Description of Work: We need electricity for a new shop installed , we paid 69.00 dollars for a estimate , the building is 24 x 35 with 12 ft. walls , to have the meter and switch panel installed was estimated at 3800.00 dollars , to install one 220 plug , 4 quad plugs , 6 overhead lights , and two garage door openers would have been an additional 8600.00 added to the 3800.00 . that is twice as expensive of 2 other estimates that were given for free . I guess we can buy one heck of a generator for that price .

+ -1 moreRockwall electric does not provide free bids. It cost seventy dollars for a technician to show up. I quoted the job exactly as I did for all three bidders on the project. The cost I was given was Four thousand, Six hundred and fifty dollars - Yep 4.651 That was 2.5 TIMES higher than any bidder in the area. I complained, told the tech that he would never get this because of the elevated costs. He told me that anyone that would do it cheaper was probably not licensed and therefore I might be taking a risk. Really? Do you really think people (potential customers) are so stupid as not to ensure an electrician is licensed ? Well. Don't waster your time or money with this one. At least not for construction/renovation . As an fyi, the project was completed for 2000 dollars by a licensed and very competent electrician who thankfully beat the pants off these guys bid.
Description of Work: I requested a bid for a 149 foot run of two 110 circuits, two outlet boxes, junction box for gate opener, and wire two post lights on the new gate posts.

+ -1 moreHAVE USED THIS SERVICE PROVIDER TWICE. THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY POLITE. I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT THEY TEST THE REPAIR AND MAKE SURE WE ARE SATISFIED BEFORE THEY LEAVE.
