All was completed on time after short wait for custom top to be made.

It went great! They do a fantastic job. Great work. Everyone was very professional. All duct work and such was covered. It really looked fantastic.

Once I submitted a request for information on their website, I got a very prompt call by the company, a lady, I can't remember her name. She called within 24 hours, I believe the next morning, after I submitted my request for an estimate late the evening before. She took my information and said she would provide it to Dick and they would then reach out to come out and do an estimate. Dick called me within a business day or two, I can't remember, to ask when was good for me for him to come do an estimate. I was home and anytime that day was convenient so he said he's be over in the next hour or so if that worked for me, it did, so he came on over. He reviewed with me what we were looking for - which was just new granite counters and potentially back splash, but we were also considering doing the back splash ourselves, due to our budget. He reviewed details of what were looking for, whether we would want pre-fab slabs, or not, and other details like edging, etc. He took the measurement and said he would follow up with an email for an estimate. He sent a formal written estimate over within a day or two. We only got one other estimate, and while Wood and Stone's seemd fair enough, it was a little higher than the other estimate we got. We didn't spend time going back further to see if there was any wiggle room in the estimate because we ended up not doing the work altogether due other issues that arose.

Didn't seem to want to do the job. We were removing built in oven and counter top burners plus cabinets. We would need new cabinets put back in. He didn't seem too interested in doing the job. We weren't impressed with him or his manner

Very detail oriented and has some wonderful ideas that I did not think of. However, price was high and way above others I received. Everything was custom, which is good I guess for a master bathroom. My bathrooms were for older children, so fancy was not what I needed, just practical

They did a very good job, high quality work, clean and precise. A few notable characteristic features of Wood & Stone, besides the quality: 1. Mistakes (and we had a couple) were promptly admitted and fixed. This, in my opinion, is a superb quality, and unfortunately quite a rarity. 2. Very punctual with time. 3. Good effort coordination. Alex is a superb manager and a smart and caring man.

My original review was inaccurate. I called a number of contractors and got the names on my list mixed up when I did the original review. I did receive a return call from this contractor. They apologized for the couple of days delay in response. Contractor rep was very polite and professional. We did not pursue an estimate for other reasons.

They were always on time. They did good work and really responsive. I would recommend them. I would use them again.

They left a fair amount of debris in the attic after they were finished. The pricing was a little higher but the work was excellent. They were very straightforward. For the most part they did the job as expected. They showed up late a little bit but they got the job done within the timeframe which they had expected and the work was completed as expected. I asked for a quote for other work and the price was higher than I expected so I did not hire them for that.

Wood and Stone was very responsive to our call and to our remodeling needs. The suggestions they offered to improve our showers turned out very nice and we are pleased with the results. We also asked them to repair large ceiling cracks and they did excellent work. Wood and Stone is a real professional operation and seems to stand behind their work. After the work was complete, they left us a nice wine basket wtih a thank you note! We will definitely use them again!

I decided to just re-face my cabinets instead of building ones from scratch. I liked the way their bid was written, though, as it spelled out each service and respective cost.

The guy was very nice. He came out in one afternoon, took measurements, and gave me an estimate about a week later. He sent it by email and it was an itemized estimate. I did not have any problems with him.

Arrived on time and completed the work to my satisfaction.

No problems. Dick took our specifications and drew up an itemized estimate. We agreed upon what was to be done for what price and when. The workmen showed up on time. In one intense where he was delayed, we received a call with a new estimate time which was met. The work was competed, an excellent job. I was amazed at how exactly the bookcases fit into place.

Came out to measure for kitchen cabinet refacing. Talked a good game. Never heard back from them with an estimate.

Received an estimate on Monday and they performed the work on Wednesday. The entire organization was very professional and responsive. Best of all, the quality of work was excellent

The construction went fine. There was just a small communication issue within their office while getting the work done. I would possibly use their service in the future.

Dick and his son in law came out within a couple of days of my original call. I went through an extensive list of changes I wanted made to the kitchen and both bathrooms. They were very interested in building new cabinets for me. When I told them I'd like to explore some less expensive options, they appeared to 'cool'. They promised an estimate by the end of the following week. At two weeks, I called to inquire about the estimate. The receptionist stated that she "would put it on the top of the pile." At three weeks, I received the emailed estimate. Several items that we had talked about were not adressed. In the interem, I had contacted other contractors.

I found the bid little too high in comparison to some of the other bids I have had.

They were well-recommended but when we talked to them we liked the principal of the company. They came out and explained what they were going to do and it worked out really well. I would recommend them. We looked at three companies and I think they were the priciest but they were well worth it.

It was a small job and they were wonderful. They called back and were on time each time we dealt with them. They covered everything and did an excellent job. I am going to use them for a larger project in the future.

My husband & I had a custom bookshelf and file cabinets built into an existing wall. Dick returned my first phone call within the day and was quick to schedule a time to come out and look. Another contractor had let us down and Dick and his team were more than willing to step in. After describing what we wanted, Alex took measurements and asked some questions about finishes, etc. They turned out exactly as I had envisioned them. Dick and Alex are professional, friendly and did every thing they could to get our project finished before we had a house full of people for Christmas!! We will definitely use them for our next project!

I got three solid contractors, and I liked him the most, so far. He has been the most responsive too. He is very professional, in the sense that he has a number of companies that do business with him. You normally don?t have a general contractor that is capable of doing everything but he apparently is capable. He has had every single one of the sub-contractors, 4 in all, to come by, look at the house and do the evaluation of the piece that they have to do. They went back, and subsequently, he has submitted a very professional quote. It is very detailed with the amount of work that needs to be done clearly listed under each section. It is all added up correctly. Depending on the discussions that are to happen today and how the new quote looks, it is quite possible that I would hire him.
