+ 6 moreIf you appreciate attention to detail, you'll want to hire these guys. The work was scheduled for Friday, June 17. They came out on Thursday, June 16th, and laid forms so we could pre-approve the size and location. We also had the opportunity to look at pages of pictures of other jobs before finalizing the concrete color and pattern choices. On Friday, they moved all my patio furniture into the garage, laid protective planks so that the equipment wouldn't damage anything, and poured/stamped the new patio area. They power washed my existing patio pavers, the coping around the pool, and the driveway, then applied the stain to the driveway area and sealant to the coping. When they left on Friday, everything was picked up. Patio furniture was back in place. The construction site was extremely neat and tidy. On Saturday, they returned to apply the sealant to the firepit patio and driveway. I appreciated the "call me if you have any issues" offer. That tells you that they stand behind what they do. In fact, we have an appointment for two weeks hence, just to have a look at things to determine if we need to add another coat of sealant or address any issues since the completion. Well planned, perfectly executed....A+
Description of Work: Designed and created an raised firepit patio area that compliments the existing pavers and landscaping around my pool. The original firepit area was made of crushed granite (don't do that), bordered with landscaping plastic curbing. A&A removed the plastic curbing, moved some of the border plants and enlarged the area, also correcting the shape to be more symmetrical. The new patio was made of colored and stamped concrete raised 8" from the paver deck level, and set off with an 8" contrasting colored border. Behind the patio, they concreted in a sleeve where we can insert a patio umbrella to shade the new area. Also, they power-washed the cantilevered concrete coping around the pool, then added a new coat of sealant, making it appear glossy, yet non-slippery. Last, they applied a color to the covered driveway area that borders the patio pavers. This brings the driveway space into the patio area, making it appear larger and more continuous.
