Southwest Irrigation Systems

The following issues were addressed: -Found and repaired a broken drain line for the water softener. -Tightened up some leaky sprinker heads. -Fixed a sprinkler head that was shifted due to root growth. -Found the timer to my lighting system had failed. I bought and installed a new timer after he left and now the lights work properly. -Showed me and my girlfriend some tips on how to more efficiently use the sprinkler system. This will be especially useful if this summer is as hot and dry as in 2011. Aussie was prompt, polite, helpful, and efficient. I would definitely have him service my system again in the future. The fact that the company takes AMEX and other credit cards made it a smooth, convenient transaction. I feel that for the level of service provided, it was worth having him come out to help.

The showed up on time, checked things out, gave me an estimate and completed the job.

I have a contract with them for maintenance and it’s roughly around $70 or $90 that I usually pay them. Then I changed a few little things and so it’s somewhere around that number that I pay them. They are very professional and prompt. They did what they had to do and took care of things. So I’m happy with their service. I would give them the best grade. I didn’t go and get bids but I think they’re reasonable in terms of price. In the absence of any others, they’re good. Their quality is good. I will use their services again in the future.

They come out, inspect my system and repair or advise me of any update to my system as necessary. They check my timers and advise of any changes I need to make. They arrive on time and are courteous.

They are very professional but friendly and they do a great job. I felt it was very reasonable for the work they had to do.

sprinWe had ugly PVC piping to elevate the sprinkler heads in the backyard. Unfortunately, the dogs running along the fence after squirrels broke 3 of them. I wanted something more aesthetic and more durable. I found Southwest Irrigation on Angie's List. They offered contacts by email (my preference) or phone. I got an email back Monday, had my appt scheduled for Tuesday, the gentlemen who came and did the work gave me an estimate, and because it was so reasonable, I had all the heads replaced with lovely 12 inch popups! No more broken sprinkler heads. No having to look at ugly PVC piping. These folks are incredibly professional, they know their job, and we will back with them as soon as we are ready to reorganize our backyard. This has been the best service experience I have had in a long time!

Prompt calls. Strong finish. Repaired wiring, and replaced one fixture and one electrical box. I was impressed with the integrity of company. THEY found a math error on the bill back at the office, called to send me a check! Everyone makes mistakes, but they quickly found and corrected it. I am very pleased with the finished product and experience!

I spent a good amount of time going out for quotes for this project. I was extremely impressed with how professional and responsive Southwest Irrigation was. Throughout the quoting process I had several questions about specifics related to sprinkler systems and what / why things were quoted. If they were not able to provide me with an answer via email within 30 minutes I would get a call from Peter to explain specifics over the phone. Peter Hudson was excellent to work with. I have future plans of putting in a pool in the backyard, and Peter came out to the property to see where I was planning on putting in the pool. This way the sprinkler system install would be easily adaptable to the pool. The crew that came to do the install of the system were also very professional. They cut up the sod and placed to the side so that I wasn't left with a bunch of dead grass. Eddy (i think) was managing the installation of the system. He was very professional and easy to work with. He walked the property down with me prior to the install to make sure I was in agreement with the design.

I was very please with their response to my call and the services preformed.

They did a nice job. They arrived when they said they would and performed as I expected. It took a few days to cover up the portions of the system that had to be inspected, but I anticipate this was due to city inspector's schedule and not Southwest. I had five companies come out and bid. They were not the lowest bid, but were within $200 of the lowest bid and were significantly more responsive / professional. I have recommended them to several neighbors and would work with them again.

Southwest Irrigation Systems arrived on time, alerted me about a leak in my sprinkler system, fixed the leak, and installed a drainage system. They were very professional, worked quickly, cleaned up, then walked me through all the repairs.

Everything was fine for a while. After a few weeks, I noticed a portion of the lawn becoming brown. I phoned Southwest, and the technician they sent claimed there was a problem with broken valve and a controller for which I paid $238.50. I did not find it fair, but I paid the fee regardless. Now, the same section of the lawn is still brown. After speaking with Southwest once again, they informed me that I would have to pay another service charge for them to return and fix a problem that should have been resolved already.

My neighbor recommended them to me. . I don't have an electrical system; I turn it on and off manually. The guy said they could put in an electrical system for hundreds of dollars. I said that I didn't have the time or patience for that. He said that he could fix it and make it manual so I could do it myself. He did and I was charged a fair price for the work they did. The experience was excellent.

We had a zone error showing on the controller and one of our zones was not operating. They came and took a quick look, narrowed down the problem and fixed within 20 minutes.

Came to our house, gave us quote and did what they said they would do.Very Professional.

They arrived on time and in a matter of one and a half hours replaced 17 heads, 1 zone sensor. reprogrammed the timer and fixed the rain sensor. Very fast and efficient, I will use again and have already referred 2 of my neighbors.

I would rate rhis company A+. They procured city permits, completed a survey, then did the work which I requested. Everything was done in a professional manner, and I am very much satisfied with the job peerformance.

They are prompt and neat. Their pricing is very good. I will definitely use them again in the future if I ever need them to. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else in our area.

We were having trouble with our irrigation system. We were not getting enough coverage in some areas of our landscaping. They replaced some sprinkler heads and reworked others. They arrived on time and did a great job. Our landscape is now looking so much better.

Because we live in a patio home, we do not have assess to one side of our home. Our neighbor commented that the soil on our zero lot line was cracking and suggested we install a drip hose. Because we did not have a bib in a good location. we realized that a drip line could be added to our existing drip system in our back yard. The workers installed a double drip line so that our foundation would get enough water, especially with the drought we are having. I had used this company before and was quite happy with their work. I also like working with local companies. I also used a coupon from Angie's list and saved 5%.

The overall job took about 45 minutes. I was totally satified with the service

I called and they got back with me within a few hours. They were on time and efficient. They did not tear up anything else in the yard; the stuff they did have to dig they put back the best they could. I couldn’t say enough good things about them. I would definitely recommend them.

Based on reviews on Angies List I called SW Iirrigation to identify issue with Sprinkler controller blowing a fuse each time circuit # 5 was activated. Appointment was made on a Tuesday for a Friday appointment, pricing was made clear to be $96/hour, 1 hour minimum, billed in 15 minute increments beyond that, basically no free estimates. They schedule a range of time to show up, in this case, between 1 and 4 PM. The crew of 2 arrived and went right to the controller box in the garage with OHM meter to find problem. Found it in no more than 2 minutes. I showed them exactly where the valves are located and with in 5 minutes they diagnosed the failed valve, found a broken pipe, and had it dug up very quickly. Actual repair time was about 40 minutes, had to wait another 10 for PVC cement to dry, then ready to confirm fix. After that they checked each sprinkler head, adjusted those that needed it, replaced 1 leaking Rainbird sprinkler, and one nozzle. All of this completed in 1 hour and 15 minutes from they time they arrived. The cost was right at $200, which is about what I had guessed, and seems reasonable. They worked effectively at a very quick pace, no chit chat - not wasting anytime, which I appreciated. Job well done - 30 day warranty - system works fine - would use them again. Tip - to save time - know exactly where your control valves are located, know how to operate your controller and be prepared to assist with turning circuits on and off quickly as they work.
