches from some very tall trees, cleaning up the trees in front (removing some dead limbs, getting rid of the crazy ball moss, etc). They started a little after 9AM and finished before 3PM. About two-thirds of the way in, one of the crew members checked-in with me to go through the work that was so far completed - we discussed what I felt needed some more attention and after that his team finished up shortly after. When everything was complete, I double-checked all my requests once more and all looked great. I feel safe that the leaning Hackberry is now gone as well as all of the other work that was done - my front yard trees look so pristine, can't wait for spring to come :)
