Jim and his crew are true professionals. This is the 3rd time they have painted our home. As always their work is impeccable!!

James and his crew were here on time and cleaned up each day so as to disrupt our lives as little as possible. We could not have asked for better service or work.

Jim and his crew was great. They were professional, went above of what we have asked and did a fantastic job on the painting. He checked with us multiple times to insure that the color was looking as expected (as sometimes its just not what you thought it would look!) I would recommend him!

It was a pleasure to work with Jim and his crew. I received less expensive quotes but from my first meeting with Jim I knew he was a perfect example of the saying, "you get what you pay for." Jim was personally onsite and leading his modest and well-chosen crew throughout the project, The quality of the work was second to none and performed with the utmost professionalism. Besides doing superb work, Jim is a very nice individual. He communicates well, keeps his word, respected my property, and was considerate to my neighbors. He even pointed out a couple of minor repair issues on my home and addressed them without thinking twice about doing so. I recommend Jim and his crew without reservation, which is pretty significant for me because I hold individuals who work on my home to an extremely high standard.

Last month I had Jim and his crew do some work on my house. This month I had him do some repairs and paint the exterior of my mother's house. He does great work. He is quick, conscientious and cleans up after the work is done. I'd definitely use him again.

Jim and his team of two painters were very efficient, polite, AND very good painters. They had a eye for detail, covered up all areas, cleaned up throughly after they were done, and showed up exactly on time over a several day project.

The owner did the initial inspection and provided the estimate. Once we agreed on the price, we set up the schedule (2 weeks). The owner showed up with 2 assistants and was part of the team that did the work over a period of 4 days (day 1 got mostly rained out). Very thorough and clean job, very courteous & professional.

James Imbrugia Painting Contractor did a great job. He and his crew were punctual and professional every day. They took great care of my landscaping while painting the exterior, going so far as to cover an entire large Japanese Maple Tree before painting the house. They covered and protected everything on my home's interior when they worked inside. Jim knows colors, knows paint and knows his business. The end result looks fantastic. I already have him lined up to paint my mother's house.

I am 100% sincere and direct when I say flawless. They are perfectly on time. The quality of their work is the best I have seen in years and they clean up well after the job is complete. James, "Jim" is the owner. He spent hours on my job with his crew. This was not a case of a national company or a guy in truck with a magnetic sign that says painter on it getting our business. My wife and I did not have to worry about having a group of whatever in our home. Jim ran the job and his crew. My wife is happy so I'm happy. :)

Jim was on time & accommodating for painting. The outside doors that needed to re left open while we could be home. Painted the power box & Brown trim on two windows when asked after the job was contracted.

James and his men were very professional. They arrived on time and worked steadily for two days. They taped off areas so the paint wouldn't run onto the brick work of the house. They cleaned everything when they were finished and left the house looking like a new home!

Without a hitch. Because our only pre-storm bid was Jim's, I asked him to come back out and price siding replacement which he did within one week. It was understood from time of first bid that Jim was backed up almost two months, but I liked his reviews on Angie's list and the fact that's exactly had just the one crew. You have no danger of miscommunication between a bid/sales person and the crew that does the work. Jim kept us on his schedule even as the scope changed and our insurance accepted his numbers for the additional siding and carpentry which ended up over half the total price and tow thirds the work time. The final product is fabulous. Jim indulged my wife's desire to put a porch blue sealing in at no extra cost and matched the color of the new gutters and downspouts perfectly. His people have been with him for 3 years or more and all were professional, careful of our house, and understanding of the dogs trying to lunge at them through the windows. All was celaned no strightened at the end of each day and the final day everything was perfectly cleaned.

Jim and his crew filled gouges and holes, repaired damaged areas from wheelchair scrapes and touched up weathered window sills. My home's interior has never looked better ... he's not the cheapest choice but in my experience you don't get best quality with lowest bid ... great value!

Great. Jim is professional, detail oriented and also a really nice guy. After he painted the exterior, we had him paint the interior of our home. After they had painted an area, we would come back and mark if there was anything not perfect. Jim took care of it completely and with a smile every time. You can find large companies with multiple crews but Jim is the owner and works (on site) one job at a time with his four man crew. You have to wait your turn but it is worth it. There are cheaper and more expensive options out there, but next time I need painting (interior or exterior), I will call and get on Jim's schedule.

We have used them before. They are great. Arrived when he said he would, very neat, and very fast on the job. His painting crew is excellent !!! We have some more rooms that need painting and we will used him again. I highly recommend him.

