They arrived right when they said they would and did the job quickly. They told me what they were going to do and how to turn system back on when I needed to. They were great.

My master bathroom started draining slowly...first a sink, then another sink, then I noticed when I showered, water would slowly collect (and eventually drain) in the bathtub. Eventually the bathtub was blocked completely. Plumber came and snaked the bathtub - no problem, no block. Plumber discovered that algae had started building up in one of the sinks where the A/C line flushes out. He cleaned out the algae and recommended puring a cup of bleach every 15 days down that particular sink. It's worked perfectly ever since. Plumber was courteous and helpful, in and out promptly, stuck to the price he quoted before started the work, and honored my Angie's List coupon. I'd definitely call him in the future if need be.

Excellent job, educated me on the system but did not pressure me to do extra work. I had him to more repairs then I initially hired him, and he gave me a couple of spare parts to do other adjustments.

We would definitely use Peter and his crews again. He is very responsive to issues with the systems. We are pleased with our system and only wish that Rainbird would design a new remote control. All is well.

They respond promptly. They are very competent - they know what they are doing. I have worked with them in the past.

I called them to look at my sprinkler system. I was extremely weak in the backyard and parts were broken during a tree removal in the front yard. They came in on Saturday morning thinking it would be a quick fixed, but it ended up being an all day event. They ended up replaced most of my system since it was hacked together over the years. They were friendly and professional. I'm not sure if the price was good or bad since I didn't get multiple quotes. I would recommend them in the future

Went great. They were courteous and efficient. They are experts at their work. I have used them for many many years and have never had a problem with their work.

They gave us a 5% discount for being Angie's members, and 5% discount for upfront payment. The experience was good, but I wish they would have cleaned up more. They took off the grass, and later, my builder told me that they hadn't put it back properly. The pricing was good.

My first contact was through a web page. Within 30 minutes I had a response via email (my preferred mode of communication) from Gail Jones (Office Manager). Gail stated the expected rates per hour and asked if I was available to meet with a service person the next morning. Day one I met with Brandon, described all the issues, walked through the issues with him. He and one other technician methodically went through each part of the system and tuned/repaired as needed. They must have dug 40 little holes trying to get everything tuned and repaired correctly. After he completed the day of repairs, he showed me each item he had repaired, why and how he repaired them, and demonstrated the system working correctly. He then explained that the reconfiguration work required more manpower, equipment and utility locates..but promised he would be back by next week. In the interim Ms. Jones contacted me agin via email explaining she had ordered utility locates and to expect people in the next few days from the Gas/Electric/cable etc. Day two (Six Days later) Brandon showed up with additional manpower and equipment and began the task of installing new runs where they were cut by my concrete guy, revamping old heads where possible, and making the system work properly. They did an awesome job. This is the second time I've used Southwest Irrigation and have been totally satisfied each time.

I contacted and made an appointment (I needed a saturday) about 10 days in advance. The appointment was scheduled for sat sept 14th 12-3pm. They called to confirm the appt on Friday, the day before. I waited around the house until 4pm on Saturday, calling the office and leaving two messages. I finally heard back at 430. The technician said he was late and asked if he could come then. I had left the house, and said "no". They offered no compensation for my four hour wait and when I stated rather than reschedule I would prefer to find someone else he said "Id do the same thing." I am giving him a point for professionalism for admitting his mistake but.. I would not recommend this company in any way. In my experience they dont deserve their A rating. Ill be looking elsewhere. EDIT: The owner called me today - they do not answer their phones or return calls on the weekend - to apologize. He seemed genuine and based on other reviews my situation is probably atypical. I told him I had scheduled with another company. He said they could offer me a discount. He offered to come out the following Saturday and his discounted price (15% off $90-95/hr rate) was $4/hr lower than what the new ($85/hour - Also "A" rated on Angie's) company was offering. I decided to stay with the new guy. I would have liked him to say: "our assessment of your system will be free" and/or "we can be out there after 4pm one night this week to accomodate your schedule." While both/either of those might be a bit more than what I would expect from a typical company, that is what I expect from a company this highly regarded on Angie's. I could be feeling ungrateful but making me wait an additional week and offering me what amounts to an $8 discount (based on a 2 hour job and a competing quote from a comperable company) doesnt make me want to break the appointment with a new company. If you DO decide to use these guys defintely get a workable phone number, but my advise is choose someone else.

