There was plenty of work so it took them 4,5 days to finish. Several of them worked from early morning to late evening. They did an excellent job.

My yard looks amazing! I get so many complements. They respond quickly for estimates and got the work done within the next two days. I had no idea what plants I should use. Mike gave me some options and my yard looks so good.

Excellent company. The bidding process is easy and the work was done on time and looked great. The office is efficient to deal with and if you accept the bid, you sign on the screen and they schedule your time.

Vendor requested that phone messages not be made and requested email contact. Vender never responds to emails. Consequently, there is no way to communicate with this vendor.

Maria Allison, with Mike's Complete Landscaping came to the rescue. While I was away for the weekend, she assured me, on my return I would find my yard restored and looking beautiful. I was not disappointed. Maria took personal interest in my yard, used initiative in selecting replacement plants, and totally transformed the front & back. My house sold in four days, and I truly believe it was because of my beautiful garden.

I hired Mike's last summer based on their Angie's List reviews and initially I was impressed with the responsiveness and reliability of service. However, the service was spotty over the winter which was fine as our yard didn't need maintenance as often. But when they failed to come for their weekly maintenance and then cancelled the following week due to weather (even though it hasn't rained in several days) I let them know I was disappointed and asked to understand more about the situation. The next day I received a response that they were cancelling my service. The timing of this put me in a very bad situation as we were listing our house to sell that weekend (which they were aware of) and really needed our yard looking it's best. A couple weeks prior to this I asked about getting a few plants added to my flower beds after the freeze killed off several and couldn't get a quote from them that was less than $1,000. My beds are very small and I wasn't looking to re-do the whole yard. Just fill in. I ended up hiring a different service that performed the work for $300 and did exactly what I needed. This all happened about a month ago and I have since hired a service who have been incredibly reliable, easy to work with, and responsive. Overall I would not recommend Mike's unless you are ok with having a lawn service that shows up whenever they choose and does whatever work they seem appropriate despite the customers wishes. I have worked with various handymen, contractors, and service providers and never had any issues and especially have never encountered a company unwilling to come out and perform the work they had agreed to do.

They were prompt, courteous and helpful and I am very pleased with the finished project.

The install went GREAT!! My beds in the front look amazing and the cleanup was also excellent. Maria was very responsive and very easy to work with. I contacted them via email per their request and received a call almost immediately. There were several changes that I made during the estimate phase which was done via text and email. She also came back to my house to ensure that we were all on the same page before the final estimate was completed. Very easy process. I am very happy with the results.

Rocky at first. Bid and plant material had to be adjusted. The manager of the job changed. The problems remedied quickly and fairly. I will use them again.

One day, crew of 4, brought in materials as necessary and carried off all trimmings. We were pleased with the result.

One seldom comes across a business as responsive, efficient, and competent as this one, from the receptionist who answers calls and instantaneously emails quotes to Carlos who gives quotes, designs landscaping, and supervises the work. The work was done punctually and professionally, all to my satisfaction. What more can one ask for.

Carlos met with us at our house. We told him what we wanted, gave us a quote very quickly. Team showed up and everything was exactly how we wanted it once completed. They did a great job.

The mulching was fine. Good work. The grass started to die within a month. It is now half dead, three months later. We watered it, though they provided no care instructions, etc. Seemed obvious: water it. When the yard was half dead, I wrote to complain. They sent a guy by, who basically said (via email) we didn't water it enough. (We watered it a lot.). Maybe cinch bugs, he added. At any rate, kind of a waste of money. They didn't offer to put down new grass, spray for bugs, etc. They just said that maybe it would grow in. So...pretty unhelpful. A half dead yard, like before we paid them.

Mike and his crew did a really great job. A couple of days before we scheduled the appointment we heard it was going to rain for the entire week, so the weather wasn't exactly on our side. But Mike showed up even a day earlier than expected anyway, despite the rain. With a little patience from him and his crew they were able to get all the work done, since the rain was on and off. I'm really satisfied with the job they did, it's been very meticulous and accurate. They removed all the branches cut and leaves that had fallen from trees and bushes. They cleaned the yard perfectly and all the weeds have been removed. I will definitely contact them again for future works in my yard. Mike surely knows how to do his job.

I was very pleased with the result and the installation was great as well as the final selection of plants. The process did take longer than I had anticipated (started in early April) but there were week delays due to rainy weather and required approval from the Home Owners Association (drawing with complete plant details required.) The first drawing to the HOA was rejected as some of the plants did not meet their definition of a "shrub" required to screen the house foundation. I found that I needed to fully familiarize myself with all the HOA restrictions and also to better understand different plant options to get select maintenance shade tolerant plants. Maria was very friendly and helpful and always followed up in a timely manner.

Work has not started yet. But I wanted to get them high marks for showing up on time and providing an estimate in a timely manner. Doing what they said they would do. I recently purchased a house and it's absolutely amazing how many contractors do not call you back or are no-shows when you're bringing them business. I don't get it. If you're difficult from the get-go then what are the chances that you'll do what you say you're going to do, show up on time, and stand by your work? Anyway, kudos to Mike's for being one of the few, very few, contractors I did not have to chase down. Very responsive at this stage.

Excellent. Mikes landscaping lawn maintenance come on time and do exactly what they are supposed to do! We have been using them for about a month and will continue to use there services. If your looking for a reliable lawn company Mikes is the way to go.

We have a huge problem with vines growing from out of our alleyway and neighbor's yard, completely covering our fence and the entire side of our 2 story house and back-house. It is also full of poison ivy, so removing it has always been extremely problematic. We bit the bullet and decided to have some professionals come take care of it. Mike was very fast to come out to our home in central houston to give us an estimate. Once the details of the job and quote were given and agreed upon on friday, the next monday his crews were there and gone during the workday to complete the work. It's such a relief to have this taken care of so quickly and professionally.

Mike's Complete Landscaping did a great job of maintaining our yard. The staff and crew are professional, courteous and prompt with updates and responses. During our initial consultation with the owner, he provided great feedback on the plants and shrubs in our yard. Great company to work with!
