John, the owner, is very personable, honest, straight forward, charged a fair price, and did a good job.

The services were really good. He is a great plumber and he is friendly and he has good customer service but I am not so happy about the big deal. Originally, he had told me in a previous visit that he would do the whole job when I told him what I needed, the fixture for the bath, the sink and the tub for $125. However, that might have been a little bit low and he didn’t remember that he had said that and I didn’t get it written down or anything. What he ended up doing was, he didn’t install the faucet in the tub because the one I got wouldn’t fit, it wasn’t the right one so I have to find a different one now. That was fine because he did what he could do but for the $119 he charged me for doing what he did which was the sink faucet and the drain. Then he put the drain in the bathtub and the whole thing that regulates the drain water flow but he did that for the big deal within the $119. It seemed a little bit high but it may not be; I am not sure about his prices though. My primary issue is I don’t know if I was getting $200 worth of work. However, he is a good plumber; he did the job right and well. He is going to come back to do the other part and then I am going to have to pay him $75 for that part of work. Then I would need to get other estimates from other plumbers to see if it is comparable or not so, I am not sure. Otherwise, his services were great. He charged me separately for installing the toilet, which was $100. He was quite responsive but his scheduler was not quite on top of it.

Jon and his son were very professional and honest men. I am really happy that my husband called Angiie's list and found Jonathan Betak at Asics Plumbing Services. I highly recommend them. It went great, and I will have him back to bring my hot water heater up to code. He knows his stuff for sure. He was actually able to fit me in on the day I had called, which was also great. Fast and thorough, very professional and informative. Need I say more?

My finacee went to pay the plumber at the jobsite (it's a rental property). Unfortunately, I was not there. First, he had already installed a water heater that would not allow the closing of the existing water heater closet door. He didn't bother to contact us to let us know about this. Why he didn't contact us first, or go check the water heater closet dimensions before starting the work baffles me. He didn't bother to contact the City of Leander, TX inspection department prior to finding out if the door needed to be able to close to pass inspection. So when I spoke with him, while he was at the jobsite, he suggested extending the water heater closet. I told him we have a budget and that he should have notified us before proceeding with the installation. He offered to remove the water heater. As responsible landlords, we are not going to leave our tenants without hot water. When he spoke with me on the phone, he must have sensed by the tone of my voice, my lack of satisfaction concerning his planning and execution of this installation. He claims to have upgraded the water heater from what he originally quoted, although there is no way for us to verify that because he did not list a brand and model number on the quote. My finacee also noticed that the drain from the water heater overflow drain pan does not drain to the outside. It drains into...the garage. The City of Leander, TX will be performing the plumbing inspection on the installation September 11th. We'll see if it passes... Kindest regards, Scott Martin

He did a really nice job. I've called him back a couple of times. He did a really good job. He has also done some plumbing work at some rental properties. He was prompt, he was available, he did the work. He knew what he was doing, he was knowledgeable. He got the job done. He was timely.

We had an arrangement and it didn't come the first time, then they called and apologized they were all mixed up with something. I originally purchased them to have a faucet to put in my kitchen, then I don't need the faucet. So they came and all they did was looked at my bathtub and put some caulking around. I didn't say anything at that time so it's my own fault but I don't feel for what they did it was worth the money. That's my fault that for what paid I didn't get my money's worth for not saying something.

Jon was all we had hoped for from using an Angie's-List-recommended provided. He was professional and personable, on time and on budget, conscientious and ethical. To the last--ethical--as an example, a guest bathroom toilet was flushing poorly and re-filling slowly. He could have told me the interior valves and tubing needed replacing and I would not have doubted the need nor the cost. Instead, he spent 20 seconds turning an intake knob (which I had failed to find) and said nothing else was needed. He is local. His son is in business with him. And he is one that we will use again.

After having Jonathan Betak here today from Asics Plumbing Services, I am writing his name down in my address book as our new plumber. He and his son came right on time to work on two toilet issues. One toilet seemed to have something blocking water flow ( let's not ask). Before assuming the blockage was the problem, he asked a number of questions and looked at a number of different things before he came to the conclusion that there was indeed something blocking a good flush. He used a long tool to clear the potatoe (?;) away, and made sure it was flushing properly. The other toilet was fixed by his nice son, who put in a new flapper and something else. So sorry;I I can't remember exactly what he did, other than to say that he fixed the problem. I was so pleased with Jonathan's careful attention and his warm personality that I got to wondering if he could also work on our tankless water heater, which we have had some problems with in the past. He said that he can work on the tankless water heaters, and before I could come up with the name of ours, he said that the brand he recommends and is licensed to service is Navien. Well, yahoo. That is our brand. He went up in the hot attic (July in Texas) and I followed, curious to hear what he had to say. He had just asked if he could take a peek at it, and I am glad he did. He took a real interest in making sure it was set up right, since we had had too many problems with it when it wasn't even a year old. He made some changes, describing everything as he went......not that I could repeat what he did an hour later. But he sure seemed to know what he was doing, and told me what to look for. I'm not too worried about remembering exactly what to do because I will call him if we have any more problems. I am going to recommend him to all of my friends even before they ask if I know of a good plumber.

