 + -1 moreWe had a sudden problem with our sprinkler system not coming on, and figured we needed extra help. After doing a quick search on Angie's list, we contacted Rickey. He came out when he said he would, found the problem and a few others and immediately fixed it. I think he was there no more than 30 minutes. I felt like the price was fair and I was just happy I didn't need to buy a new rain sensor!
Description of Work: Fixed the rain sensor, replaced various broken heads and adjusted the spray nozzles to best fit area.

 + -1 moreWe have a few misses initially scheduling an appointment. The date we finally agreed to meet, Richard missed the appt and then we tried another time and an emergency prevented him from making the appt. I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't mind the missed appt.'s but I imagine that others might have been frustrated. However, when he did make it to my home, he was very friendly and professional. He checked all my zones, made a few adjustments, fixed my rain sensor and one of the sprinkler heads. While he inspected my sprinkler system, I did ask him for a quote to install french drains in my yard since I have some low spots. I will consider him for other work.
Description of Work: I purchased a Angie's List Big Deal to have my sprinkler system inspected.

Description of Work: I had contacted them about some broken sprinkler heads that were wasting water on the driveway. I left several messages before my call was returned. The owner was on vacation, but was kind enough to have a friend stop by my house to make repairs, all without charge. He installed the system in January and his customer service has been excellent. He has stopped by my home on several occasions to make repairs, sometimes without charge.

 + -1 moreI was planning to have a tune up on our sprinkler system. He was punctual and easy to schedule . When he came out, it had rained in the morning, so it was we,t and we both decided it would be better for him to come back on a dry day so he could see where the water sprayed. I appreciate him willing to come back. He did come back on an agreed upon day. I thought he would adjust all the sprinkler heads. He seemed to be in a big hurry that day. He stayed about 15 minutes and then was off. I was hoping for a more thorough tune up and hoping he could help me locate my covered valves. That did not happen.
Description of Work: I bought an Angie's deal to have a tune up on our sprinkler system.

 + -1 moreI purchased a coupon for the inspection of my sprinkler system through Angies List for approximately $99. I called for an appointment and Rick was cordial and professional. He arrived at my home on time, and took the time to explain the ins and outs of my system, which is something I really liked. He is extremely knowledgeable. He also replaced 2 of my sprinkler nozzles, and even programmed my system. I was very happy with the service he provided. The only thing I didn't like was that Rick charged me an additional $35. He did not give me an invoice, on which this addional charge was itemized. Although I can use my cancelled check as a receipt, I would have preferred to have received one from him.
Description of Work: General inspection and adjustment of my sprinkler system and replacement of 2 sprinkler nozzles.

 + -1 moreThey came out looked at my entire systrem for leaks to the system & a few sprinklers that were not operating correctly. They found the pressure issue was due to a leak in the line and we had sprinklers that were clogged or needed to be replaced. They came back and fixed the problems the next day. Service was excellent and professional.

Description of Work: He looked over my sprinkler system and found a leak that had been there for two years. He replace parts and repaired the leak. He only charged me an extra $66 dollars. I was impressed and will use him each year to manage my system. He also programed my timerfor the winter time.

 + -1 moreI purchased a voucher for a $59 inspection of our sprinkler system. I called and set up an appointment which occurred a couple of weeks after I called. I was not at home when the work was performed. They did the inspection and reported to my wife that nothing was wrong. I went out the following weekend and took a look. There's a sprinkler on the side of the house that is permanently pushed out (instead of moving back down into the lawn after use) and a couple of the front sprinklers are obstructed by landscaping rocks which is limiting their effectiveness. I think these things should have been discovered during the inspection.

They quoted me a reasonable price and came back out the next day to fix all the sprinklers. I was very pleased with their professionalism and timely response to our problem. I will hire them in the future if needed.

He looked over the zone cycles and then walked me around and told me what he could change to make it better. He sent me an quote the next day on all the issues we discussed. He really didn't do much on the initial visit. I like the company but the price was way too high for what recieved as a service.

 + -1 moreInspection was day one and a list of the parts needing replacing and a general summary of what they'd do to optimize our system was delivered within an hour or so of arrival. The recommendation for a new timer was so welcome - ours was so old the entirety of the face was bleached off by the sun and we basically guessed at the operations. They didn't have that in stock so a couple days later they were back and installed it and tested all zones, ran me through the cycles and programming on the new timer and we were left with a fully functioning irrigation system for perhaps the first time in years!
Description of Work: These guys are awesome ... best money I've ever spent on my irrigation system. They inspected the entire 6-zone system, fixed nipples, nozzles, heads & line where necessary; installed a new timer with one that is SO much easier than the old one, and they repositioned, realigned and generally re-stationed the direction, arc, angle and coverage of all the sprinkler heads. My yard hasn't looked so good in years (I had no idea those beds behind the pool weren't receiving proper water!) and I'm contemplating planting flowers since the sprinkler system is working so well (yard of the month, here we come!)

Description of Work: Sprinkler system check and adjustment.but I notices about a month after his visit I had an area in my front yard browning out when we stopped getting rain. I checked and the sprinkler for that area was under the turf and had been for sometime. I removed the turf and the sprinkler worked but it didn't pop up as it should. Obviously it was not functioning when checked and just missed. I would have paid for the work needed to fix but it wasn't caught.

 + -1 moreRepresentative, who was owner, set the appointment and communicated with me about time etc. Showed up on time and did the inspection and then provided the estimate in a timely manner. Did not perform a service but provided an estimate. I rate quality and price as Fair because I do not think I received what was advertised. The small repairs that were quoted at a reasonable price I thought were to be included in my check-up. I know to ask more questions and be sure what I'm receiving prior to purchasing a Big Deal in the future.
Description of Work: No services were performed. I understood the service to be a check-up and adjustment to sprinkler system and fully expected an estimate for repairs or redesign. He did a walk through and review of my system noted some sprinklers that needed adjustments and recommended some changes. Left and sent me an estimate for all the work he noted. The estimate appeared reasonable for the minor work such as adjusting or changing sprinkler flow, but I thought expensive for the more significant items which indluded moving sprinklers or changing the design of 1 zone. He did not give an estimate for sprinkler redesign resulting from pending pool installation, recommended I call after pool desing complete and install set.. Choose not to have him do the work or come back and give estimate on sprinkler re-work as I did not feel I received the check-up I purchased in the Big Deal.

 + -1 moreRainscape was punctual did a quality job. They ran into some unusual challenges repairing the system but did not charge me for the extra time required to get things repaired. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Initially Rainscape came out diagnose problems with my yard sprinkler system. After they provided me an estimate for repairs I contracted them for a return visit to fix the system. They had to order a few parts and returned in a week for repairs. The system works great now.
