Description of Work: I did not use Ken. He came out, and he did provide an unusually high estimate for a minor job. (He told me it would not take much time to do the actual work, but that everything had to be covered so that he could do the wall texturing.)I emailed him to say I would get other estimates also, but I wanted to know when he would be available if I did end up contracting with him company. He never replied. I think his estimate was way out of line because he really didn't want to do the texturing job. I would rather he simply had said he was too busy to do the job. | |I cannot rate his work because he never came out to do the work - but I can rate his lack of responsiveness. He stays extremely busy, so he must do good work.

+ -1 moreKen's Painting was originally recommended to me. He really does an exceptional and beautiful job! Ken has completed interior painting projects for me on 2 separate occasions. I would definitely use him again in the future. He is very professional and has a vast amount of experience. He was always prompt with his communication with me. The work was done in a very timely manner. His work was just as his bid promised and the cost of the paint was even included in the bid. He is an extremely hard worker and is very agreeable to the work that needs to be completed. Ken always showed up on time. He is absolutely trustworthy and honest person. I was more than comfortable having hime in my home working while I was not always at home during the day.
Description of Work: Interior home painting: Numerous rooms, niches & high ceilings - some difficult to reach areas.

+ 1 moreI have been using Ken's Painting Service for at least 10 years. There is no one better - more honest and obliging. He aims to please and always does a terrific job. He is extremely accommodating and again, this time, everything was done in a very timely manner and executed just as promised. There is no one else I would trust to paint in my house - besides me! (I have painted a lot of rooms myself - and am very picky )
Description of Work: Pressure washed house, painted exterior with Benjamin Moore paint (included in price), painted several rooms and extensive woodwork in the house. ( this included painting 1 wall of rooms in a contrasting color), and performed some fairly major sheetrock repair caused by changing out lights and moving their location.

+ 0 moreThe overall experience was uneventful for us, which is a huge plus. We called him to check his availability and he came out the next day to give us an estimate. We hired him that day and asked when he could get the job done. He gave us his schedule and surprised us by saying, and quot;No money up front - You only pay if you like the job!and quot; That was certainly a breath of fresh air since we have been burned many times by paying up front and not receiving the service that we expected. Thanks to Ken, we can show off our house in style!
Description of Work: Ken painted the exterior of our house and almost the entire interior. We are very happy with his professionalism and his service. The paint job makes the house look brand new! I would highly recommend Ken!

+ 0 moreHe and his helper arrived on time and completed the job in about 4 hours (for the painting) - he had to make two previous trips to complete the sheetrock patching and texturing.
Description of Work: Ken repaired large holes in sheetrock caused by moving light fixtures and painted the entire bath. This price included Benjamin Moore paint. He is very neat and reliable. I have used him for exterior painting as well with good results.
