In general it was a good experience, but there were some issues with cleanup. I was not extremely happy because I had to call them back and they had to come back out and clean up some things. I also called the owner about 6 months ago to come out because we were still having the drainage issue. He told me that he was going to send somebody out to do something, but that has not happened so I am not going to use them again. August 21, 2014 The day that this review appeared, the owner called me immediately. He apologized, thought that he had sent a crew out and that the problem had been resolved. As a good consumer, I should have called when he did not return. When Angie's List called (August 20) I answered their questions honestly--even though I had never contacted the company again to give them a chance to fix the problem. At any rate, he sent a crew out today and they fixed the issue swiftly and professionally. All is well that ends well.

Very professional; discerning and prompt in making repairs

They were very nice and did fine on replacing the box and moving sprinkler heads. The issue was the clogged drain between my pool and the street. To fix it, they wanted to dig up my entire drainage system for 2000. I put that on hold and called my plumber who did not even charge me. He took care of it in a few minutes.

Project went very well, we are very satisfied with the end result.

I was very impressed. On Monday I called a few other places and they all had a 2-3 weeks waiting list. I sent a email via angies list to this company and had a very quick response explaining fees etc. I called and was surprised to hear they could come out 2 days later. They were here maybe 10 min and already knew exactly where the leak was. Very impressed with the professionalism of everyone. Would i hire them again? 100 percent Yes!!!!

Very smoothly. Mr. Hudson came out, did an inspection and gave me a bid. He and his team showed up on time, finished on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

They gave me a window of 1 hour but actually showed up at the beginning of the hour which was a major plus. The gentlemen who came out were very polite, professional and helpful. I was worried that my shut off valve that had rusted since last season would require replacing but after they inspected it, they remarked that I would be fine until the next inspection. (I normally have them come out twice a year, right before summer and before winter). He recommended that the handle be replaced and not the entire system which I thought was very honest - he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. He also suggested that I first try regrading the backyard because he noticed some low spots in my yard - before I consider a more expensive drainage system. I will definitely consider them for the drainage system if the regrading doesn't work. All in all, very pleased with this Company and their service.

Our yard is odd shaped since we are on a cul-de-sac and has multiple oak trees with large root systems. They worked around these obstacles to put in a system that provides excellent coverage for our yard.

I had 5 downspouts that needed to be connected to two different drainage lines. Michael and his crew did a great job. The cost of the job was 33% less than the other quote I received from a competing company. Overall great experience, and a great crew. I wouldn't hesitate to use SWIS again.

It was terrific. They did a real good job of taking care of the yard and cleaning up. The coverage was terrific and the follow up service was great.

Tech was very knowledgeable/professional, and the associate worked very briskly. Although the per replacement sprinkler (note only 30 day warranty) cost of $15 seemed a bit high (if I knew the leaks co, the labor component rate + time taken were very reasonable. Also no unnecessary/excessive work was recommended. System has been working fine since, except for a broken driveway-side sprinkler (self-replaced) , probably due to car backing over it.

I inherited an underwater sprinkler system when I purchased the house. Needless to say after a few years the backyard ended up with quite a few leaks, which partially flooded it and was not operational in other areas. I am not ready for a new system, but needed help in dealing with my water problem. They came out and were a joy to work with. Totally professional and friendly. They even fixed an outdoor drippy water faucet as a courtesy. We decided to cap off the old sprinkler system, which took care of the leaks and made it permanently nonfunctional. I will use them when I get ready for a new system to be installed. The price they quoted me was reasonable.......

These guys( Mike & Randy I think) are awesome. They showed up on time. Polite, efficient and most of all knowlegable! They fixed my irrigation system so it waters more efficiently and correctly. Took care of all the issues within one hour. Job well done!

When I called, the young lady that answered the phone asked about my problem, walked me through a couple of tests to see if resetting or rebooting would solve the issue; when those tests failed, she set up an appointment for two days out at 9:00 AM. On Thursday morning, the service man called about 8:30 AM and said thaey he were on their way. They arrived promptly at 9:00 AM and the technician went right to work with his electrical test equipment in the control box. He identified the issue in minutes, got the needed replacement part from his truck, installed the part and tested the system again - it worked fine. I pointed out two sprinkler heads that I had noted as needing attention - they replaced both heads, then ran through the system, checking coverage and adjusting heads as they progressed. They also found another rotar head that was defective and replaced it. All the work was accomplished in one hour - while not cheap, they were reasonably priced for the work done in one hour.

Showed up on promptly and quickly assessed work needed. Options to complete work were discussed and a quote was provided. Aussie (I hope that is right name) kept me updated on progress and took time to explain work until finished. Great experience from the first phone call to completion. It is nice to work with professionals.

After my water, sewer and streets were redone, four sprinkler heads needed to be moved about 15' each. Contacted Southwest irrigation to set up an appointment. They were able schedule me for an afternoon a couple days later. Crew showed up on time and completed the work in a professional and timely matter. They did a really good job of filling in the trench and replacing the grass. You can hardly tell anything was done. The only negative comment I have is the material charges seem a bit high.

Every aspect of this work was excellent. They were responsive in setting the appointment time: I called on Wednesday, they did the work on Friday. They showed up on time, were very methodical about doing the work: fixed several broken lines, added sufficient spray heads to adequately cover the area. And, considering the amount of work they had to do, the price was a bargain. I very seldom give this level of praise, but they deserved it.

Technician checked system and determined the wire connectors should be replaced in the rain sensor. Replaced parts and even found my control box that was buried in the yard. Cost over $100 since they charge by the hour.

the irrigation system was installed in '97 when we built the home. (A word of warning - NEVER get a pool after you have the irrigation system in the ground! ;-/ )? Anyway - the irrigation system worked fine - but last winter - I noticed a wet spot in the yard behind the house? didn't know what it was - but after it was around for a while? Investigated - and it was trickling out of one of the sprinkler heads - on a particular 'zone'? (area of the yard that is watered? I have 9 zones)? So, lived with it until it warmed up a little - then got out and found which 'zone' valve was leaking. Since I was needing painting and some other stuff this year - joined Angie's List - and looked up people to take care of it? Called up - scheduled the appointment - they showed up - I walked them to the 'zone' valve in the ground (it helps when you know where they all are - and which ones control 'what' ;-)? The guys looked a little surprised that I knew exactly what was up - and they put in a new zone valve - tested the system?. and left? No trickling now - and the system works fine? - now I just wished I was 20 years younger for all the dang yard work I have to do! ;-) >:-) I have no problems with this company and would call them again in a heartbeat?
