Mizell and Moore Interiors

We moved into our home 3 years ago, and the budget for interior design we had back then was quite small for the vision we had in mind. So we kept certain areas of the house somewhat 'humble' while we saved up for what we really wanted. When we finally had the money we wanted to spend, we reached out to Heather Moore. The 3 words I would describe Heather would be Professional, Visionary, Respectful. Professional because she has the skills, the contacts, and the ability to get any job done. Visionary because her eye for detail can be quite small while at the same time remaining focused on the project as a whole. Respectful because she will not let your project spiral out of control, either in terms of time or cost. We met with Heather and we told her our original vision for the space, and honestly, she simply made it better. We had certain ideas about how we wanted the layout or the pieces used, and she did not dissuade us from our vision. Rather, she amplified it. Where we saw only one or two improvements, she saw another 3 or 4. If we liked a certain color or a piece of fabric, she could find a dozen ways to incorporate, accentuate, highlight. The rooms look bigger, brighter, more organized, and are a joy to be in. Not only am I satisfied with how this project went, I am actually looking forward to the next time I work with her. That is the highest possible recommendation I can give.

We were introduced to Ari Mizell after visiting a friend's home over the summer and being impressed with her decorating style. Ari is fun to work with. She has excellent design ideas and encouraged my wife and I to explore new design options. She repurposed some old built-ins and put in new, elegant and functional built-ins which will really add to our space. Ari has vision and covers the entire remodel process from conception to completion and finish-out. Her crew is professional, polite and prompt. They were respectful of our living space and worked within our time constraints. The one bathroom that she completely rehabbed including: floors, vanity, shower tiles, toilet, wall covering, accessory and lighting looks like a completely new space. In the kitchen, she changed backsplash to liven up the current granite and had her crew build us a built-in buffet and separate desk area which are both stunning and very practical. She put new granite in the master which has really changed that space as well. Lastly, her accessories have tied it all together! We will continue to work with her as we update other rooms.

Heather spent several hours with us to understand what we wanted for our home. She was excellent at keeping us updated on the schedule and was quick in responding to our questions. We had most of our 5k sq. ft. house repainted including two story ceilings. We had a closet removed and drywall repairs completed. She utilized all of our artwork and personal effects in the decorating. She pulled together a very warm yet polished look and was always cognizant of the budget. We will definitely utilize Mizell and Moore on future projects.

Little ladies that know what they are doing. They are all they say they are. I love my new kitchen. Look at their website they have beautiful work. I would use them for anything from decorating the living room to remodeling my bathroom.

my mantle was in need of updating, with a few accessories and use of some items I already had my Mantle was arranged in the way that it adds to the room, my entry way needed a new lamp to update the area; a lamp was found and added in no time. Upcoming projects were discussed to include what exactly needed attention first, this is not the first time I have used Mizell and Moore, I have been a repeat client since 2008; each time I had a service it was excellent in every area; these ladies know the people to contact, and have the skill to work within a budget and make your living space/home/office a reflection of you and most of all they are so friendly. Love them!!!
