Description of Work: We discovered burned wood in our attic near the powered attic vent. I called them in a panic in the evening. They came out first thing in the morning and checked it out. The damage was years old and there was no current danger and nothing for them to fix. I was so relieved. I expected to pay a service fee, but they didn't charge me. Just asked me to call them for any future needs and I have. These folks are great!

Description of Work: The power cable from the pole to my house fell to the ground and the power had to be cut off until I could find an electrician to do the job. I called a few of the highest rated on Angie's list including Barney's. I left a message indicating that I had no power and the reason. I got a call back after two days asking me if I had gotten the problem fixed yet. The person that spoke to me had the problem completely wrong. When I told him what the actual problem was he quoted me a one of the highest prices relative to the other estimates I had gotten two days prior from others. I did not use them.

Description of Work: Actually did not use this service based on advice from Barney. He let me know up front that he couldn't do what I asked and referred me to another company. Was very glad he didn't even try to do something he knew he wasn't able to do.
