The overall job was performed in a highly professional manner and the the service personnel were cordial and arrived on time. The servicee personnel were very knowledgeable and most important were able to explain the situation in terms that a laymen (such as myself) was able to comprehend.

The job went very well. My initial call was handled politely and efficiently. The two workmen came on time -- actually early. Brandon Walker was polite and very knowledgeable. There was some initial concern that the low-pressure problem might be solvable only by adding a zone and buying a new controller (expensive), but they were able to solve the problem by making small and relatively inexpensive adjustments. I will certainly call Southwest Sprinkler the next time we have a problem with our system.

Excellent customer service from Brandon and his team. I call to schedule an estimate for repairs after reading reviews on Angie's list. The cutomer service rep explained the pricing and scheduled the appointment the same day.They came out the same day and were very polite and professional. They fixed the problem and programmed the system for me. Great customer service still exists!

Came on time, needed minimal supervision, very polite, cleaned up the messy holes they dug in the grass, got the job done in about an hour. I gave a C for price which is "fair", but given my past experience with others I feel good that all the zones are fixed once and for all.

They did an excellent job, cleaned up and did the job on time. Everything was inspected and I am very pleased. They used top-of-the-line equipment and the price was reasonable for what they did. They put in a full day's work and were here when they said they would be. They were very professional.

This was our second time to use Southwest Irrigation. We had a wonderful first experience and so came straight back when we needed help again. The technicians came out on a HOT day with cheery dispositions and lots of skill. They made the repairs quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend these folks to anyone who needs to upgrade their irrigation or install a new one!

Their price was very reasonable. I got quotes all the way up to $2000. The two gentleman that came out were very professional and easily identifiable. They worked quickly and did a great job.

Brandon and his crew were here on time and got to work. It was a 2 day job, but they replaced pipes, fixed the leaks and set up the wiring system again. The water coverage we have now is better than the coverage before. I would use them again.

When they determined the source of the leak over the phone through a series of questions, they made the job a priority and were punctual in the time frame that they said they would arrive. They found the leak, fixed it, and left the front flower bed looking undisturbed after they had finished. I would definitely use them again.

I used Angie's list to locate 2 companies and had one prior estimate. I chose Southwest Irrigation because they are close enough to my home in the event of an emergency and Peter Hudson was pleasant and helpful but businesslike. He gave a discount but I upgraded the sensor bringing the cost back to the $2700. He explained the length of time it would take before they came out due to the need for permits etc.They did everything they said they would and in the timeframe stated. They were patient with my questions and showed me how to operate the system if I wanted to change anything. I feel that I can call them if I have a problem in the future and they will come out.

This is the 2nd time I have hired this company. These guys waste no time. Entire job took only 1 hour and 40 minutes. Our original controller was blowing a fuse, and not operable. Aussie and his helper went right to work - had the problems identified very quickly, and worked at a rapid pace, which I really appreciate. The pricing quoted was right on the money with no hidden fees, and a detailed, itemized bill was presented. I plan to have them back in a week or 2 to add one more zone to cover recently added landscape.

Called in and got estimate over the phone. Estimate was accurate. The appointment was scheduled on the time I requested, and service happened on schedule. Workmen were friendly and polite and very helpful. They provided careful patient training on using new system, and area was clean when they left.

Recently moved to a home with a sprinkler system in front and back yard. System had been here for a number of years and I am "new" to the world of sprinkler systems. My attempt at a "do it yourself" repair of problems resulted in an unwelcome cold shower for myself and no water for the lawn. Cliff and Daniel (with Southwest Irrigation) arrived promptly the following morning of my call and saved me from myself. Cliff outlined the work that would be needed, suggested alternatives (repair vs. replacement of valves), explained the warranty of new materials and gave me a "worst-case-scenario" estimate for the work required. These gentlemen didn't waste any time and had everything working in an amazingly short time. I will definitely call them in the future for any new or repair work required for my sprinkler system. I'm going to contact them soon regarding existing landscape lighting that is on the blitz. Great Company.

