Called First Call to make an appointment because my garage door wasn't opening. The appointment was made for the next morning. Someone from the office called me an hour later to confirm the appointment. The technician showed up on time and when I showed him the problem, the door opened for the first time in days (of course it did). Anyways, I asked the technician to look at the overall health. He recommended changing the springs after he showed me they were undersized, which was the reason the door was hard to open manually. Also, they weren't the same size. He changed the springs, installed a handle on the inside of the door, and some other misc. items at no cost. I will hire again if needed.

Perfectly. Sales rep was responsive to my questions, and prices were fair. Installation crew arrived on time, worked diligently and cleaned-up when they were done.

Michael, the technician, was prompt and extremely friendly. He went through all the issues with the current unit and priced out repairs, but based on the unit's age he recommended a replacement, as the replacement parts would have run me in the same price points, as well as, the housing unit shattered, so that wasn't even replaceable. He preformed the work with skill and efficiency. I was impressed. They also hauled away the old units, so it was a hands free clean up on my part. I called that morning and was able to get an appointment the same day. Hassle and worry free. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Went well. We scheduled a time to meet and Tony showed up. Looked at it and took maybe 10 minutes to figure out what needed done. Gave me 2 quality options on the parts, had everything he needed & gave immediate quotes and worked on it right there. Replaced all the Rollers, and a bracket. Checked out the rest of the system and did a small adjustment as well.

I called First Call Garage Doors and they came out the same day to install a garage door and garage door opener with efficiency. My sister was exactic because all of what we can save from the waters was in the garage and it gave her and my brother-in-law a sense of security and feeling of relief.

I am extremely pleased with the service! First Call did not charge a service charge for the estimate and arrived 10 minutes after my call! The technician, Tony, was wonderful! He was very professional and immediately detected the problem upon inspection. He objectively provided all options, which included a brand new garage door opener or a repair. The cost was in line with other service providers, but with a longer 5-year warranty. The service was done quickly and efficiently. I'm thankful I was able to find such an awesome provider on Angie's List!

Long story short, I had been working with my home warranty company to get my garage door fixed for 5 months. The company they sent fixed it (ridiculously expensive) but the garage door broke a couple months later. After months of trying to get it repaired, I'd had enough. I called First Call Garage. They came out the the next day. Very professional, provided a clear diagnoses, and options for repair. He fixed it that day at a great price. They are fabulous!!

They came out they did great work. They were honest and trustworthy. They didn't try to trick me and sell me unnecessary things.

Called them with an oddball problem with our existing garage door opener - they were at our place within 2 hours of the original call. Gave us a greatly-appreciated 30 minute heads-up call without being asked. Opener needed replacing, which they did fast, with minimum mess, at a fair cost. Micheal did a great job! He called ahead to confirm the appointment and showed up when promised. He did a very nice job on the installation and replaced the bracket that held the old unit to the ceiling when he put in the new unit to add additional stability. He put in new rollers on the door as well for a reasonable price and they helped to ensure the door closes smoothly and quietly. I am very pleased with the tidy job, no wires or loose materials left behind. He took the extra sttep to replace a couple of cracked brackets on the garage door and oil the spring at no additional charge. His truck was well stocked with any needed material which made for a smooth experience as no additional trips were needed and he finished the job quickly. The customer service was great and I appreciate that he took time to explain how the new unit worked and took time to answer any questions I had. I am so glad I used First Call Garage Doors and am pleased to have found them on Angie's List.

Very good appraisal of the situation and very rapid response on a Saturday

When I called Michael answered the phone immediately. He asked me some questions before he quoted the price. Since we have 1 garage door but 2 springs, he even suggested we get the second spring replaced as well. When he quoted the price, he actually quoted the price of an Angie's deal that I had not seen until I was scrolling through as I was talking to him! They were able come out same day (about 2 hrs after I called), and completed the job in 1 hour! Will definitely call them back if ever needed!

Fantastic! I received a phone call immediately after posting on Angie's list. Michael was professional, courteous, helpful & flexible. Dani came out to work on our door. He was also professional, courteous, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us all options, without bias & did not try to up sell us. He answered all questions completely & giving us complete details. He shared options for repairing & replacing, allowing us to make our own decisions based on facts. He was quick & had the work completed in record time. I will definitely use them again & will highly recommend them.

I received a courtesy call in the morning to confirm the appointment for today. The technician, who was wearing a shirt with the company's name on it, arrived on time & was courteous. I made the appointment because I had not performed any maintenance on the garage before now. Since the springs were 10 years old, I wanted them replaced now and not when they decide to break at some inopportune time in the near future. Michael quoted me the estimate before starting the work. When he finished he made sure that the garage door was working perfectly and that the remote openers still were in sync. He cleaned up the area when he was through. Lastly, he went over the itemized statement with me and explained the warranty on the springs. Now I feel secure that my garage door will operate safely for many more years.

He could not repair because the parts are proprietary needing the contractor who built the unit to fix at a custom charge. First call had all of the correct parts to replace the unit with a standard spring setup which is more economical and even works better

They amazingly responded with a service call within fifteen minutes of my calling them and provided an estimated price over the phone. The work was done promptly and professionally. The technician was pleasant to deal with. By replacing the rollers and lubricating the hinges, etc., my garage door is significantly quieter.

I needed a new door and opener and when I asked for an estimate Michael came right over to look. After we discussed it, we arranged for the new items to be installed in only 2 days. This morning, Michael's brother showed up and began the work, and was joined by Michael shortly thereafter. They did an amazingly thorough job. In about 3 hours everything was done. They removed the old items and even magnetically "swept" the garage for left over items; they meticulously adjusted everything to work perfectly; they "trained" me on the operation of everything; programmed the 2 remotes, wall panel and the Homelink in my automobile; answered all of my questions and even went over and cleaned any spots from the inside and outside of the doors. All in all and very thorough and satisfying experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any garage door work.

I joined Angie's List and found First Call Garage Doors. I really liked that First Call is also a member of the Better Business Bureau. I contacted the company and spoke with Michael; I made an appointment and he was at my house within an hour. Michael was very knowledgeable. He assessed the problem and informed me that I needed new rollers and springs; he had all the tools and equipment needed for the repair, and completed the job in about one hour.

Carlos knows garage doors. Amazing to watch him work. The track is replaced and garage door works better than it ever has worked. Carlos performed much needed maintenance including new wheels, lubrication, and adjustments. Great work! Also, kudos for coming out for my call at closing time; I really appreciate the responsiveness of this company.

Perfectly. Michael was awesome... He helped me decide which door and secured the existing one until the new one could be ordered and installed. He also installed a new lift master door opener and I can hardly hear it... It's so quiet! He was easy to work with and did a great job. I love my new door!! Highly recommend this company!