He was awesome!! The pilot light has not gone off once since he's been here and I would recommend him to my friends and neighbors!! I will definitely keep his info and give him more business!! He seems to be a very honest person too which is hard to find nowadays and he didn't try selling me services or tell me I needed repairs that weren't needed.

The plain facts: I called the provider on 7/12/13, and asked for someone to fix a leak in my kitchen. She said the earliest someone could be there is 7/15/13, Monday. We scheduled for 2:30pm. When Monday at 2:40pm arrived, I had to call to see where the plumber was at this point. The Scheduler said she would call to see his status. When I called the scheduler back, she said that she actually showed me receiving service on 7/22/13, the following Monday. I couldn't believe she said that I agreed to having the plumber come by on the 22nd when I even asked her if they could come by that Saturday, 7/13/13. Basically, they screwed up the scheduling, and tried to hide it by saying we actually scheduled it on 7/22/13. Ridiculous!!!

Jon and team came right over as I had a small job and it fit into their schedule to help me out before heading out to their other activities. They honored their Angie's list Coupon for first time customer and they were very polite, informative and helpful. I would use them again for any plumbing need.

There was a little mix-up on the scheduled time, so did not arrive on time, arrived one hour after scheduled. Friendly, professional, informative. Had to leave to go purchase part at plumbing supply for install, while there, he purchased, 2 toilet seats at his cost for new toilet, and existing one. Had very small leak in toilet tank one week later, came out same day after full day of work to tighten seal, also adjusted softener while there. Work was thorough, and cleaned up completely after job. Will use again.

When I spoke to Jonathan hes asked me many questions in order to determine what the problem probably was. He told me some possibilities and we made an appt. When Jonathan and his son came to work on it they were extremely informative - kept me in the loop of all they were doing and why. They figured it out pretty quickly and before I knew it the problem was fixed! They were so nice and helpful through the entire process. I am really glad I chose them. If I EVER have any kind of plumbing problem these are the guys I am calling!

Purchased a Big deal for Asics Plumbing Services. We had a leak at bottom of the toilet. They came out and replaced the seal on the toilet. They were on time, efficient and completed the job in a timely manner.

I was not home, my daughter was and she said that he was very prompt, professional and very friendly. He got the job done and did a greata job at. I will be calling him to continue with other projects that I need fixed.

Start to finish....excellent and professional service. He called back within an hour of my first inquiry. I was especially impressed with how many questions he asked on that first phone call....age of house, when problem started, etc. He explained everything in detail and offered us advice about ongoing maintenance. Jonathan is a gem!

Squeezed me in for same day appointment, stayed for 90 minutes, solved all my problems, offered to advise me over the phone so I can reconnect ice maker in the future.

They arrived early. We reviewed the work that needed to be done. Jon and his helper set to work immediately and worked steadily for about two hours on two toilets. They cleaned up afterwards.

Excellent service! He was friendly and showed me ways to maintain my plumbing system on our own. Showed up and immediately repaired our upstairs drain. Proceeded to help with a sulphur smell coming from our shower. He noticed that the installation of the shower drain was done incorrectly and that is what was causing the smell. He repaired it and showed me how to prevent future buildup. Next up, the garbage disposal where he showed me a trick or two to keep it clean and prevent buildup. He then proceeded to stick his hands in there and clean out all the gunk I didn't even know built up in there. Will definitely call him with any other issues!

From the time that I called for an estimate to the inspection upon completion everything went smoothly. I was given an estimate range of $1000 - $1300. I was also given a discount for finding Asics Plumbing on Angies List of $100. The ending amount of $1150 was right in the middle of that estimate. Jonathon was on time and kept me informed all throughout the process. Very professional and I am quite pleased with outcome. There is a one year labor warranty so no worries there.

Overall he did a great job. I was totally satisfied with everything.

Jonathan was outstanding!! He did the job efficiently and quickly. When I first called them I thought I would have to wait for a call back, not so with Asics. Apart from the job Jonathan did for me, I asked his advice on other projects I have going on and he was upfront and candid with me...finally, someone that works with integrity. I am most certainly using them for my bathroom plumbing remodel. Can't say enough good things, I am impressed.