Arrived on time and quickly made the repairs and adjusted heads and coverage. Very friendly and professional. Couldn't ask for better service!

David showed up on time calling me before arriving. There were two employees, they knew what they were doing and did it in a fast and very efficient way. Their work was very proffesional and they worked together doing the job. Quality work. I was happy to pay for the job they completed.hurst

I called Anita this morning and Michael came out this afternoon. The sprinklers haven't come on in the back or front in a year and a half. Michael quickly diagnosed that problem (valve off). While testing the system he found/replaced the broken heads and pipes and replaced the solenoid on one outlet. He showed me how to program the system and was done in 2 hours. I am thrilled

They were extremely responsive. I had a phone call back with two minutes to schedule service. They were very up front. They sent a technician, they were on the spot and did the work pretty much right away. They had everything fixed, went over the system with me and made recommendations. They were very prompt and professional. The guys were good to deal with.

"Mike" called to say that they were 20 minutes away from my place. They came at the set appointed time range. After showing Mike the problem areas, he thoroughly checked the entire sprinkler system and its different zone area. After analyzing the situation, he explained to me thoroughly the problem and the recommended solutions, also the closeness to the approximate cost for the job. 1) Zone 3 had a broken rotor. 2) Zone 5 where 4 areas were always wet, he found out that the multi-leak problems from the 3 sprinkler valves was caused by a diaphragm valve from the zone 5 sensor area. The roots were infesting the valve to split. His recommendation; for zone 3 was to replace the rotor; for zone 5 replace the diaphragm valve and clean the housing, Total Cost : $167.20; which was within the price range he had estimated. Mike is courteous and respectful person. He is knowledgeable; knows what was wrong and took the right steps. I have not problem recommending Southwest Irrigation. Excellent work done.

They were punctual and very friendly and professional. Explained everything in detail what they did. Michael was the repair technician and I really liked him. He is very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again. I was also able to use the 5 % coupon that Angie's List had. That made the cost very reasonable.

I called asking about sprinkler repair. The receptionist spoke clearly, with no accent or any apparent distractions. She said I was outside their coverage area and asked me to hold for a moment to see if anyone else could do the repair. I assume she is going to refer an affiliated company, and I happily waited. She comes back a few seconds later and says "I have just been informed that you are inside our coverage area". I indicate that I am happy. She then said "have a nice day". I say wait, didn't you just say I am inside the coverage area? She says "no sir". Well OK, weren't you looking for an affiliate that is inside my coverage area. She paraphrases "oh, I was looking for an affiliate inside the coverage area". I say yes, and after a few seconds of silence she again says to have a nice day. It was a very bizarre conversation. I wish I could blame it on distractions or language barriers, but that did not seem to be the case. I am glad I am not inside their coverage area.

I called @ noon on a Monday for a sprinkler pipe that broke and was flooding my backyard and 2 neighbor yards. They were there by 1:00. Very professional and thorough. I will use them for all my sprinkler repairs in the future.

The two gentlemen who came to fix our sprinkler head are awesome!!! They are very efficient and thorough. We would love to recommend this company to others who may have irrigation system problems--not only for their outstanding work but also for their honesty. Since the minimum charge for them to come out is at least one hour and our original request only took them less than 15 minutes to finish, they go beyond our original request to thoroughly check out the whole system--and within one hour they correct other problems!!! Now we do not have to worry our irrigation system at least until next time our lawn mower kills another head......

I love these guys. Super professional. I could not believe how much work was involved in installing our system. They put in top of the line everything. I don't think one inch of my yard doesn't get watered now. We have fought for years to keep our grass from dying, but with busy scheduled and super hot weather, we would fall behind and our yard would die. After installing grass again over and over every year, we realized it would be less expensive to put in a sprinkler system. I would recommend them to anyone. The lady that answers their phone for them isn't always "Perky" or "pleasant" to talk to, but don't let that scare you off from them. They are a great group.
