Had not used this plumbing company before but they are now at the top of my list. Called Wednesday afternoon and Casey said upfront he wasn't sure if he could make it Thur but for sure could make it Friday. That was fine, since our kitchen sink leak was not an emergency. Sure enough, he called ahead Friday as promised. The leak was no biggie, just a loose faucet connection where the faucet and the water supply meet. He and Michael his helper fixed it in a jiffy. His view is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" so he did not recommend replacing the faucet at this point although it's well past its prime. They also verified that the undersink pipes, etc. were in good shape. An excellent experience, and I will call them first next time we need a plumber.

They came at the time they said they would. After locating the leak, they told me what had caused the leak; what needed to be done to fix it; how much it would cost and how they would repair it so the same thing did not happen again in the future. After completing the work they showed me the new riser and connections before covering up the hole.
Description of Work: Called them to repair a gas leak on the main line going into the house. They had to remove a shrub, dig down 18" and replace the riser pipe going into the side of the house. The work took approx. 3 and 1/2 hours for two men. .

Called Casey Mitchell on Thursday, the 8th, for an estimate; set up time for Saturday evening or Sunday morning. He called Saturday evening and set up time for Sunday morning. He came Sunday morning, gave excellent suggestions and gave very reasonable costs for each project. He also suggested that on some other possible projects, "don't fix it if it is not broke." Called Casey on followingThursday, the 15th, left message and he called back within the hour. He said he might be able to come Saturday afternoon to work on two of the projects. He called about 30 minutes before he arrived to work on the projects on Saturday afternoon. Casey is definitely a master plumber who knew exactly what to do and completed the projects professionally. He left the areas clean. His final costs were consistent with his estimates. Casey was patient in answering our many questions and even had references for people that specialize in other areas such as tiling, handyman, etc. We plan to use him for the remaining projects and would gladly recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Kitchen sink - replaced the drain pipes system underneath; replaced corroding metal with PVC Shower facuet - refurbished the insides of an older facuet; replaced a corroded spout.

Fixed a leak under my slab, without drilling into my kitchen tile. Made sure my water heater was vented properly. They gave me an accurate estimate, arrived on time, and performed all of the work requested. They cleaned up after themselves, I am very pleased with the service, the price, and the results.

After checking prices to locate a sewage leak and finding they were in the $300 range, I purchased a $150 coupon for a $300 slab leak detection from A2Z Atomic Plumbing. The owner called me the next morning and explained that the coupon was not meant to cover sewage leaks but, since it was not properly worded and others had thought the same thing, he would honor the coupon. However, he did say that would cover ONLY the first leak. After that he would charge by the hour. Both my husband and I understood him to say the charge was $300 per hour and that multiple leaks could take 6 or 8 hours. However, he later emailed me that both of us misunderstood him. Anyway, we talked to several other plumbers and hired Accufind. They did a fantastic job. The BIGGEST problem I have with A2Z is that I understood from his email the next day that my $150 would be refunded. It is now almost two weeks later and I still don't have my money back! Because of that, along all the communication issues, to our great disappointment we would not hire this contractor.
Description of Work: I bought a $150 coupon for a slab leak detection supposedly worth $300. However, after both me and my husband spoke to the owner and learned the potential additional costs related to our project, we elected not to use this contractor. I understood the money would be refunded but it has not been.

They came out as soon as possible and turned our water off. (Husband was out of town,) It turned out the repairs were less than the estimate! They even loaned us a large fan to dry up the water and helped take out the wet carpet. They could not preform the work immediately since they were already in the middle of other projects. We chose to wait a couple days until they were available. We have used them before for water heater replacement and minor plumbing issues. They always have gone above and beyond. .

In order to obtain the warranty after foundation repairs a leak test was required. I called and spoke with Casey the owner. This was just before the Labor day holiday and he agreed to come out the Tuesday after.Casey came out himself and performed the leak tests in a timely and professional manner. All was well and I will use him again in the future.

Mr. Mitchell was very kind, conscientious and courteous and through. He spent several hours on the job to make sure everything was done correctly.
Description of Work: We had low hot water pressure through out the house, a stuck hot water faucet, a leaking outside faucet, and tubs leaking. Mr. Mitchell cleaned out lines at the hot water heater and adjusted the inflow to the water heated. He replaced the cartridge in the stuck faucet. He fixed the leak outside. He discovered the leaking from the tubs was from poor grouting. Even though it is outside the realm of plumbing, he went ahead and grouted where needed to stop the tubs' leaking. While on the job a new problem sprung up with the refrigerator water line and he offered to fix it for no charge.

I called A2Z Atomic Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend with a water leak in my house. Casey, the owner, was responsive and could have been at my house Saturday evening, I however could hold out until Sunday. Casey was on time Sunday morning and although the problem was a little more than "routine," was able to solve the problem within 2-3 hours. Excellent service, more than fair pricing when one considers the quick response for a first-time customer, and just excellent all around. I would recommend Casey and A2Z Atomic to anyone, first class all the way...

