Lake Pointe Custom Pools

If I could give 0 stars I would. Everything from quality to customer service. DO NOT build with these guys. They have no idea what they are doing, and they do garbage work.

I would hate for anyone else to experience what we have experienced with this pool company. We have had our pool completed since October 2020, despite being told it would only take 60 days and they started in June 2020. Since completion we have had heater issues that have costed us so much in gas bills. The concrete is already cracking the pump has broken twice and now they are refusing to replace the pump without us paying more, this should be under warranty. We can't even run or use the pump because it's spraying out water and it's less than 6 months old. So our pool is setting which will cost us more to get it stabilized again. The customer service is terrible despite the high cost for their pools. This has been a huge investment and we have been given terrible service!

Most unprofessional bunch. Do not meet for scheduled appointments on countless occasions. After trying to be understanding, I finally asked them to please call if they cannot make a scheduled appointment. Their response: "Call somebody else". I was livid. Do NOT use them. Once you are paid up, they ignore you.

Been dealing with an issue where the water on the spa drains into the pool after the equipment turs off. My pool was built in 2000 and it has a floor cleaning system. After working with 3 different contractors, the issue has been isolated to the clening system. i did not know who was the builder of the pool so, I had to go to the city to get that info. I first called and spoke with Cory Wyatt (son of Dick Wyatt). A service call was scheduled but no one showed up. When I called at around 5PM, I spoked with Dick Wyatt and he told me that he had no record of an appoinment so, I was a bit upset and hung up. Since Lake Point Custom Pools was the original builder and the contractors that I was working with did not work on the cleaning System, I was willing to give them a 2nd chance. This time, I wanted to speak in person so, I tried to go to the address listed on the website. It turns out that this company does not have a physical location on the strip mall. i did call again and spoke with Dick Wyatt. He stated that he remembered building the pool and told me that there was a "Check Valve" close to where the cleaning system is located which is in a different location of where the rest of the pool equipment is located. Dick also stated that the valve was underground and suggested that I need to try to dig th dirt and try to located it. Apparently, this company is now working from their home. We agreed on a second appoinment for a service call for later on in the week. I received a calll from Dick On Thursday 7/30/2015 and he left a message stating that someone will be coming the next day (late morning). On Friday, no one showed up and no one called to follow up. I have had enough of Lake Point Custom Pools with their un-professional service and communications skills. Do not recommend this vendor at all. Will search for another contractor that knows something about this particular cleaning system.
