Mike's Complete Landscaping

We had drainage issues in our backyard and Mike helped us to troubleshoot and come up with a solution. Mike was very easy to work with, very punctual and professional and I would recommend him to all in need.

Mike's Complete Landscaping was wonderful. We wanted our flower beds re-done, and they were over grown with weeds and grass. We also asked for a stone border. From start to finish, they had great communication with us and answered all of my questions immediately (same day.) Mike was very thorough and knowledgeable when he came to do an estimate. The day of the job, they arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They cleaned up after themselves, including bagging up old plants, plus even removing dirt piles from the street. Our yard looks amazing! I would recommend them in a heartbeat, and have them back again. Very reasonably priced and excellent work.

Mike and his team were very punctual and did a great job fixing my irrigation system and laying sod in my yard. Completed all work quickly and cleaned up nicely. They also did some nice small extras, such as burying an internet cable, replacing the plastic valve covers for the sprinklers and even lubricating the hinges on my gate when they stuck. His office staff is also very responsive to emails, with very quick responses and updating me on their scheduling.

Mike and his crew arrived and did the job efficiently and thoroughly. He also explained when and how to prune and fertilize them. A few weeks after the job , some of my plants were looking a bit tired ( I was away for few days). I emailed Mike and he came around the same day and advised me on what needed to be done. Wow! Mike, Angela and team were truly amazing. My next door neighbor had recommended Mike's, as he has been using his company for 30 years, and my neighbor's lawn and plants always look pristine. Mike came by within 48 hours of my inquiry, walked through my property, and we discussed my needs- like everything I dreamed of doing(but really didn't think I could afford- but it turned out I could!). My current landscaping was ancient and awful, in front, and back was even uglier and unkempt, and parts of the back yard frequently underwater. Mike gave me a quote the next morning, I accepted it (wow, great value!) and sent my deposit, and by a freakish chance, his team was able to come the next day (don't expect this!). His team were like landscape Ninja's. They were fast, nice, efficient, and actually did a few extra little touches to make the project even more elevated. They: ripped out and replanted, and re-landscaped (raised the beds with new dirt, fertilized, mulched) an entire bed across the front of my house, mulched, weeded, and moved the existing plants in a separate front bed under 2 large trees. In the back they sawed down 2 old fences, lay river rock outside of the pool area, built a french drain behind my garage to eliminate the puddling in that area, cleaned up a bed in the back yard, and cut down a tree.They also cleaned up 6 very sad sago palms(now look fresh and healthy!) I am flabbergasted, as their crew did all of this in 8 hours. Then they swept everything up and hosed it down, and now, perfection. Mike has had his company for 40 years, and clearly, really knows his stuff, with a great taste level to boot. I highly recommend Mike's Complete Landscaping.

Terrible; we were home during the appointment time, but apparently the guy was too afraid of our dog on a tie out cable, that kept her from being able to reach the front door, to come knock on our door (or even leave his car). We missed his call (as we are often kept busy by our two disabled kids) and now they no longer want to do business with us based on labeling us a no call no show after I requested a reschedule after they never came to our door.

The trees and shrubs in my yard needed a lot of cleaning up after 30 years of mostly neglect. Mike came highly recommended and he lived up to it and more. He's very responsive, got me on his schedule quickly, and then did excellent work at a good price. He and his crew were here on a day when it rained most of the time, but they stuck with it and did a good job, cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and were pleasant to have around. They've got my recommendation any time.

We were very interested in working with such a highly rated company.. He met with us and seemed to be interested. When we contacted him to follow up, he turned us down- didn’t want to do our job. No reason given. Wonder if it’s because we are two women? Never had such an experience. Never even got to pricing.

Excellent job. Completed job on time and on budget. Discussed project in detail and followed through with recommendations and suggestions. Would definitely hire again.

