Not well.

Travis was very responsive calling back in a timely manner and always keeping us informed of his progress. He showed up when he said he would and did the work quickly. We could not be more impressed, and highly recommend.

I called this company and the gentleman came out.My husband discussed the water drainage problem in our yard. Travis came up with an approximate price but said that he would drop off a proper price quote in 2 days.Well he did not but then came out and asked my husband a few questions about a possible product to be used on the work. He then said that he was going out of town for a wedding but would contact us after he returned. Monday after Thanksgiving I called him and his message center said that he was closed for Thanksgiving but would be opened the next day! I left a message for him to please call as soon as possible. Didn't call so on the following Wed. I called and got his message machine again.This time it said that he would return the call as soon as possible.I left the message asking if we did anything wrong as we had not heard from him and to please call if he was still interested on doing the job for us! Never a return call from him and it is now Dec 10th. I don't know what to think! He seemed like a very nice honest person but apparently he is not happy with us for some reason and refuses to return our call! I can't recommend him due to his lack of responsivness! I had to score him very low. I'm very sorry for that!I really liked the man and felt confident in him to help us out with our drainage problem!

He responded to our call quickly and checked/worked on our sprinkler system. In the past we called him to fix a sprinkler head that was run over near our driveway. He proposed and installed a flex pipe that has withstood being run over again. We will definitely call Studebakers again.

I called Travis to see if he might happen to be available within the hour for quick quote on some sprinkler repair issues. Travis called me back, he was just finishing a job in Keller. He said he could be over (Watauga) within 20 minutes. He arrived quickly, tested the system, analyzed the heads for replacement, repair or adjustment and quoted us. He said if we wanted him to, he could do the job right then. Of course, we did, and he did the job in about an hour's time. We are satisfied with Travis, and won't hesitate to contact him again, should we need further sprinkler repair services.

He dug around the two valve areas and spotted a leaky release valve on one, and had to dig further downstream to spot a bad leak. He replaced the leaky valve, and replaced the leaky pipe.

EXCELLENT. I have nothing but praise for Travis. He was running late from another job and kept me informed of his arrival time. Other contractors doing other work did not do the same courtesy. When I demonstrated the problem, the system worked fine. Travis played with it and got the controller to faill the same way I did. He explained the problem and a cost effective solution. While on site, he checked out the rest of the system and repaired a defective sprinker head. His costs were very reasonable and I would not hesitate at all recommending him to others. Great job Travis!!!

Travis came over and fixed the problem and adjusted couple of the sprinkler heads. I was happy with the work. The problem arrived once I tried to run the system. 2 of the sprinkler banks were no longer working. I called the Travis' number couple of times in the course of the week following it and had no reply back or a call back. Had to call another company to fix the problem (it turned out that some of the wiring got damaged when the valve issue was fixed).

He was willing to give a free estimate so that I felt comfortable that he wouldn't overcharge me or claim that the zone problem was a costly one. He gave me off season rates, switched out heads for the correct sizes from different portions of the lawn, found that the only problem in the zone was the wrong sized heads, and stated that the problem with my program was probably due to lightening that overcharged the system. Simple and inexpenses fixes all. He wasn't rushed, he didn't charge me to explain the system at the new house and how to program it, and was very friendly and personable.

Travis was extremely professional has he always has been towards me. I have used Travis on 4 occasions over the past 3 years.

They did a good job. We paid the price that was estimated. I would hire them again. They were very professional. They were easy to get a hold of to do the work.

After finding Travis Studebaker through Angie's List,I contacted him for an estimate. He was far more economical than any other company I've worked with in the past. The job amounted to installing a new sprinkler system in the back yard by tying into an existing system that was torn apart when I had a retaining wall and fence installed several years ago. Travis was able to locate and repair the automatic valves and stations and get my timer working again. He hand dug and laid the new pipe in the backyard and new flower bed. The total job took about a day and a half with him doing all the work himself. As Travis is a one man show, I had to leave messages to coordinate our schedules for the actual installation job, but he was there when he said he would be within about an hour. He gives you recommendations but is truly interested in what you want to accomplish so is a "no pressure" sale. I just got a great vibe from him. He was thorough and professional and wonderful to work with. As long as he stays in the irrigation business, I'll be using him for all future work. I also will not hesitate to recommend him to all my friends.

When Travis started digging, it took longer than he expected, but he charged me for only the time he quoted me.

He came over to give me a general inspection and replace any broken sprinkler heads and I knew I had two of them. He found a leak in one system and repaired it when he brought back the wireless sensor for installation. He also gave me a quote for a new required sensor and installed on the next visit. While he was here on the second visit he found that one set of my sprinklers was not working because of a cut pipe. He repaired that for me also. He reset and reprogrammed my sprinkler system spraying times. He also took extra care to make sure that everything was in good working order and up to my standards upon inspection. I will use him again in the future.

He responded very promptly. We called Travis and he came out that night to look over the problems and give us an estimate. He offered to do the work that night but had used up his supply of some parts, so he came back the next day after he restocked. We also needed to turn off a sprinkler head near our patio, and he offered the option of removing the head and capping the pipe or just adjusting the water flow on the head. We would definitely call him back for any further changes or fixes.

Travis showed up as promised and completed the work above. What I liked about Travis is that he does no up selling and tries to keep the cost down to a minimum. He performed the work as described above without any problems. It actually took him a bit longer than he thought but he kept the cost the same as the estimate. He also was open to additional work different from the initial estimate. This changed the price a bit but was quite reasonable.

Very quick response from time I left the message to the actual service call was less than 24 hours. Based on our phone conversation, Travis was able to have all the parts he needed to complete the call in one trip.

We are so pleased with the service because whenever there is a problem they are always right on top of it. They are extremely professional and reliable. The prices are fair and I would recommend them to other people any time. They did a good job.

Travis is very polite and professional. For our first call, he apologized for getting back to me the next day, even though I had called at 5 pm the day before (a time when many others are already closed up for the day.) Travis found the leak quickly and explained the fix. After we approved, he had to purchase the correct part - since the leak was at the control valve, we needed a new one and he didn't have any with him. He seemed very concerned about keeping the price low and to avoid doing any work that we didn't need. He would explain his thoughts and offer to do the work if we really wanted him to, but we took his advice.

They were unreliable, and that's very rude to do when you're in business.

Mr. Travis Studebaker was extremely professional and did an excellent job of replacing rotors in our backyard and relocating and replacing sprays head in our front yard. I would recommend Studebaker Irrigation to anyone that needs sprinkler irrigation, repairs, installs, etc.

Travis was punctual and polite. The work was well done and very reasonable. A very positive experience and great value!