As a practice everyone should follow, we got estimates from several other highly rated companies on Angie's List. This takes longer but valuable information can be gathered. How long do most people think it will take? What is the range of estimates or how cheap/expensive it is going to be? One contractor came in at surprisingly low price ($2700) but claimed to do able to do the job in only two days. That seemed like an unreasonably short amount of time to us. Not that our house is huge but it is tall and spread out. To this contractor, the quality of work didn't seem to be as important as the cost. Another company had a good track record and could probably have done a high quality job, but they seemed to be looking to us a just another "notch on his gun". Also, their estimate came in at a jaw-dropping $6500! Jim was professional and nice when he came out and gave us an estimate. While he was looking around, he pointed out a door that needed to be sealed which we hadn't noticed before. Thoroughness.... check. Jim's price was higher than we were expecting ($5200) but after comparing all our options, we decided to go with him for the following reasons: his experience, calm demeanor, thoroughness and the fact that painting is all he does... and he only does one job at a time. After waiting for good weather, Jim shows up on-time with his crew of three and gets busy. They power washed then sanded down the areas where the paint had chipped away. Two coats went on the raw wood and one over the old paint. This was because the paint he uses is both paint and primer. I was thinking that putting two coats on was standard, but none of the painting companies we spoke to do that. It is always extra to put a second coat. Jim was there working alongside his crew every day except one when his son came out. Upon completion, Jim walked around with me and I asked him questions which he easily answered. It didn't take long to realize he had done an fine job and included every single thing we talked about. Our hedge plants and flower beds came through it without any noticeable changes too. Even though there may be cheaper alternatives out there, Jim Imburgia is an excellent painter who does everything he promises. Hopefully we won't need to paint again for quite a while. When that time comes, we will not hesitate to call Jim.

After initially contacting Mr. Imburgia and telling him my needs he quickly agreed to come by my house in person to give an estimate. He showed up exactly when he said he would and called me before coming out. His estimate was fair, in my mind, for the work that desperately needed to be performed on the aging trim and a paint job WELL past its prime. He was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. He wrote his proposal down naming all the specific tasks to be performed in a concise manner. He did inform me it would be several weeks before he could start, and that the weather (understandably) could delay things further especially this time of the year. I fully understood that as I knew he was quite in demand, and I did want to use his company after doing my due diligence with other providers as well. With only one minor weather delay he and his crew showed up as promised on the date he told me they finally could. They did all the work I contracted for them to do and they did so in a professional, diligent manner and Mr. Imburgia was quite patient in helping me selecting the final color the house would be painted, painting examples of the different colors being considered in strategic places. They performed the work in the time period promised and always cleaned up any remnants of the tasks they performed before leaving for the day. I'm not the biggest stickler in the world but what few minor concerns I expressed were quickly and satisfactorily addressed. The whole job was expertly executed and the finished product was beyond my expectations. Mr. Imbrugia and his crew of 2 apprentices are to be commended for their level of expertise and professionalism. The 3 of them were a pleasure to work with and I want to stress that Mr. Imburgia is working right along side his assistants much of the time, and he was never too busy to visit with and engage in conversation quite often while he was working. I would whole heartedly recommend this fine painting contractor for anyone's home.

Jim has painted in our house several times over the last 16 years. He & his crew are always very careful with my things & everything is put back exactly where I had it. He takes the time to prep properly to avoid problems down the road. I have had other painters work as well, due to using a general contractor for big projects, and I much prefer Jim's work! He is knowledgable, communicates well and is always eager to please. I highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time we have used Jim to paint the exterior of our house. In my opinion he is the best. He pays attention to details, making notes of each little repair or any area that will need special attention. His crew is careful and thorough, and completely trustworthy. Jim is very knowledgable, communicates well and is eager to please. His schedule is usual very full, so there could be a wait but he does his best to work within your time frame. You won't be disappointed in his work!

The workmanship and professionalism were the best I've ever seen in painting. James Imburgia works on site with his crew, making sure attention is paid to details. They did a thorough job painting evenly and neatly with a good quality paint. They protected the house brick, roof and patio pergola from paint drift with various materials like tape and plastic wrap. James asked a couple of times before they finished how the job was going and if they were missing anything. Amazing! They showed up to do the work in the mornings as promised, did the work in good time (3 days including a day of prep where they power washed the surfaces) and left the premises very tidy when finished.
