Description of Work: On June 9th 2012 we signed a contract with Legend Construct and Design to put in a covered patio aprox 340 sq/f and an arbor to transition to our jaccuzzi for about 130 s/f. Mr. Simons claimed that if we did not put down a deposit wich was 3500 dollars, half of the total for the project we would miss out on the low prices of the lumber which the money was to be used to purchase. It took him till July 21th before he finally came over to do any work on my project. We failed inspection for concrete 2 times. Then it took 7 days before the concrete came and was poured. Then it took another month before he started any work with putting in the posts after he claimed he would be over the following monday to allow the concrete to cure. This was a continuous effort to get him to come out and do any work. My material that he was to have bought with my money never came. He would bring it over little by little and claim that he needed to pick new wood up because he ordered the wrong size. There was alway an excuse to why he could not show up. Finally on October 3rd the concrete and stone was put on and the patio cover was up but nothing was trimmed and no electric was done. My next door neighbor started the same project with a reputable company and his square footage is a litte bigger than mine and it took them 3 weeks complete the job. Mine is still not done. This contractor wants to be paid on work before it is even started. That should have been my ahha moment!

Description of Work: They created an outdoor covered living space 1100 square feet with fire place, outdoor grill, flagstone floor and fountain (which they did not finish)
