Southwest Irrigation Systems

It went well. It was fairly much as expected. I still use them for service. They seem to have a reasonable take on what needs to be done. They have a family owned feel. The price listed was for installation. We have a big lawn so it was a fair price for the job. The service call was $80-$90 which included replacing a couple of heads.

They did a nice neat job, but unfortunately we made the mistake of not testing the system before they left. Turns out that they had reconnected the piping incorrectly, and half of my zones were not operational. I called the company to report the problem, and they promptly sent a crew out to repair the system.

They were knowledgable, and quick. They arrived when they said they would and got right to work. It was simple for me and they did a great job. We will be using them again.

I disliked that it took them over a week to come out. Then they made several sporadic visits to try to fix the problem after that. But they did fix it so I am glad about that. One of their servicemen was professional, the other not so much. I would probably use them again in the future.

This is the second time that I used this company and the value and service that I received was exceptional. The guys arrived when they said they would and were very professional and efficient with their (and my) time. Setting up the appointment was also a breeze. I would use these guys again and/or recommend them in a heartbeat.

Everything went great. They were both pretty nice, and I'd use them again.

As new home owners my husband and I did not know what to do with the sprinkler system when a hard freeze is expected. I happened to come home during mid day and saw water gushing from our house. I noticed it was coming from the side of the house near the sprinklers. I called my plumber who - after I explained what I was seeing - told me I needed someone who understands sprinklers and gave me Southwest Irrigation Systems phone numbers and said many of their customers were happy with them. I gave them a call and the nice lady on the phone walked me through how to turn the water off (step one) and then wasn't sure if they could get someone out that day, but it may have to be the next day (it was 3pm). I was ok with that since we had turned the water off. About 4pm I got a call that someone could come over and fix it. And they did. They were very courteous - and very fast. I then asked for his card and saw he was on Angie's List - and I know now why they have such positive feedback. I will keep their number and use them again when needed. Thank you!!!

Overall, the work went very well. No more rainwater in the game room, and I was very satisfied!

Peter came out and evaluated the job, and later that day e-mailed me an estimate. After reviewing other estimates, I called for an appointment and the date was set for the following week. There was a one day delay due to rain, but it was prudent to wait until the weather had cleared. The crew started in the morning on a Thursday and worked all day - Peter came out that morning to be sure everything was clear to the crew. The city inspected the work the following morning and then two men came back that afternoon and filled in the trenches. There was one grate that was not in place, but Peter made sure that was completed on the next business day (the following Monday). Overall - excellent job.

Excellent work and service. Everything was done professionally from start to finish. Peter Hudson and his work crew were pleasant and easy to work with. The project took several days, and the crew cleaned up nicely before they left each day. When the work was completed my yard was put back to the same condition as before they started the work. There was a supervisor on site each day, and Peter came by on the last day to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this company and their work.

Went very well. Really nice folks. They asked me several times during the morning if I really wanted X or Y and told me what the price of that would be. It was nice that they thought about my bottom line. I don't think these guys are the cheapest, but I think they are very good and would highly recommend them. I did use my Angie's List coupon.

Overall it went fine. I now know what the problem is and how to get it fixed. My sprinkler system has been checked and adjusted as well. I would recommend them to others.

From they time they arrived they were incredibly efficent in getting the work completed which was much appreciated as they have an hourly billing rate. Within one hour he had looked over the system, made adjustments and gave me estimates for additional work I had asked him about. I have already called them to perform the work!

The gentlemen from Southwest Irrigation Systems showed up on time and listened to my description of the problem before performing any work. They found the problem, promptly repaired it, and checked to make sure the entire system was working correctly. They also replaced a faulty sprinkler head (which they showed me). I was only charged for the service call and the sprinkler head. I will call them again for future services.

Everybody was on time, professional and knowledgeable. They knew a lot more than the person that I currently use. They had a minimum trip charge but we certainly met that and their price was fair. They put the sod back and it looks okay.

They sent out two guys when I only expected one (so I got two guys for the price of one in my mind!). Both were exceptional in their knowledge of sprinkler systems and both were courteous and fast in their work. They did a lot of work in 1.5 hours that would taken me MUCH longer on my own. They also tested and adjusted all the heads they replaced to my satisfaction. I would definitely use Southwest again and in fact will if I need help with my system again.

The workers were prompt, pleasant and professional. The foreman explained how the job was going to be done and answered all of my questions. When the job was finished the foreman demonstrated how the system worked and he set the watering schedule. Also, when the workers left you could barely tell that my yard had been disturbed at all, by any type of digging. I am very pleased with this company's work, customer service, and how they do business. Recommend!I

I contacted this company to check my sprinkler system (residential, 5 years old) and, I thought, to add outlets to the area between the sidewalk and street. David and crew arrived early. They determined that I did not need additional outlets. Instead, they replaced several sprinkler heads with an adjustable model, a much less expensive solution to the problem. David also explained the best protocol for preparing the system for a hard freeze. Knowledgeable and professional.

They were great. I used them 3 years ago and they actually remembered who I was. They were good enough that we called them again. I would give everything an A.

Iinitially work was not done according to the drawing, the system only covered a little more than half the area. His proposal stated heads to be 12" from curb, which they were not. The required rain sensor, which was on the bid was not installed as agreed until I made several attempts to get it done. The warranty was not given to me at the end of the job, I had to call to get it. The issues were all finally resolved, but not without many calls to the company & 5 subsequent trips to the site. The work was very sloppy & my patience was tried to the limit. I will never use SW Irrigation again.

Helpful person answered the phone and told me of their prices. Said someone would call later that day to set up a time. Got call from Peter around 4:30, we agreed on 8:30 to 9:30 next day. David and a co-worker arrived close to 8:30 and set to work testing the system. Unbelievable work pace, they finished in 1h 15m! Very polite, very nice crew. Excellent overall experience.

Appointment made and kept as promised. Technician explained nature of the problem before initiating repairs along with an estimate of the cost. Repairs completed the same day. sytem functioning properly now.

This company is excellent in every way. Peter is a smart professional and the drainage system he installed can handle a serious flood without even holding water. I highly recommend this company for piece of mind if your yard has drainage problems.
