C3 BACKYARD OASIS CO

C3 Backyard Oasis was suppose to build an outdoor kitchen at my house and start 12/09/14 and they didn't show up! I paid them a deposit of 4,200$ and they never refunded my money! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

We hired a prefessional architect to design our patio expansion. C3 (the general contractor we hired and had a contract with) then took the design, gave us a quote and initiated the work using subcontractors. Through all phases of work, there was very poor coordination and communication between the subs. C3 rarely came to by to check on progress. When there were questions from the subs, I had to field them or spent multiple calls to C3 trying to get answers. When we thought the work was finally finished, we discovered the pergola was not complete according to the design, skimping on material. C3 did finally come back and correct this issue. However, our problems did not end. Three weeks after the work was completed and we paid C3 in full, we received a certified letter from one of the subs claiming a lien on our property because C3 has not paid them for the work completed. I have made multiple calls to C3 to ask them to resolve this issue, and as has been the case over the course of the project, my calls go unanswered. We are now having to pursue legal action. I would never recommend contracting C3 Backyard Oasis or Corey Chambers for any work.

I can't say enough good things about the work that C3 Backyard Oasis did! The owner Corey and his foreman Alfonzo were amazing from start to finish. Corey listened to all of our wants and needs, and his design was even better than I could have imagined! They were prompt and completed the work earlier than expected, and cleaned up each day before they left which I appreciated greatly. All of the details from the cedar patio cover to the stone bartop exceeded my expectations. We are recommending C3 Backyard Oasis to anyone we know who wants an outdoor "oasis"!

Corey was patient beyond belief as we worked and re-worked the work proposal. He accomodated every request and was timely with his follow-up. He was always professional and kind. He delivered on every promise and we couldn't be happier. I look forward to having additional work done by Corey and team! ***Update*** Almost immediately we started having problems with the gates (electronic opener settings, sagging, etc.) The parts and workmanship are still under "warranty" per the contract but numerous calls and emails to Corey have gone unreturned. Looks like we will have to pay for another company to come out and fix his shotty job. Not only is his work inferior, he doesn't honor his contract.

They were on time and did it in a very timely manner. Their was a minor problem and they came right back out to fix it free of charge. They cleaned up all their mess when they were done.
