Description of Work: I was having my bathroom re-done and had had some cabinets built by a cabinet maker in Corpus Christi, Tx. I was not pleased with the appearance of one of the drawer fronts, and when the man came out to install the cabinets, he had forgotten to bring trim for the corners where the cabinets meet the walls. I had attempted to call the Corpus Christi cabinet maker several times in order to ask him to re-do the drawer front at my expense, and to remind him that I still needed the trim. After many calls, I realized that he was never going to return my call, even though he had already been paid in full for the cabinets AND the trim. I contacted another gentleman who said he could have the drawer front re-made to match the others. When he brought the new drawer front, it was stained the wrong color and did not even come close to matching. I paid him, but was very disappointed. With no options left, I contacted a decorator shop in Rockport, TX and asked if they knew of any reputable cabinet makers. They referred me to Duncan Woodworks and told me that this company does quality work. I hoped they were right. When I called Duncan Woodworks in Rockport, TX.the gentleman I spoke with was very nice and asked me to bring the drawer that I wanted re-done as well as another drawer so they could match the style and stain. He asked me to bring it right over. I did. My husband and I were away quite a bit for about 6 weeks, so I wasn't too concerned about how long it would take to get the drawers back. Theresa Duncan stayed in touch with me by telephone to let me know that the shipper had been slow in sending the maple wood to them, so there would be a delay. I was ok with that because we were still away. When Theresa called to let me know they were done, she came right out THAT DAY and very meticulously installed the drawer front herself. It is a perfect match! I WISH I had known about this company from the beginning. If I had, I would have had them build my cabinets. Theresa had forgotten to bring the trim, (I think she stays very busy) but I went ahead and paid her for it and told her we d be gone for awhile again, and asked her to install the trim when we returned. She agreed. Once we were back in town, I called Theresa. She kept her word, brought the trim out, installed it, and even left me an extra 8 ft. piece in case I ever needed more trim in the future. I can t brag enough on this wonderful lady and her company. These are very nice people. Honest and hard-working. I was so pleasantly surprised to see that a woman was doing some of the work. And I was not disappointed. Theresa is just as quality conscious as I am. Her work is absolutely stunningly lovely and speaks volumes about her as a person!
