Affordable and fairly knowledgeable, but sloppy workmanship. After they leave don't call for service as you'll get attitude and less than friendly service. I had to rewire things that were unmanageable, they tore up boards in the attic and just left them there with no heads up. Always late, multiple no shows. There super nice when you are buying things but no so much when they have to come back to fix things. Also I would stay away from their recommended universal remote, and wish that I had...it's flaky, unreliable on channel changes, lags behind on fast forwards and plays, but worst of all it can only be programmed by a licensed dealer or installer, so if you need it adjusted or to add or remove something you have to call them or in my case find another company that programs them, which I have learned isn't very common as none of the places I have called since will use them. Lessons learned all round...

We have used them two times in our moves and will again in a few weeks. They are excellent. They know what they are doing. They are professional and careful with the items. They know how to install the big tvs and hit the mark first attempt. They are very reasonable in their costs. Can't say enough good about them.

While Nick's installers are good, Nick is severely deficient in programming the installed technology. To this day, the technology only works 60% of the time and that's after over a year of Nick coming to our house almost weekly with new "solutions" to the problems. We literally have over 100 text exchanges with Nick chronicling the persistent issues. Having spent tens of thousands of dollars automating a house that was already prewired, we are utterly dissatisfied and are contemplating a lawsuit at this point. We were given big promises, and left with a big mess. He can install a TV and speakers, but find someone else for home automation. It's not his forte by any means.

Nick was very nice. His crew was also very nice. The estimate given by Nick was not exactly what I was actually given. I had existing materials but was told they would not work. The projector mount I had (used) was not going to cut it and I was told the one they would install was actually smaller. When they installed it, it was the same size and length as the one I had. 1 month after it was installed, the projector leaned and I had to call them back. They responded immediately and replaced it with a better (much sturdier) mount ASAP. The original mount they had installed was not set to hold the weight distribution of my projector. My HDMI cable was only 25 foot and I was told I needed a 50 foot cable. I was hesitant but I said ok. The cable provided was a nicer one, but the 25 foot cable I had would have worked fine(it was used on the same equipment in a different house). I have around 25 feet of the new cable tied up in behind my wall. Overall the responsiveness was excellent with Nick and his company but I was mislead during the estimate. I would recommend them but would tell any future consumer to take anything said with a grain of salt.

I had no idea what I was doing when I decided to put in a sound system in my home. I have no knowledge of sound systems so Nic spent time working with me to pick out the right equipment before he even gave me an estimate for installing it . He set up all the components to work together. A week after it was installed, my granddaughter pressed all of the buttons and I was not getting sound. I called Nic and he worked with me until it was resolved. He was on time for the appointment and he was very patient with all of my questions. I would definitely use HTS again.

They were clean. After they were done, they vacuumed up all the drywall stuff and left it clean. It was like they were never there.
