Sunrise Plumbing

Our plumber, Andrew Avalos, listened to our concern (we are going to do major remodeling and wanted the easiest fix without total replacement). He determined the specific part that needed to be replaced and made the shower work perfectly. We had purchased a coupon for 2 hrs. labor ($99). He did it in that time frame and all we had to pay for was the part ($75). EXCELLENT WORK, ANDREW!!

Andrew arrived 1 1/2 hours late and worked extremely slowly. He estimated an additional 1 1/2 hours and $100.00 in parts, total of 5 1/2 hours to do the first repair on my list which was a broken pipe outside in dirt 6 inches underground. I was appalled but had to get it repaired because of predictions of a freeze the next day. He made multiple trips to his truck in front leaving the gate open and I have 2 dogs. He told me the PVC glue had to dry for an hour and sat there watching it dry rather than trying to take care of other repairs on my list. I called to talk to a manager twice beginning last Wednesday. I have yet to hear from anyone and am very disappointed.

Poorly they give plumbers a bad name - there are fair plumbers out there. I'M convinced that this is not one of them

I purchased a $257 bib replacement deal on angieslist. Reviewed the fine print and there were no restrictions. I made the appointment Friday and they came out right away on Monday. I wasn't home and my wife was there. They charged her an extra $130 for the job although there were no restrictions on the deal. They said it was because mine had to be soldered in and out. If there are no restrictions I don't see why I would have to pay extra for this job. I feel like they took advantage of my wife while I was not present by overcharging her.

They stayed on the project until it was completed. follow up was good

Jacob, a licensed plumber, contacted me 20 minutes before his timely scheduled arrival. He removed the old faucet and installed the new one in about one hour. He was courteous and answered my questions. He ensured the new faucet was working properly and he cleaned up after himself before departing.

The owner of the company was persistent in performing the work and following up until it was completed to my satisfaction.

Jacob and Andrew did a great job. Very nice and professional. They showed me the equipment and let me see the process as it was installed. They made sure I knew where all the cut-offs were and how to change the filter in the water softener. Great!

AWESOME! I wrote a review "immediately" after repair, but apparently that did not save! I cannot tell you how professional & helpful Jason was when he visited. I wish ALL contractors were so detailed & customer focused. Not only was he skilled at his job, he went a step further to explain in detail what he was doing to correct leak & invited me to watch. He also taught me how I could (easily) locate any future leaks. I asked him unrelated question about a tankless water heater. Instead of feeling rushed as if no time to chat (like most contractors), he spent time educating me about pros/cons based on my home. No sales pitch, just real information. Ironically, I am planning on upgrading to a tankless water heater (2) & will use Sunrise for this need. So, not only did Jason complete repairs of leaking pipe, his demeanor & time spent educating me will sell his company additional $$. Thanks Sunrise!

Our Home Warranty Co had sent out 3 different contractors trying to get our pool heater installed. The last contractor happened to be "Sub-Contracted" & he was not licensed & even put our plumbing for heater in backwards!! He also identified (possibly caused" leaks in our gas lines. Jacob Morgan with Sunrise Plumbing was able to fix ALL areas of concern. He even had me sit and showed me all of the leaks & how easy it was to identify them! The 1st thing he did after examining situation was give me his license #. I never asked for that & found it very professional! He went beyond just "fixing" the problem. He "schooled" me on plumbing regulations and showed me how pipe issues can deteriorate over time. Things I never would've expected! I feel rather "well-rounded" in my areas of knowledge & yet he taught me so much in the little time he was here! I was SUPER impressed! "I" brought up possibly changing from our old time water heaters to a Tankless Water Heater. I wanted his advice & personal feelings about them. He didn't push to sell me anything by ANY means. All of the conversation resolved around questions "I" was asking. Again, a wealth of knowledge. I am SERIOUSLY considering changing over to a tankless heater (not because of Jacob, but rather because I have wanted to invest in one). When we do, there's NO question...we will buy from Sunrise Plumbing. Thus, Jacob not only fixed the plumbing problem caused by previous Sub, but his value added service will win their company another sale in future. That means $$$$ for their co simply because a plumber they employ went over & beyond the expectations of ANY contractor (not just a plumber)! A+++ to Sunrise & Jacob Morgan!

Easy process using Angie's List Special Offer ($50 off service). Ended up replacing the water heater with a new Rheem (old one was a 6-yr-old Bradford White) and I added the extended 4-yr warranty (approx. $200). Andrew the service tech was professional and on time (and very nice!) and got the job done in 2 hours. They also haul away the old unit, plus send in the inspection paperwork for the city. A city inspector still needs to come out and check the work, Would hire again - thanks!

I contacted my home warranty company when it appeared that my 2 hot water heaters were failing. They were leaking through the auxiliary drain line. The company sent out a great plumber by the name of Jacob Morgan. This guy really new his stuff and is a master plumber. Another company was sent out earlier in the week and they were very rude and could not get the job done because they didn't appear to know what they were doing. The very next day, Sunrise Plumbing called me and was here. Within an hour or two, Jacob diagnosed the problem and determined that both of my heaters needed to be replaced. He was able to negotiate through the home warranty and was able to get approval within a couple of hours. Later that same afternoon, he was back with 2 brand new water heaters. These weren't 2 water heaters from Home Depot, he was able to get 2 brand new Rheem water heaters, the best heaters they make. This company is very professional and took care of business quickly. I was very impressed and will request them for any further issues in the future.

My technician, Jacob, is the BEST! He took the stems apart and showed me what happens with cheap plastic parts fail vs good quality parts and how they function. He patiently took the time to make sure I understood everything about the job, priced it responsibly, performed all the work with professionalism and exceptional expertise. I couldn't be more pleased with job or Sunrise Plumbing. I WILL be using this company again.

Sunrise as assigned to us by our home warranty company to diagnose and repair issues with our hot water heater. They came during the scheduled time, called 30 minutes ahead, quickly diagnosed the issues, worked with the home warranty company (which was very problematic) and quickly got a replace water heater picked up, installed and working! The plumber was very polite and informative. I will be using them in the future!
