Excellent. The representative was punctual, polite, courteous and knowledgeable. The charge for the service was reasonable. I have a regular AC guy, but I will probably switch to Air Express.

Great customer service, easy to schedule the appointment and great service. The tech that came out was wonderful.

The warranty was expired yet the vendor covered the work. This prompted me to subscribe to their monthly maintenance service.

We were so pleased, our air went out on a Saturday of a holiday weekend, we called and had prompt service, and most importantly our A/C was functioning again. The technician was pleasant and worked efficiently.

It was very easy to set up my appointment, and in prior to the technician call I received a call announcing he was headed towards my location. Hugo was very courteous and very detailed. I do have my unit service annually, each year by different company, but this time I think it got really good cleaning job. Hugo spend a lot of time washing and inspecting all parts of the unit to make sure everything was clean, washed condenser coils, cleaned drain lines etc. He also pointed that the outside unit was showing it's age and I needed to consider replacement unit. but he was not pushing it, which I thought was nice.

Prompt & reliable service technician very thorough & informed one about condition of unit. He suggested improvements but was not “pushy”.

Hugo did a great job for the fall inspection of my furnace. He was on time. He had also done a thorough spring inspection & found issues that were under warranty & ordered the parts & took care of the issues. The AC seemed to work more efficiently, cooled quicker than before the replacement parts. He used the manufacturers parts, not some universal parts. I have their Elite service plan which includes a spring & fall inspection/tune-up of the HVAC. Part of the service as listed on the company website states: "FREE REMINDERS: Take this off your "to do list". We handle everything to keep you on schedule!" In 3 years I have never had a reminder, I have had to call each time. Don't count on a reminder. The Elite service plan is for a year, so I did not list a price for the fall inspection since it is a part of the whole plan fee.

Made appointment day before. Showed up exactly on time. Very professional and courteous. Done in an hour.

This company is exactly what Angie's List is for. We went for the best highest ranked provider and got everything we were looking for plus a $300 discount on services. Our A/C went out in the middle of a smoldering heat wave. We knew it was about to - it was really old and when we bought the house, we knew the approximate age and that we were living on borrowed time. The tech noticed that our furnace was a particularly dangerous one that had many cracked heat exchangers and leaked radon and started house fires. I was skeptical, but found online that they were all recalled in the state of California for exactly those reasons. I was really happy to have been told this, and since we already had to replace the A/C, we upgraded the entire system for not that much more ($2000-ish) than it would have taken to just replace the A/C. The guys came and worked all day in the blazing hot attic with no A/C and finished in one day. Amazing. Now we have a brand new super efficient system. Highly recommend.

Called to see if a technician was available, receptionist picked up phone, asked what the problem was, then asked for address information and then said they were not taking any new clients in. Please delete this add if you are no longer accepting clients. Waste of time for us new clients. Will never recommend or call this company again.

I have been using Air Express since they replaced my AC coils in 2012 for both repairs and maintenance. On 30 May 2014, I spent almost $700 for a new capcitor and new condenser fan motor. When Sam arrived, he checked out the unit and noted the capcitor was faulty once again. I have been told the summer conditions are very h****** the units, but still surprised it had failed right at the year mark. Sam contacted the service manager (Mr. Svoboda, I believe) about the part. Bottom-line, they replaced the part and only charge for the service call. It is because of service like this, I have continued to use Air Express and plan to continue to do so. Prior to using Air Express, I had used a few other companies, but none seemed as responsive as these guys.

Excellent. They didn't charge me extra service fee for the additional problem. And the owner of the company was actually the person that did the work.

The service as a whole went better than I ever could have imagined. Until the 16th we've had nothing but bad luck with our ac units and especially, the service repair companies that came to 'fix' each problem. (Previously, when we had an issue, we went through our home owners insurance to file a claim and have a repair technician assigned to us. This time we bypassed our insurance company to find a good reliable service company, through Angie's list.) Wednesday evening our AC went out. Thursday afternoon I called Air Express and they said that someone could be available that same day to check out the problem and that they could give me a 30 minute notice to let me know when they would arrive. It's so nice to have a company that will actually tell you when they will arrive rather than giving you a time window of 8 am to 5 pm forcing you to take a vacation day! The service repair man that showed up was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. He showed up in a proper company van (unlike several other company service technicians that just show up unprepared in a personal pickup) and he put on shoe covers as soon as he walked in the door. He quickly determined that there was a clogged drain pipe and before flushing it out, made sure that the exit drain pipe was not in another part of the house which could have created a mess. He flushed the pipe, vacuumed up the excess water in the overflow reservoir, did a quick visual check of the system, and gave me a few recommendations of how to improve the performance of the unit. I am very pleased with the service I received and if I have any ac issues in the future, I will definitely use this company again.

Arrived on time. Put down tarps on carpet & stairs. It took a long time to get the old unit out before they could start installing the new. The quoted price was what we paid.

I called Air Express based on the high rating in Angie's list, but this company failed very badly for my job. The technician went to my house and did the checking. I called him on the phone to ask him about the problem, but he was not patient. Since I am not familiar with the general terminology of AC, such as evaporator, so, I tried to ask him to slow down and explain the problem slowly, he lost his patience and hang up on me. I called back 2-3 times and he just did not pick up the phone. At the same time, I guess he talked to the office and the office lady called me. The office lady tried to explain to me what the problem was, but she got confused at some point and she promised that she would get the technician to call me back to explain to me further. But, I never received such phone call. The other thing that I don't like is that the office lady said 'this is a trial and error situation' or the technician was not sure what the problem was and suggested that adding freon might fix the issue, but could not guarantee it ... Anyway, this is a really bad experience for me and I would never hire them again. The really bad thing is that I trusted them and wasted 1 full day on them.

I called Air Express on a holiday and they were very responsive in getting someone out to my house. Unfortunately, the unit was old and available parts were not readily available. After it was determined that the unit should be replaced, I decided to get a second review because the repairman had a lot of trouble getting to a part on the motor. I have no complaints about the Air Express. I have no doubt that if this had occurred during a normal working day the company probably would have gotten the job. I was charged a trip charge but the check was returned without any trouble since the job was not completed. Everyone at Air Express were very professional and actually showed up when they said they would be at my house. I will definitely call on Air Express again. I only rated Air Express a "B" because the work was not performed.
