Description of Work: We hired this company to do work in our garden beds. Overall, the work they performed in the beds was okay (not great, just okay) BUT the workers damaged various portions of the irrigation system in the process. The vendor sent out its in-house irrigation repairman (although less than promptly) who repaired all but one of the irrigation issues and then simply left without telling us what he had and hadn't repaired. When we discovered that one of the damaged heads was still puddling severely after the irrigation repairman had been to our home, we called T.L.S. and asked to have the repairman come back out. The owner's sister, who was the person we were dealing with, agreed to send the repairman back out to finish the job but told us he was out of town for the next couple of weeks and she would send him back to our home upon his return. When that date came and went with no visit or word from the repairman we called the vendor again. This time we were told by the sister of the owner that the irrigation repairman felt that the T.L.S. landscaping workers had not caused the damage to this particular head so he wasn't going to repair it. We knew this wasn't the case because we had just had the entire system inspected, faulty heads replaced, etc., immediately prior to the the work being done by the T.L.S. landscaping workers. Long story short, T.L.S., which did an okay-but-not-great job on our garden beds, left us hanging high-and-dry when it came to repairing the damage they caused to our irrigation system. We ended up having to repair the damage out of our own pocket. We won't be using or recommending T.L.S. in the future because we learned the hard way that you can't trust them.

+ -1 moreI contacted TLS for multiple times over last 1 week and requested some one to come over to help me with the mowing and landscaping. Every time they told me that some one is gonna call back and no one did. They even gave a 3rd party mowing company my name and he came by to check and since he was not from the company I requested for, I said NO.

+ -1 moreRemoved old sod, leveled with topsoil, and installed new St. Augustine sod. It has now been two weeks since installation and the grass is looking great. The crew plainly was results oriented, very professional.

+ -1 moreVery thorough job. Our particular job was pretty extensive but they finished within one hour. After, they bundled up the trash leaves and branches for easy pick up for trash pickup. They would have taken the bundle with them and disposed of it but that would have cost an additional $150. We would most definitely use this company again.

+ -1 moreTony's Lawn Service did an amazing job at our house. I called in the morning and was told they would be by the same day. They mowed that afternoon. Because there was so much work to do in weeding and trimming bushes, they came back the next day for that. The quality of work was excellent, the people were very nice and the price was right for the work that was done. I'll definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreI had been looking for someone to help with landscape renovations and lawn maintenance and Tony's was recommended. So, I placed a call to the office one afternoon, but no one was available to answer so I left a message. I called the next day but again no answer. I called again the day after that and still no answer. I thought maybe office personnel were away on summer vacation or something so I waited a few days and tried the following week - still no answer. At this point, some would say give up and try a different company - that would probably be the right thing to do. But looking for quality services and Tony's being recommended, I called one more time after a couple of weeks and someone actually answered the phone this time (I did not inquire as to why the earlier message was not returned). General prices were discussed, my contact information was taken, and an appointment was set for the following Monday at 4pm. I arranged to be home all afternoon Monday but the appointment was not kept - no one from Tony's showed up. I understand scheduling problems can occur. I checked both the caller ID and answering machine and there were never any calls or messages of explanation from Tony's throughout this entire time frame. It seems that business is good at Tony's and new customers may not be wanted. Established customers probably receive good service. That's great. It would be nice for Tony's to let someone know, "Thanks for calling but we don't need any new business." To me, it seems unprofessional to set an appointment, then to not show up, and to further not call with any explanation.
Description of Work: No services were performed. Company representative did not keep appointment.

Description of Work: I looked up the highest ratest and in the area yard company. Tony's came up first on the list. I called on Wednesday afternoon. The lady at the company said they normally did my subdivision on Wednesdays but she would call her crew and see if they were still out here or if it would need to be the following week. She promptly called me back and although they were done in my subdivision for the day they said they would come out on Thursday and not make me wait a week. Finally someone that does my lawn almost like I do. :) They were excellent, trimmed a few bush branches as well. Even though I enjoy doing my yard, recent rotator cuff surgery prevents me from doing so. I will always call Tony's when I need a service!

+ -1 moreI called Tony's Lawn Service and within the week they came and mowed, edged, weed-eated, and cleared all sidewalks and our LARGE patio of any debris. I got a quote via e-mail and since I am on a corner lot it was a little more, but the job they did was VERY good. I have had many other companies say they are coming and not show up. This company is very reliable and affordable. I recently asked for a quote to trim some bushes and vines in my front and backyard and the quote was around $142.50, but that included trimming 2 bushes that are as tall as the top of my second story house and they have a special shape. That also included trimming a vine that goes to the top of my second story and into the sofit. They came and have done a great job so far. They were unable to finish the job in one day but I expect them back today. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and will be using them on a continual basis.
Description of Work: The mowed my corner lot, edged, weed-eated, and cleared all sidewalks and patio of debris. They have also started trimming bushes and vines in the front and backyard. Some of the bushes have a special shape and are 2 story's tall. One of the vines is also going up my chimney and 2 story's tall. This is not an easy trim job.

+ -1 moreFor the last year, we have using Tony's Lawn Service. When I first called looking for a lawn service, I called Tony's and 2 other lawn care companies. Tony's was the only one that responded to my call. I never heard from the other service. Tony's came out and checked our yard and gave us a quote. They are always on schedule, friendly, and respond quickly to any questions I may have. We are very pleased with them and will keep using them.

+ 1 moreTony's Lawn Service answered my call promptly and followed up readily with an estimate and lawn maintenance. He was very expensive but was able to explain the specific details on mulching and fertilizing. The lawn maintenance was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the lawn man was on time. He mowed, trimmed, bagged up the clippings and blew the debris off the driveway weekly. He cleans up all the limbs and clippings and leaves the yard in tiptop condition.
Description of Work: Tony's Lawn Service mows and trims our lawn regularly. They also weed, fertilize, and mulch twice a year.

+ -1 moreTony's Lawn does a good job on my lawn, and for the price, you just can't beat them. I have used them for awhile now and their work just gets better over time. They do a real good job with a bothersome palm tree, so I feel that s good. Whenever I ask them to do something extra, it is never a problem.