I had an excellent experience. Would highly recommend them. The technicians arrived on time and were very courteous. They quickly diagnosed the problem and explained everything to me in layman's terms. They made all the repairs right away and everything is working great now.

Overall, I was very satisfied. They were professional, punctual, gave me a quote on the phone that they stuck with. They charged me an hourly rate but they didn't drag their feet, instead the two men who came over were methodical and quick. They priced out every part for me before replacing it (the part prices were reasonable). Finally, they tested the system for me (outside the hourly rate) before leaving. I would certainly use them again and have already recommended them to my neighbor who is having sprinkler issues.

I had a 'leaky sprinkler head'. I originally had asked my property management company to recommend me someone. Their landscaper originally came out and quoted me $250. I didn't have the best experience with them in the past, so I wanted a second opinion. One of the residents in my community suggested Angie's List to get another quote. I read the reviews and also had gotten a Harris County Home Service Review Book that recommended Southwest Irrigation. When I called the company, I was a little 'scared' re: how much the end cost would be because they told me it would be $90/hour service charge plus whatever parts they needed to repair what was wrong. They didn't offer a 'free estimate' over the phone...so, again, I was a little scared since this is the 1st time I've used Angie's List or gone with a company without a 'free estimate'. But I read all the good reviews about the company...and DEFINITELY AGREE that it was well worth it!!! The technician was punctual and courteous. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately and fix it quickly. He was done in about 45 minutes...but since he was 'out there for an hour' anyway, he checked the rest of my sprinkler system and fixed a couple of other broken lines that I was not aware of. He also taught me how to use my timer system (new home owner :P). I would definitely recommend Southwest Irrigation to anyone else. Very reasonable price...plus, they give you 5% discount for using Angie's List! Extra bonus!

A friend had recommended this company to me last year (2011). I phoned for an appointment, and the scheduler was extremely courteous and asked all the right questions. They charge for their work by the hour and were able to fix problems we had in a very timely manner (even though it was pouring rain). I would use this company again and would recommend them to neighbors.

I contacted Southwest Irrigation Systems back in January regarding a quote for sprinkler installation at my residence. After speaking with Peter on the phone, I was able to get a quote very quickly from a scan of my site survey. The prices were in line with a few other companies with "A" ratings on Angie's list, but he set himself apart with his professionalism and timeliness in the quote. As well, he offered discounts for Angie's List members and for paying by check. I had some questions following the quote, which he and his staff were quick to answer. I scheduled the work for early March (my delay, not theirs). The crew of approximately eight guys showed up at 9 am the day of work (Monday). They wasted no time getting started, and by lunch had completely trenched and laid initial pipes for the sprinklers. In the early afternoon, they had everything in the ground and reassembled, and had started to test the system. I really appreciated that they save the grass in the front yard to re-lay on top of the trenches. From a distance you can't tell any work was done in the front. The back trenches were refilled, but that will grow back in no time. By 3 pm, all of the work was done, and I was walked through instructions on how to use the system. They took the time to answer my questions, and left the yard as clean as they found it. Even though they had scheduled the work for two days, they had it done in one (this was certainly a pleasant surprise I hadn't counted on, and it was attributed to soil quality, although those guys worked hard to get it done). I don't feel any quality was sacrificed to get the work done in a day, and the system is working great. I was very happy with the services performed, and plan to contact them for quotes regarding landscaping and other needs. I would definitely recommend their services.

Showed up on time, checked the system thoroughly and worked very quickly and efficiently. In order to check the system, the technicians had to turn off our rain sensor. They forgot to turn it back on before leaving but called the next day because they had remembered this and explained how to turn the rain sensor back on. I was very impressed with Southwest Irrigation Systems and will definitely call them again when I need my sprinkler system serviced!

The work was done quickly, efficiently and in on budget. My only problem with the company is that they had come out during the big drought to do some work, but didn't recommend making the changes they did the second time around. Had they done so, we would have saved a lot of plants and dead grass.