We called on a Sunday morning to request a Monday morning. A2Z called back within an hour and set up the appointment for Monday afternoon. On Monday, A2Z called to see if they could arrive early. When they arrived, they were in a clearly marked van, wearing uniform shirts with their names stitched on them. They went to work and were very thorough and clean as they worked. They were done with all four toilets and the drain in just over 2 hours. Everything was very clean, and we were given preventive maintenance advice going forward.

Casey was extremely responsive to my Sunday afternoon call. He diagnosed the problem in 20 min, located the buried valve box, and returned Monday to replace broken water line as well as replace the old cut-off valve and add a cut-off valve for the hose bib located within 5 feet of the main line. All work was performed by Casey himself or his assistant Michael. Highly recommended

We came home from a vacation and the next day (thankfully (sic)) our 14 year old water heater burst and began leaking rapidly out the bottom. Fired up Angie's List for the first time and found Casey and Atomic Plumbing. It was a Saturday afternoon and he didn't hesitate to state he could come by Sunday morning to complete - not just estimate - the job. I took a leap of faith with a verbal estimate over the phone that seemed a little high, but Atomic's work was excellent. Casey was very professional and answered all the questions I fired at him as he worked on my water heater replacement. Upon inspection he discovered that the previous owner had installed single walled ducting pipe through the attic and he indicated this was neither up to code nor safe - so I authorized him to replace it - at an additional charge (included the 1k total). I suspect that I might have been able to save $200 or so bucks on the repair if I had called around - but Atomic came out immediately, did a highly professional job, and got me OUT of hot water with my wife by putting our hot water heater back into commission in less than a day. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Water Heater removed and replaced from a hall closet. Drain line installed (but not run from crawlspace to vent (to save $)). Single wall exhaust piping removed and replaced with double wall through roof. Storm cap installed.

I had an emergency with a leaking water heater late Saturday afternoon. A2Z came on Saturday to replace a leaking water heater. Casey was courteous and professional. The price was competitive with the lowest ones I had seen - but A2Z replaced the leaking water heater within 3 hours of my call whereas the other plumbing companies I called would only come on Monday 2 days later. I went ahead and had A2Z replace my other water heater a few days later. They replaced both water heaters for the same price - no premium for the work on Saturday. Great service, good price, quality work - cant ask for anything else!!

I will never use another plumbing company. I called A2Z because the main bath toilet could not be flushed. The handle was completely immobile. I spoke with Casey, the owner, and told him that I have had problems with both toilets since we moved into the house, almost 8 years, and was tired of having to fix this and that. The master bath toilet would barely flush at all and it's always been that way. Jason and his helper came out the same afternoon and fixed them both in no time. My sister went with them as they were making their last check and Lisa said he took a BIG wad of toilet paper, to show her the power of the flush, threw it in and flushed it right down the drain. I've ALWAYS had to keep a plunger close by because if you let one little, tiny piece of paper go to the bottom you could be sure it would get stuck and I'd be plunging. In the main bath my mom, at one point this year, had actually broken the handle off because it was so hard to flush. Casey and Jason both said it was the WRONG handle for it. I had replaced it myself recently with a "universal" handle which did not fit properly but at least worked for a while. I just didn't want to call ANOTHER plumber after what happened last year the day before Thanksgiving. The master bath toilet was continually running and had started spraying water. I had stopped on the way home from work and purchased the parts planning to fix it myself - don't try this at home folks! I decided after an hour to call a plumber. I was frantic since we had people coming for Thanksgiving the next day and in my haste accidentally called another plumber thinking it was A2Z. They charged me $278 to "fix" the master bath toilet and that was using parts I supplied to him. He said he didn't have time to go get the parts so he installed the set that I had bought on my way home from work then stated he couldn't guarantee the work since he used my parts. Needless to say it began to run again after he left, at least it wasn't spraying water, but I never called him back since he couldn't fix it the first time and had said he couldn't guarantee the work. At the time I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and got burned because of it. After a couple of weeks the top popped off and water went everywhere and I put the top back on myself. A2Z restored my faith that there are still good, decent people out there. You wouldn't think you could be happy about a toilet but I'm so happy to have two toilets that work properly! I would highly recommend A2Z Atomic Plumbing in Rockwall, TX.
Description of Work: Replaced everything in both toilets with the appropriate equipment in a flash and they both work great! I wasn't there when they performed the services but according to my sister Jason said there was a necessary gasket missing from one of them. They are honest, quick, responsive, fair price and dang good! Thank you Casey and Jason! I give them an A+++ RATING

Went great. The plumber originally informed me about the issue the last time he was here (working on another issue) and said it was leaking a lot of water on that side of the house. In Texas, most houses will have foundation issues eventually and fixing this issue should help prevent any future foundation issues. I've had other contractors and plumbers here before and he's the only one that has pointed this out. This is the 2nd time I've used A to Z and I'll keep using them. Good Quality work at reasonable rates!

