Work went okay. Some delay cleaning up on the following day, after paying at the end of the first day.

Fantastic job - it was very difficult because the crew had to drag up a lot of trees and branches up a steep hill. The trees they trimmed look fantastic and my home value increased many times what I paid for the trimming and removal. All of the neighbors have remarked how much better my house looks and I gave them American Tree Services name and number. Thanks Tim, Fortino and crew.

Excellent. When I called and explained what I needed, Tim came out within an hour to look at what needed to be done and give me an estimate. His crew arrived the next morning and did a great job. My trees have never looked so good. His crew sanitized their cutting tools and painted the cuts on all of the oaks. They then cleaned up and hauled off all of the cut off branches. I will definitely use American Tree Service the next time I need my trees pruned.

They did some work for us and we were very pleased with their service. They are basically a small family owned business and they didn't give us a corporate say type thing. They just were there. It was interesting, my wife was there, I was at work and the father kept calling the son to the people to make sure they were doing the right thing. So, it was family trying to run a successful business, so we felt good about them and used them again. They were good. They came in and a lot of other people said can you take care of this and they said "Yeah sure, we can take care of that." They were very helpful. We looked at others and we think their pricing was fair. We didn't think it was high. We thought it was appropriate for the work that needed to be done and we thought it was a good value. They cleaned up, did what was asked, and everything was clean and taken care of. The trees were done in the right way and no trees have sustained any harm. They said they were gonna be here and they got here. They were here for the whole day. They were here for longer than a day. They were here after 6 or 7 pm. They had a lot to do and so it was not about being here at a certain time. They just did what they needed to do and they did the job. As soon as we called them, they came by and gave us a quote and they looked at what needed to be done and they asset and gave us a price. My wife and I talked and I said "Let's do it," We wanted it to get done quickly. In regard to response to this, it wasn't just getting a contract green. They started the next day.

We were very pleased. They got a lot done during the time I had purchased. I was contacted right away about the service I purchased and the work was done a few days later. Did an excellent job with the trimming and cleaning the yard up afterwards.

I've used American Tree Service for over a decade. They do a ""remarkable"" job! However, as the firm / staff has aged they aren't quite capable of doing the sensational job they once did (2005). Finally, the owner always quotes a price that's about 20% - 30% more than he's willing to accept. I don't like having to negotiate the price every time.

Have live oak in front with extensive trimming and moss ball removal. Really cleaned up the canopy. Also have a cedar elm and two very mature arizona ashes in the back. One of the ashes is reaching its end, but they said it was good for a few more years and cleaned it up as well as the other one, and brought the canopy on the elm up so that there was no more head- or roof-scraping.

I can't say enough about Tim and his crew of 4 men, they were on time, professional and did everything we discussed and more. He hauled off 2 huge (as in 200 pounds and more each) agaves that I had dug up that I literally was unable to move and other brush/limbs I had previously cut down. All this without any input from me during the job (I was sick in bed with a sinus infection). This is an HONEST and PROFESSIONAL company. I would rate them A++ and I will definitely use them again. American scheduled me for the first day after it stopped raining. The crew showed up on time and worked quickly and professionally. The yard looked great when they were done. I misunderstood how things would work initially. Shortly after the crew arrived, one worker left to take a load of yard waste from a prior job to the dump. He returned much later. I worried that I had lost some of the time I'd paid for, but it turned out that the waste from my yard would be disposed of the next day, so I'd be getting back the labor I lost in the form of a dump run later. My only suggestion for improvement would be for American to bring a chipper to the worksite. It would've been fine with me to have wood chips spread on the ground instead of hauling the waste away, and it would've saved American the dump fee too.

They were prompt and efficient and did a very good job cleaning up the mountain of debris in my yard.

I am extremely pleased with the results, - the trees look great. The entire yard was picked up and all the debris was removed. The whole crew (3 men) was very courteous and very professional. They showed up exactly as scheduled and we did a quick walk through. I showed them the trees to cut back and they did the rest and finished right on schedule. I would certainly hire these guys again.

Tim came out the same day I called, spent a lot of time giving us our options, and was professional and understanding about our concerns and great affection for this tree. The crew arrived right on time and was organized and began work immediately and efficiently. They did exactly what we asked. These are great guys--pleasant and easy to work with. We have used them four times in the past with the same results. The tree looks great, clean-up is spotless.

The crew did a good job. They worked efficiently and hauled everything away leaving my trees looking neat and well groomed. I plan on having them back for further work that needs to be done.

Tim and his crew did an amazing job. I called them and Tim was at my house within half an hour. He gave me advice about dealing with the city arborist, which was greatly appreciated. He didn't have to, but he went that extra step. He was able to point out the branches which needed trimming and by the end of the day they did an amazing job of pruning the true to look beautiful again and hauled away ALL the debris. And he was friendly and kind to boot. Great company, I highly recommend them. Price was fair and totally on par with what I expected to pay.

I recently bought an older home and discovered that a large tree had a huge branch that was cracking and could fall onto the house. Tim was here that day and had workers handling the problem within two days. I was so relieved to eliminate the chance of a tree falling on my roof. Wind and thunderstorms have been hitting frequently in Austin. A month later, lightening struck two different large trees in my backyard, each falling in opposite directs onto my neighbors' roofs! Half of one tree that was hit about mid-trunk and was doing a balancing act on a smaller branch in such a threatening way that could cause a lot more damage and/or injuries should it decide to fall. I was horrified. Tim had his crew out by the next day to eliminate all danger and quickly remove an entire 40-foot broken tree plus half of the other one that was hit. He worked closely with me and the insurance adjuster to word things properly and increase the chance for coverage. The wording was a success and insurance covered $2500, the total bill. Thank you, Tim!

Tim was prompt in his appointment to view the scope of work, gave a reasonable estimate of the cost of the work, and was extremely accommodating in adjusting the work date to coordinate with the ongoing installation of our new roofing. The trees were well trimmed up, the canopies lifted to afford a better view, and the branches removed that were too close to the new roof line. Exact.y as requested. Overall -professional personnel, courteous communication, and quality work.

We were given a prompt estimate and a fair price by Mr. Pruett. The crews arrived on time, were skilled, worked hard and left the property neat and clean. All wounds on trees were painted and the tools used were sterilized to prevent oak wilt. We have been using this company for approximately 10 years and have been very pleased with the results.

They were timely, quiet, professional and left the yard clean. I moved here over 2 yrs ago; it's a heavily treed lot and the previous owner hadn't maintained his trees (ever?) American thinned out the trees, raising the canopy. I shopped his price and he was very competitive as well as knowledgeable.

I bought a coupon on Angie's List. Got a call from them shortly after. They came out and looked at what we wanted done. They then came a few days later and worked their butts off! They did more than what I expected. Everything looks great now!
