He told us he was replacing the dirt in the beds, but decided against it in the front yard. This brought back the old weeds I was dealing with before. However, the biggest problem was that everything started dying in my back yard in May and I could not get him back out to our home until August. He came back out August 10th, because of the year warranty on my plants. He pulled took out all the plants that were dying at that time and trucked them away. He said he was coming back to replant and that I needed more irrigation too. He texted me on August 14th to let me know he was still hunting replacement plants. I have not received an update since. I've been trying to reach him by phone and texted on August 22nd and again just a few days ago without success. I would have appreciated some communication either way about what was going on or what he was dealing with.

He never showed up to give me an estimate.

This was a luxury remodel in Pemberton Heights and, as real estate investors, we needed a guarantee that we would get the result we wanted. Philip got the nod because he was willing to work with our existing irrigation contractor and seemed more flexible in working with us. He had the turf laid within a week and it was stunningly beautiful from the start, We had asked Phill's advice on the health of existing plantings and on how to handle a drainage issue along some downhill stone steps. We were impressed enough to engage Phillip to implement his recommendations and the results are spectacular. Phill has come by the property on a regular basis to check and adjust the irrigation and to make sure everything remains healthy. I highly recommend him; he is a background in biology, has an impressive knowledge of plants and plant care, is flexible in meeting our needs, and follows through repeatedly after the initial work to assure impressive results.