Service was great. Atomic was very responsive and did the work well at a very reasonable price. The work was done on a home that I inherited and was selling. The leak was identified during the buyer's home inspection via the water meter. I needed the leak identified and repaired at a reasonable price, and had to demonstrate to the buyer that there was no additional leak. I also had a very short time frame before option period expiration to get this done. Great job and thanks!

A to Z plumbing arrived the day I phoned (Sunday) to analyze the problem and set up an appointment time. They arrived on time on the scheduled day and repaired the leak within the estimated time I was told it would take to fix. The actual price was $ 1500, but I used my first Angie's List coupon for a $100 off a slab leak repair. I very satisfied.
Description of Work: A -Z Plumbing repaired a hot water line leak in the foundation by rerouting a new line from the water heater into the attic. The old line was tapped off from the water heater and a new hot water line branches up into the attic and comes down through the wall by the washer and dryer.

After heavy rain on Tuesday, we woke up to a good bit of water in our den. We believed that it was rain related flooding, but given the location, it could just as easily have been pipe/drain related. After speaking with the incredibly unhelpful insurance adjuster, we called A2Z. They came out within two ours and quickly diagnosed the issue (a malfunctioning french drain, etc.). After a thorough inspection (water meter, crawl space, etc.), they reassembled the drain as well as offered advice on the exterior and how to prevent a future issue. We are grateful for the quick response and professional assistance. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

I called A2Z in November, after Thanksgiving when my downstairs toilet developed a clog and stopped flushing. They were the only company who could come on short notice and if I remember correctly, was able to come first thing on a Saturday, the weekend of Thanksgiving. I appreciated their flexibility and had them unclog the line. It took a while as they couldn't figure out exactly which line to snake but eventually got it. I paid $160 for this service. If this was all, I would've given them As in all categories. However, 3 weeks later, the same toilet clogged again. I thought I saw a guarantee on their paperwork that if the same problem occurred withn 4 weeks, they would come out again for free... So, I called but was told that I had misread the fine print, which indeed I had. They don't actually guarantee the work, just the parts. So, since I was already on the phone, they told me they could come out again (I believe the same day) and unclog the line, then run a camera down to see what the problem was. They would charge $200. not wanting to have to call around and try to find someone who could come the same day, I agreed. The same team came out to my house. After unclogging the line and running the camera, I was told that there appeared to be some 'cottony' stuff in one of the lines (which they couldn't remove) and the camera couldn't get past it. The gentleman then advised me that the same problem would probably happen again and that his recommendation was to not flush any toilet paper in that toilet or the one upstairs which is connected on the same pipes. He then gave me a bid for replacing the line which would cost between $1500-$4000. After paying them $360 dollars, I called some other plumbers on Angie's list for a 2nd opinion. One of them referred me to Drain Doctors. I called Drain Doctors who came to the house about 2 weeks later. The toilet was still working at this point but I wanted to be able to flush regular toilet paper down it, imagine that. The person from Drain Doctor pulled the toilet off (which A2Z didn't do) and worked on the drain. It's been about 3 weeks of regular usage from both toilets and they're still working fine.
Description of Work: Called in late November to unclog a toilet. Paid $160. Three weeks later, the same line clogged again, A2Z came out and charged $200 to unclog the line and run a camera down to diagnose the problem. They cleared the line both times but did not give me a diagnosis, instead they gave me this suggestion after the 2nd visit: don't put any toilet paper in the toilet or the toilet upstairs (that's connected to the same line) as it could clog the line again. They then offered to replace the line for $1500- $4000. I called around for a second opinion and will not be using A2Z again.

I called A2Z Plumbing late on a Tuesday afternoon. Casey Mitchell answered the phone.. I had been having problems in my bathroom for a couple of weeks. All the plumbing seemed to be involved. It started with the sink draining slowly , then the commode would "glub" as the bathtub slowly drained finally the commode stopped up completely. He told me it sounded like a sewer machine was needed. We also had a sink in another bathroom that drained slowly and the cold water in the bathtub came out in a trickle.. Since it was not an emergency, we agreed his associate, Jason, would come the next morning. Jason called when he was on his way. After being shown where everything was, he completed all the work in about an hour. He was quick, friendly and very efficient.. THE TOTAL COST WAS ONLY $175.00. I am a fan for life.
Description of Work: My sink began to drain slowly. A few days later the bathtub also began to drain slower and slower. Finally, the commode stopped up, The cold water in a different bathroom came out in a tickle and the sink drain was slow.