Back yard ground was bare after another lawn service killed the grass with overtreatment. Mike quoted installation of new sod, plus planting ground cover in a heavily shaded area, and some trimming on a couple of trees that were providing too much shade. Work was done in a timely manner, crew left the area neat and tidy. Two months later, the grass and ground cover still look beautiful and healthy.

Very well. The owner came out we walked the area and discussed what needed to be done. They emailed me an estimate within a day or two. I emailed back a couple of questions. They responded promptly. I agreed to the price. It took a couple of weeks to get it done because of rainy weather. A two man crew came out did the work diligently and efficiently. I was very pleased.

We had such a wonderful experience with this company. We have had different garden services and landscapers in the past, and our experiences have been average. I emailed this company because of its A rating on Angie's last Saturday. The owner emailed me right back! Then he called on Monday to come and inspect our property and see what needed doing. He had me when he said that his folks know the difference between a weed and a plant! Very heartening because the other companies we used did not. The estimate was detailed and in our price range. he made some excellent suggestions for transforming our backyard and the front garden looks magnificent. Mike gave me some excellent suggestions for the front as well. We will be back, Mike's Complete Landscaping! Best service ever! Thank you so much.

Mike is awesome. We found him through Angie's List a couple of years ago and have used him for landscaping ever since. He does a fantastic job of making and keeping a landscape beautiful!

We hired Mike's Complete Landscaping to fix our backyard. It's severely shaded by a giant oak tree and was ravaged by web worms a few years ago. Since then it's been a mess of dirt, leaves, and mulch. Mike revitalized the yard with ground cover in the overly shady areas and sod where it's sunny enough to survive. He even used some existing river rocks, that I was expecting to be disposed, to cover drains and keep them from getting clogged with leaves. Everything looks great and I'm really happy to have a functional backyard again.

I am extremely satisfied with the quality landscaping done by Mike and his team, particularly on a limited budget. My wife and I had a vague idea of what we wanted, but Mike and Angie came up with a design using plants that do well in Houston (we just moved here). They also helped prepare documentation for my neighborhood HOA, which went above and beyond my expectations.

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job in making over my yard. He arrived promptly at our appointment to give me a quote, and sent the quote within the day. He and his crew did a professional, thorough job in clearing my overgrown yard, and in putting down weed-stop fabric and gravel. The new garden bed is exactly as we discussed. He was very communicative about his schedule and on what days he would be over to do the work. If I need more landscaping work in the future, he will be my first call.

Mike and his staff were very responsive in helping with the selection of the various plants to be added to the back yard and in scheduling the project to get the best quality product. They were punctual and kept us fully informed of the progress of the project. They will also be providing mowing service this summer. The price was very affordable for three flower beds and a variety of plants.

Mike's work is excellent. I have been a customer for several years now; and he is always reliable, responsive and provides highest-quality results. He has a great crew who are friendly, easy to communicate with, professional and clean up after every job. I also rely on Mike's years of experience to advise me on how to keep my yard looking great. I love that estimates and monthly bills are sent by email; and that I can pay using the Zelle feature from my bank. So convenient.

Mike and his team of pros completely transformed my home's exterior with gorgeous landscaping. I met with them on a Thursday and by the following Monday, they were in my yard planting, weeding and pruning. These guys clearly know their stuff and gave me plenty of options/idea for sprucing up my space. We will hire them again for any yard work we need done—they even do drainage and hardscapes!

I have several dead plants and for the amount of money not happy with the quality or the plant size used by this company. Though eager to please once the money was paid never heard from again. I would never use this company again.

We were happy with the work, attention from owner, friendliness of office staff, cleaning up after themselves, and continuing lawn maintenance. I don’t really remember how much it cost.

Mike's team did a great job, our yard turned our just how we wanted it. Mike was on site during the work and gave me advice on how to take care of the new trees/plants, as well as, showed me how to better take care of my existing trees.

The work was done in one day. I had no issue with responses and Maria was very friendly and professional. I had explained what I wanted and the finished result was really good.
